I was looking for a quick breakfast and stumbled on this hidden gem. It's tucked away, easy to miss from the main road, but there's plenty of parking which is a big plus. Inside was very clean and well lit. The staff was actively cleaning, mopping, wiping tables, taking out trash. Always a good sign. There's a solid amount of seating too. We met Gabby at the counter and she was great. Funny, patient, welcoming, and genuinely easy to talk to. First impressions matter and she nailed it. I ordered a custom breakfast wrap with scrambled eggs, cheese, onions, spinach, and turkey bacon. Flavor-wise it was good and satisfying, but a little on the small side. I also grabbed two bottled drinks, a chocolate chip cookie, and a cup of mini muffins. The muffin cup only had about five or six small pieces. Total came to $28.99. That's where they lose a star for me. I get that it's Wilton, but it felt expensive for what we ordered. That said, the customer service was excellent, the staff was friendly, the space was clean, and the menu has a huge variety of food and desserts. Breakfast all day is a major win. Overall, a solid spot worth checking out. Just be prepared for higher prices. read more

I don't have a photo today, but might in the future. Anywho, before going to NYC for the night, I wanted to get a breakfast for old time's sake to precede my work day in Wilton. This has been a place I have been coming to on and off for the past several years. I best remember this as a place that has helped me tremendously during the height of the COVID pandemic. When I had first heard of this small coffee shop, I had thought the name to be an unofficial "Connecticut Welcome Center" considering that Wilton does border the state line with New York, and two of the other towns it borders has more direct borders with the state line. The service in here is always great. You are treated like one of them in here, and the food is always good. My normal go-to is when I would walk in for breakfast and order an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and bacon. Yum YUM! I have however had lunch from them and that was good as well, and I've had some other breakfast items from them as well. Really, if you're about one morning in Wilton, this is more than worth trying. And yes, it does get crowded in there, but you can eat outdoors, and it's mostly a take-out shop, so it's not as big a deal here. Oh, and if you need to bring home some coffee, you can totally buy a bag here to take home with you. read more

We ordered a few bagels: - smoked salmon with cream cheese - plain bagel egg and bacon - cinnamon raisin with cream cheese Everything was great. This is more like a 3.5 Stars. Pluses: The location is very nice, in a cul-de-sac with plenty of parking. There is both ample outdoor seating and indoor seating. The menu is pretty elaborate, to the point it could get overwhelming. I also felt the service was nice and the staff helpful. The main issue I had was that the food was not flavorful, and felt it lacked something that would differentiate them. Even a double egg platter felt like things were just tossed together to make it platter and it wasn't hot either. The toasts looked dry, the turkey very very thin, almost brittle, and the eggs had no flavor. The potatoes though did seem to be the most interesting part. I may still return, but will try something different. read more

Picked up egg sandwiches to go from here after the local diner was too crowded. They are conveniently located in wilton center with plenty of parking. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. There were tables outside that looked pleasant to dine at. The line inside to order was quite long (it's was breakfast rush time so that's to be expected) but our food was still ready pretty quickly. We also liked that our sandwiches didn't have that weird synthetic taste from the stuff some places use to grease their flattop. I feel like that "stuff" is pretty common at small delis, and I appreciated that at this place the sandwiches tasted lovely and fresh. The sausage they used was better than average, and the bacon was deliciously crispy. Will return and try more things. read more

Been a customer for over 20 years. My favorite coffee in town. Bagels are fresh daily from New York. Sweet potato fries are awesome and many other items on the menu are excellent as well. Very clean and the staff is wonderful. If you like sausage, egg and cheese you will want to try theirs. read more

Nice and clean good location. I have been here twice, first time i ordered BEC sandwich with coffee. The place was really busy so it wasn't fast but it was good. 2nd time i got a BLT sandwich club with fries and coffee. It was after the lunch crowd so my order was quick and i was able to sit inside and enjoy my meal. read more

A few days later I was in the Village Market up the street and purchased a buttered roll, cost $.80. After careful study and deliberation, I concluded that there was no discernible difference between the two buttered rolls, despite one costing almost 4 times as much as the other. read more

I don't usually leave reviews for restaurants unless they really amaze or disappoint me, and having worked as a cook when I was in school I try to be very understanding that things happen and orders aren't always 100% perfect... that said the corned beef hash I ordered this morning was shocking. I'm 99% sure it was just hormel canned corned beef hash. I wouldn't cook that at home myself, and I can't believe a restaurant would charge for it. There are a lot of places around here that do a really good homemade hash, and to get this delivered to me made me a real sad panda. I don't often feel the need to write bad reviews, as I am a small business owner myself however, I felt the need to share my experience. My family and I are new homeowners in Wilton from New York. I ordered ahead of time and waited approximately 30 mins to go pick up the order. When I arrive a woman behind the counter seemed stressed out and said it would be another ten mins. I understand things happen and I stepped out and returned 15 mins later. When I approached the counter she said it would be another ten mins, I asked what was going on because now it's been 45 mins for two simple egg sandwiches. She didn't have a response but responded with attitude and said "well now I'm saying it's another ten mins"as if we were in the "breakfast club" and she could add time to the order as she pleased. I've had nothing but extremely pleasant interactions with the small businesses in Wilton, but this might of been one of my worst- and I'm from New York. A true Wilton institution, this family-run enterprise is a bustling hub of activity just about any time of day. The staff is courteous, efficient and speedy, and the selection of coffees, sandwiches and other treats are always first-rate. Rarely is the family's patriarch not at the griddle, and he cooks up some of the most generous, tasty sandwiches and more with aplomb. What a fun little place! Went for b-fast on a Saturday morning around 9! It was packed, but there were people coming and going all morning. We grabbed the paper and a seat outside. I ordered a bacon, egg, cheese on a bagel. The BF had an omelet. It looked great! Also had 2 large iced coffees! Loved the low-keyness to the place. I have never felt more disrespected as a customer than I have at this establishment. There was a single occasion a while back when I brought my food back because it was cold. Since then I've had a suspicion that my orders took longer and longer to be made. Today I went in and the restaurant was empty. I placed a simple order of two items. Nineteen minutes passed and 5-6 orders that came in behind me were filled, excluding call aheads. When I brought this to the manager's attention - Gabby I believe - I was told "every time you come in it's an issue." This is literally the place I come every Saturday after dropping my daughter at karate, order two eggs and sausage, and then leave. Today when I got home the food was ice cold so it had clearly been left sitting. The unfortunate part is that it's a nice place and the food is almost always good. Was charged full price for a small coffee refill despite the fact that we have breakfast there almost every morning.(and I never get a refill just this day I did). When paying I seldom am told a total price before the card is grabbed and processed, and then the card is often slapped down on the counter in return instead of handed to me as I had done. Just went here for for the first time with my mom. What a delightful place! The daughter of the owner, Gabby, was so nice and told us all about their gluten free options, which they have a ton of! I had a delicious tuna wrap and my mom got the chicken soup, she liked it so much she got a second container to go! We also tried the gluten free bagels which are the best I've ever had, we bought 2 bags to take home. Such a great place and super friendly owners! Looking forward to coming back! read more
