A cute little cafe tucked into a plaza with a menu that offers plenty of options. The service was very pleasant and welcoming. I didn't get a chance to try the crepes or croissants this time, but my coworker really enjoyed the pistachio latte. I ordered the Nutella latte and was hoping for a stronger Nutella flavor more like a warm cup of rich Nutella goodness. Next time I might ask them to add a bit more. I cannot believe I've been sleeping on this gem of a place for almost a year now! This might be my favorite find in Downtown! First off, this crepe was absolutely delicious. I got the DTLA crepe, and it was huge!!!! I loved it! The crepe itself was a perfect thickness to hold all the ingredients. The salmon was great, and the cheese was ooey gooey and crispy at the ends. Absolute perfection! The woman manning the stand was absolutely awesome. She gives off the best vibes (and has the coolest glasses). She made my crepe for me right there! It was fun to watch. She so clearly loves being there, it's infectious. I would support her 10 times over. They have cute little seating out front as well. Which was perfect for a perfect day like today. In the middle of downtown Los Angeles, the cafe is run by a very nice lady who took our order and made the coffees in a hurry! The Caramel Macchiato was a bit sweet, next time I will ask for less sugar but the lavender latte was an amazing treat. The espresso quality was high, it was a treat in the downtown area. I ordered the turkey, spinach, cheese crepe and it was very tasty. I also tried the iced Moroccan spiced latte. The crepe was so tasty, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The latte wasn't far behind but I wish everything would have blended together better. I personally don't like tasting the graininess from the powders. This is located in the bloc and there is a few tables right outside the cafe where you can sit and enjoy if you'd like. Great service! read more

I was in the area Thursday around 1 PM. I needed coffee. The place is very cute. The cashier was very nice. They had a couple of pastries. I got a hot latte and it was pretty good just the right amount of espresso and creamy milk. I would say the price is reasonable for downtown LA. read more

Man what a great little surprise this place was. The turkey cheese pesto panini was fantastic! The coffee was great and the pastries as well! Pricing wasn't too bad and the service great as well. This cafe is located in the bloc shopping center Plaza just a few minutes walk from the metro line on the second floor. The whole place is neat with lots to see and try and plenty of tables and chairs available for a rest. Great visit would absolutely visit again! read more

Truly one of my favorite cafes in LA, a must-visit whenever I'm downtown. Their Moroccan and spiced lattes are exceptional. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming too. The pastries are out of this world, especially the ham and cheese croissant, which is always fresh along with their other pastries. They have an selection overall, and AMZING crepes. Of course once I stop working downtown this adorable 5 star cafe opens! Would've made this my regular cafe. Bf and I came here for crepes. I'm into the savory stuff so I got the lox crepe. I've had these from a few different places but I think this one was the best! Comes out nice and warm and the little crisp of cheese at the ends is a nice touch. She filled it with tons of salmon and did not skimp which I really appreciated! Price was reasonable at about $10. Will have to come here anytime I get the chance to come downtown again! read more

Whether you're on a short break or a long one. The seating outside the terrace here with the views and the crowds passing is so relaxing. The food is fabulous especially the specialty "yummy" crepes. The coffee is a total different story. A couple of tries of their immaculate latte gets you addictive and you'll give up on Starbucks. Whenever you're downtown and in the area for business or pleasure. I truly encourage you to come and visit this little heaven in the corner and support local small business owners. read more

I love crepes and when I saw that a new crepe spot opened up I knew I had to check it out. The owners are super nice and friendly. They gave us chocolates while we waited for the crepe to be ready. During these COVID times they take all the necessary precautions which is reassuring. I had a banana strawberry Nutella crepe with a hot latte( I asked for an iced latte but they gave me a hot latte, which I was okay with). Both items tasted really good. The banana strawberry Nutella crepe is not on the menu but the woman who helped us said we could add any topping to the once already on the menu and that is what we did. I would like to go back once the pandemic is a little better because I want to be able to enjoy my crepe a little more. It's a really small shop and they only have 3 tables for people to sit and eat. It's a family business which I always like to support. read more

They have tables outside their location so you can eat it. They are following covid regulations and require masks and they sanitize their tables after a client sits and leaves. If this isn't the cutest petite pop-up! I'm here roughly twice a week, and I am NEVER disappointed. Neatly tucked away inside of The Bloc (IYKYK), I want to have this space all to myself, but the proprietor Fatima (Patima?) is so sweet, I also want her to have lots of business! Overall - Awesome small Cafe in The Bloc DTLA Food - I got a Moroccan spiced latte which would equate to a dirty chai latte (with espresso). These are stronger spices than you will get at the chain coffee shops. FYI, only one drink size. The owner was so sweet!! I was telling her that I was at Disney World Epcot a couple weeks ago, and visited the Morocco at Epcot, it looked just like the real thing! I was in Marrakesh and Tangier in 2004 and had the best time! It's hard to imagine that I did an entire euro-canary islands-morocco backpacking trip without an iphone!!! OMG. We went on the 10th of June. We only got drinks but they were not very tasty. But that's subjective so it doesn't matter. What does matter is how rude the staff was. It was actually pretty funny because of how blatantly Inappropriate she was. I won't get into details, but one has to laugh. The nikuman had a meat (chicken?) and veggie filling that was crunchy and slightly sweet and salty, while the curryman had a traditional Japanese curry filling that was tasty with the perfect amount of spices. They perfectly warmed both body and soul on a chilly LA morning. If I lived nearby, I'd eat these every day! We also tried the yuzu cream pan, which was also pretty epic. The topping was a little crunchy, complementing the soft bread and creamy and smooth tart filling. This is definitely my new favorite Japanese bakery in the US! I just wish I lived a little closer to it.

The vibe inside was cozy and relaxed, which made it easy to slow down for a bit and enjoy everything. It's definitely the kind of place I'd come back to whenever I want good pastries and coffee without going somewhere overly trendy or complicated.

I used to stop by this bakery whenever I was in Ktown because I thought it was pretty solid. But…read moreafter today, I've definitely changed my mind. I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I'm not going to pay for food that skims on ingredients and shortchanges customers by charging more for less, so this will be my last visit.

My friend got the strawberry brick toast and although the presentation was a little messy, the toast was solid. I think my issue is just that it feels more like a bakery than a cafe. It's not the best place to study because their seating is outside, meaning no outlets. You are also super close by the street and sidewalk so lots of external noise. Parking is a bit hard but that's ktown for you. For sure the treats are good but wouldnt describe this place as one of my go-to's in korea town to study nor to catch up with my friends.

I expected a high-quality cupcake. The cupcakes looked cute, but they were as dry as the Sahara. They should have been labeled as white cupcakes as I didn't detect any vanilla in them. I suspect that the "buttercream" was made with milk and margarine and powdered sugar.....so much powdered sugar. It was sickeningly sweet, and it was dry too. And a true bettercream doesn't even use powdered sugar. So not only were the cupcakes terrible, they were not even what they purported to be. This is like calling a cut of meat a filet mignon and serving a hamburger. Von's, Ralphs and Albertson's make better cupcakes than this for a fraction of othe price.
