    Creme Brulee crepe

Last time I was here was prob a decade ago so I figured let's go check it out again! It's located on the street with a bunch of Asian restaurants so I know competition is high but surprisingly this shop is the only one with a line! I honestly thought it was going to be overrated but honestly the food was really good. I got the crème brûlée crepe with mango and ice cream and the crepe was so buttery and the mango wasn't too sweet and the ice cream was delicious. Only downside is parking is a pain and so is the line but it's so popular for a reason! I'd come back!

Millet Crepe is a small crepe stand on Sawtelle that seems to have built quite a following. We stopped by around 6:00 PM on a weekday and there were already several people waiting, with more arriving behind us. So far, we've only tried the Nutella and strawberry crepe, but it was delicious and very well made. Fresh, simple, and exactly what you want from a dessert crepe. Definitely worth the wait, and we'll be back soon to try some of the other options. There is a small area outside where you can sit and eat your crepe too.

Millet crepe is a small crepe stand and seems to be very popular. We went around 8 and the line wasn't too long and also moved very quickly. We got our order in less than 10 mins. It's a perfect dessert to grab after dinner. I got the Crème brûlée crepe and it wasn't overly sweet, perfect balance and sweetness for me. I didn't add additional toppings, but someone added ice cream and mini oreos and they made it look like a panda! It was so cute. The crepe does soggy as the custard sit right on the top, so it's best to eat it quickly. Overall it was goor and it's popular with teens and families.

I stopped by Millet Crepe and tried their tiramisu crepe, and it was a great dessert for any tiramisu lover. The crepe itself was light and delicate, and it had a piece of tiramisu on top that had strong flavors of coffee and cream. Each bite had a good balance of sweetness and was not too overwhelming, and my friend and I shared one that quickly disappeared. While the cream was not my favorite, I appreciate the many different and unique flavors that are available to try. Would love to try their matcha crepe in the future!

I kid yall not that I have wanted to try this place for like 5 years now. The time has finally come !!! I came after an event on a Friday and PHEW lemme tell ya, it was BUSY within the last hour of closing. Everyone and they babymomma was wanting a millet crepe before they closed for the night. You order on an iPad right outside the kitchen. No human interaction other than picking it up at the window. I ordered the animal one, a pig to be exact because I had also gotten my piggies done and it was a win win in my head. Either way, cant go wrong with nutella and vanilla ice cream, no sirrrrrrr. they will always be a match made in heaven. The crepe did stick to the inside of the paper which was annoying cause I looked like a savage trying to unstick it. Flavor 10/10. Texture was like a 8/10. I did end up going to the other location like a BIG BACK to try the OG creme brulee one. Parking is on the street, good luck! no restroom. there is some red seating next to the establishment.

My girlfriend and I finally built up the patience to fall in queue and see what's with all the hype. We had always seen extensive lines here after we'd get dinner in the area. We'd normally get Somi Somi for a sweet treat but wanted to give this spot a try. The line does move somewhat slow but omg the crepes are so worth it! Since our first visit, we have returned a few times. I love getting their Tiramisu and Matcha flavored custard crepe. I love that each other crepe flavor I've tried, none are ever overly sweet, and each is made with care! There's a mix match approach to how you want your dessert built but I normally order mine as it's listed on the menu for their classics. My father in law hates spending anything more than a couple bucks for a sweet treat, but happily makes the exception for Milet crepe and I 100% understand why. Theres not always a line, but if you see one formed at your time of visit don't get discouraged the reward is very delicious/unique. Can't wait to be back:)

I've been trying to get to this place for a few years now and I finally got to try it yesteday. I ordered the creme brulee since that seems to be the most popular. So glad I did! It was absolutely delicious. I did not make any modifications or do any add ons because I wanted to try it has is. They also pack it to go in case you do not want to eat there.....Limited benches/outside only. Service was fast. Once I ordered, my crepe came out in about 5 minutes. There is an iPad at the window for self ordering. I will definitely go back to the other items.

I took a couple of photos of the kitchen and cook inside, but the ordering kiosk is outside and someone calls your name to hand you your crepe. There is plenty of seating outside. The crepe was good! I got a matcha custard with matcha ice cream and strawberries. A little on the pricier side for the quantity!

I know this place has been around for so long and is a staple in Sawtelle, but I was a bit disappointed from my first experience with it. Luckily we joined the line when it was relatively manageable even on a weekday night. Maybe I chose the wrong flavor combos but I got the crème brûlée millet crepe with matcha ice cream and also mangos. It felt very heavy to me and I wasn't able to finish it by myself after a meal. Maybe it would've tasted better to me as a standalone snack. There was also maybe like 2 mango chunks that I found in my crepe. Not sure if I would try again unless the people I am with absolutely wanted to go.

There's almost always a long line. We walked by one day and noticed just a couple of people, so we jumped in and got a Creme Brulee Crepe. I'm a sucker for custard! This was delicious!

We got the crème brûlée crêpe with strawberry and cornflakes inside and it was delicious! Shared with my friend and the texture of the cornflakes was excellent. Millet is always a great go-to post dinner dessert! Will def return (and the line wasn't too bad on a Thursday night around...10?)

Came by around 7:45 on a Saturday, thankfully the line was short. The crepe was out within a few minutes. I had the passion fruit one which was amazing! It left me wanting more and sharing none. The perfect post dinner sweet treat not too heavy and not overbearingly sweet.

Had a great experience! It was our first time, my kiddo felt like crepes and honestly im not a crepe person per se, but we did a quick search and found this place. The crepes were beautiful and extremely delicious! My kiddo accidentally dropped theirs on the ground the second it was handed to them and the staff quickly made them a new one at no cost. The service was quick and very friendly. I highly recommend

Ask the Community - Millet Crepe

Are the custard cream made with pasteurized eggs?

I know for a fact they don't used pasteurized eggs. They definitely use chicken eggs!

    Do they have vegan crepes?

    Nope

Do you have gluten free crepes?

    No we don’t.

Can I order for delivery? I checked Grubhub, Uber eat and Postmates, none of them accepting order from your store.

we don’t do delivery or pick up orders online. we don’t have a capacity for that right now.

    Is parking hard to find?

Evenings after 6pm it can be kind of difficult. Otherwise no, there's usually available parking within a block or two. It's off a a Main Street with a lot of eateries around so it can get crowded weekends and evenings.

Are they still taking orders in person?

Yes, we are. we have a self-check out counter at the outside of the door and cashless transaction. we are open everyday 1pm-10pm.

What is the difference between creme brûlée crepe and custard crepe?

Both have custard filling, but only the creme brulee crepe has the flame-torched, caramelized sugar on top!

Do you open tomorrow, the 4th if July?

    Yes we do. 1pm - 10pm :)

Do they no longer work with Grub hub? That's what I used last time and it was a great option during COVID

What's the best flavor to get?

On top of that, the wait for our order was ridiculously long. What made the experience even more frustrating was that there was no restroom available for customers. We eventually found out there were public restrooms across from Dave's Hot Chicken, which would have been much more helpful to know from the beginning. To make matters worse, it was raining that day, so having to walk that far and search for a restroom made the whole experience even more outrageous. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place!

There always seems to be parking under the bridge nearby which isn't the best of places, but the meters don't work and parking is free on the street. I think we pretty much ordered the same as last year, but we were hungry after not eating all day at a volleyball tournament where prices are inflated with so-so food. The prices here are much more affordable at roughly $12-17 for entrees and soup was like $6-8... I didn't request a receipt and now forgot.. it was very affordable though. Service was friendly and my son remembered the same gentleman serving us last year both times too. I had the spinach feta pepper crepes and french onion soup. My son had the breakfast burrito and Royal Crepe. He was disappointed it didn't come with ice cream this time as it did in the past. Not sure if they were out or if that was a menu change, but he enjoyed it just the same. I noticed the same this time that the crepes are sweet for the spinach and feta, but I end up eating every single bite as they are really good, just seems sweet with items that typically go with salt. The french onion soup was so flavorful I didn't add the crackers and while not all oohey goohey cheese melted and dripping down the sides, it was something I wanted to finish before I got to my crepes. I could name several other places where this french onion soup outshines the competition, it was wonderful. We will be back again next year, same time and can't wait to come again!

I do not usually make the drive out to K-Town, but since tickets were only $10.20 per person, we figured it would be worth checking out. The space is completely transformed with different scenes from the show and there are plenty of photo ops whether you're a fan or just tagging along like I was. It definitely felt more immersive than I expected. The food and drinks are on the pricey side, so we shared a few items instead of each ordering our own: We tried the Monster Girl Matcha, which came in one of the collectible bottles ($20) my friend wanted. The drink itself was okay; not bad, but not my favorite matcha beverage. We also ordered the Invincible Power Wrap ($15), which tasted good but was honestly much smaller than I expected for the price. My favorite thing we tried was definitely Atom Eve's Energy Acai Bowl ($9). I love acai bowls and this one was refreshing with dragonfruit, strawberries, lychee, coconut flakes, and granola.
