First time at this Millet Crepe location in Little Tokyo as we normally frequent the Sawtelle location. It was nice to know they have one right in the heart of Little Tokyo. We visited on a weekday afternoon. This location is much bigger than the Sawtelle location as it has inside seating as well as a bench and table outside if you prefer. Both locations provide excellent customer service and very friendly employees. We opted in for our usual Creme Brûlée Crepe and Animal Crepe. As usual Millet Crepe does not disappoint. The Creme Brûlée Crepe is filled with rich custard and its yummy torched sugar crust. So good as always. The kids favorite is the Animal Bear Crepe with chocolate. Thank you Millet Crepes for satisfying our cravings.
This is one of my goat desert spots. I will never forget the first one I've ever had in Sawtelle. This spot in Little Tokyo does little to capture the same magic but the buds of beauty may yet bloom here again. I can just tell these were not made with the same love and care. You can feel it in the structural integrity of the crepe and the sad char of the crème brûlée on top. The phoenix shall rise once more.
I stopped by after visiting the last location because I realize I wanted to try the OG creme brulee crepe. I got something different at the last location. I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE creme brûlée. It's my top 3 desserts for sure so when I heard it was a combined world I had to see what was up. Ordered on the iPad inside. It came out in like 2 minutes. Super quick. That sugar crust oof. I love a good crust on a creme brûlée. Chefs kiss. But. The custard? Mmmm..... I don't think so. It's not as light and creamy as a typical creme brûlée. I kept tasting the custard alone for the flavor and I could get the egg flavor and maybe vanilla as well but the texture was def more uh.. thick? Not as smooth and creamy and a traditionally creme brûlée. There's spoons and napkins when you pick it up if you choose to eat it with a spoon or not. The location is on a plaza, the Apple Maps took us directly into the plaza so since it was already midnight we just parked on the plaza to quickly get this crepe lol. Otherwise standard street or garage parking in DTLA. No restroom.
After having lunch, my partner and I were craving something sweet. Stumbled upon this place and we are so glad that we got to try. Their custard is phenomenal and their crepes are so soft. My partner had the creme brulee crepe with vanilla ice cream and passionfruit and I had a crepe with vanilla ice cream with custard and a koala as strawberry ice-cream (see photo for reference) super good. Wish there was a location in the bay area that makes crepes and custard like this.

Was absolutely delicious and I liked the elevated crepe experience. The custard was yummy and the ice cream was refreshing on a hot day.
A cutesy little shop but there can be a long line sometimes! And I'm not sure if it's worth waiting more than 15-20minutes for, but the line does go by fast. The place itself is pretty small with a couple tables and also two outdoor tables, but it's also in Little Tokyo so you can always just walk around. We ordered the crème brûlée crepe of course,,, with nutella, strawberries and bananas! $10 for a little crepe thing is interesting but to be honest it's pretty filling!! And you can add icecream for free!! the creme brûlée is yummy and the custard is rich. I would come back but only if I'm craving another crepe, so probably not for a while. I think it's definitely worth trying at least once!
Very delicious cream brûlée crepes, they are delicious and perfect size, the cream is not super sweet also they serve this cone shape, really cool, the place is big and clean, they have 3 people in the back that makes the orders go fast, easy to find and I bet all the other crepes are also very good.
I visit every time I'm in LA! My favorite on a hot day is the crème brûlée crepe filled with ICE CREAM, banana, and strawberry. They put the ice cream beneath the crème brulee layer, and I don't know how it doesn't melt, but it's absolutely amazing. Such a unique desert of perfectly soft and light crepe, cream, fruits, ice cream, and a yummy, sugary fire-blown top.
Definitely not worth standing in a long line for this but obviously the animal/bear decoration ice cream is extremely cute and deserves a picture. They have a pretty big menu ranging from different crepes and ice cream combinations. My overall takeaway is that the ice cream was very good but the actual crepe is difficult to eat and not an ideal vehicle to hold said ice cream. By the time you make your way to the crepe it has also sogged out and it's just all too much sugar in my opinion. I likely won't return but if I did I'd just stick to the ice cream OR the crepe.

Originally, I was planning to order one of the Animal Crepes because they looked so cute but the moment I saw the Matcha Mochi Signature Crepe, my plans immediately changed haha. And I'm so glad they did! The matcha + mochi combo was phenomenal. Honestly, this flavor pairing deserves to be more normalized lol!! And with the crepe being soft and warm, it just made everything even better!! Such a delicious delight!!!! I will definitely be coming back
Cute little shop that serves up Japanese style crepes, ice cream, and drinks. I've had their best selling creme brulee crepes here years ago and this time got the matcha creme brulee. I wish they had made the batter mixed with matcha to really deliver the matcha flavor. I liked that custard was not too sweet or eggy. I got the rose milk tea for drinks. I sadly didn't like it, kind of tasted like medicine. Maybe the regular milk tea would have been better. Taking one star off because there is no restroom for customer.

I'm happy that Millet has this location rather than just the sawtelle location. This Little Tokyo location is a lot less crowded, & has indoor seating available. You order through an iPad & then they call your order by name on the other side of the counter. There are street meters & parking garages available nearby. It can just get difficult sometimes given how concentrated the area is. I would say the quality is very consistent to sawtelle's location. I always get the custom crepe w/ custard filling & strawberry toppings & it never does me wrong. I love!! read more

Pretty solid spot for sweet treat. The crepes here were one of my favorites compared to some other places. Opted for their matcha tiramisu crepe, and man was it sure delicious and satisfying. The moist, yet flavorful tiramisu was layered directly on top the crepe paired along with the matcha ice cream and a few surprises such as a singular piece of mini mochi. Self-ordering kiosks are available to reduce wait time on order preparation. The shop, itself, is a cozy little spot with both seating inside and outside to enjoy your sweet treat. Overall, great experience and crepes. Will be coming back when visiting the DTLA area! read more

Order the crème brûlée one. I went back and forth in choosing and eventually settled on this fan favorite and it is a favorite for a reason. The juxtaposition of flavors and textures were amazing. Somehow, the crunchy caramel made its way throughout the entire vertical and against the fluffy texture and Nutella, it was a perfect dessert. It's located in a cute area of Japantown surrounded by lots of fun, little shops. We ordered on the screens and the staff produced our order in less than 10 minutes. Easy eats crepes in Little Tokyo. Went for an after dinner dessert. Wasn't too busy when we came by. Ordered a crème brûlée crepe and a regular one, both with Nutella, bananas, and strawberries. The regular one was huge and definitely got a bit messy - was def filling though. The crème brûlée one looked delicious, but did have to dig a bit towards the bottom to get to the strawberries. Overall good times and a tasty treat. Will be back. read more
This dessert company is such a gold mine!!! I was so excited to see that there was a spot in Little Tokyo. I only knew of the one in Sawtelle, so it was super great to go to a more underrated spot (practically no line, compared to the other one I go to). The quality and craftsmanship of the millet crepe is still very great. The ice cream was super yummy and paired with the thick and fluffy crepe so well. This is a dessert you can't find super often in other places so I can't help but get this sweet treat!!! PS I recommend the animal crepe because it is so adorable!! I got the panda/bear looking one and the oreos were medium-sized and added a great crunch to the textures of the dessert. read more

The creme brulee crepe - it's fantastic. Served rolled up in a cone shape, it is filled with a deliciously light custard, then dipped in sugar and torched to create a perfect creme brulee hard sugar crack top. I wasn't really sure how to eat it once I ate the top part and got down to the wrapper - it was a little messy. The establishment itself is no frills and no personality. Very small shop with limited seating. You order at a kiosk and the employees don't acknowledge the customer, other than to give you the food. It also moved at a snail's pace on my visit. Only 2 people ahead of me and I waited a solid 10 minutes. However, it's worth the trip to try the creme brulee crepe! read more

millet crepe is sooo good! i discovered them on tik tok & was so intrigued by their crème brûlée crepe that i had to come try them out! it is located in little Tokyo & when i went during the weekend they were having a little vendors market outside. paid parking is near by. the line was pretty long outside the door but it was moving pretty quick. i didn't wait too long. when you arrive at the counter you have use the kiosk to place your order then you put in your name so they can call out your name when your order is ready. good amount of seating options. it's pretty small establishment but it wasnt too bad. the wait for my crepe wasn't bad at all. i got their crème brûlée crepe and it was soo good! i most definitely want to try their matcha crème brûlée next time! read more
I've been around Little Tokyo for quite some years and I've never noticed this location before. You can find parking on 2nd street and walk the rest of the way. Just a forewarning, that parking lot on 2nd street right next to this location smells like piss. There are a few tables and chairs just outside the venue and a few on the inside. However, it feels like there wasn't much air flow because it was really stuffy when I went inside. There is a self kiosk to place your order. The crepes were made before hand, so it wasn't as fresh as it could be. They were more chewy than crispy. I ordered the creme Brule one and it was sweet, but the crepe kind of blew it for me. Freaking delicious! No wonder this place always has a long line! You order through an iPad, and it moves fairly quickly. The crêpe itself is so delicious and made fresh. You can watch them making what you ordered. Obviously they're custard is amazing, and so is their crème brûlée. Luckily when we went, it was pretty empty, so the weight wasn't too bad. They're seating inside as well as outdoors. read more
I feel like this crepe shop is so underrated in Little Tokyo compared to all the other nearby dessert shops. It is a very small store with a couple of tables inside and outside. There is a self-order kiosk indoors, which makes this place really quick and convenient for grabbing a crepe. My lovely husband and I ordered the signature creme brulee crepe filled with matcha tiramisu to share. It only took around 5 minutes for our order to come out, which was surprisingly fast. When we received our crepe, we could tell that it was very well put together - served wrapped into a paper cone and felt very sturdy to avoid any messes. It was clear that the crepe was freshly made to order with everything made in-house. There were some pieces of chewy mochi in the tiramisu, which was absolutely delicious. We loved the mix of flavors from the matcha and custard cream filling. The torched sugar from the creme brulee was the cherry on top. This crepe was the perfect combination of sweet and savory. Plenty of different parking lots and structures are in the surrounding area, but you will most likely have to pay for parking unless you park somewhere with free validation. The other option is metered parking on the street, which is not as available. Millet Crepe is very much one of my favorite crepe shops around Los Angeles. I am so ecstatic that they opened up this second location. My husband and I will most definitely be coming back to taste more of the yummy and mouthwatering crepes. read more

AMAZING CREME BRÛLÉE CONE/CREPES! HOWEVER STAFF NEEDS A BIT OF WORK! Food: 5/5 The creme brûlée cones are to die for! They're creamy yet thick but not overly thick; They're not sweet but not in an underwhelming way where it feels like you want to add sugar. They have really perfected the texture and sweet level! The outside is a great texture, it does get a little spongy and quickly but still doable! I added rose whipped cream + nuts and it was delicious! Price: 4/5 They're $10.00 a cone, and all things considered it's worth every penny. You can add a few things for no extra charge which is nice. You also get to watch them make it and that is nice as well. The price is worth the small show and slightly sweet treat. Staff: 3.5/5 Kind of like everyone Is saying......the staff here definitely needs some upgrading or retraining. They weren't polite, very bothered, and not one of the men smiled. They looked miserable if I'm being honest lol and that kind of dampers the experience. All around:4.5 / 5. I will come back again! Hopefully with much nicer workers :) read more

The crème brûlée cone was my absolute favorite -- creamy, rich, with that perfect caramelized crunch on top that makes every bite feel special. It's one of those desserts you don't want to share! The shop has a cozy vibe that makes it easy to just relax and enjoy something sweet. You can tell they really care about the quality of their treats. Everything feels fresh, delicate, and beautifully put together. If you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth with something unique and totally delicious, this is the place. Was craving something sweet after my lunch so I stopped by and got myself a cream brulee crepe with strawberry and custard filling. Was sooooo good. I didn't think i could finish the whole thing but i definitely did lol. The ordering system is easy it's on a tablet. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the crepe. Inside was a little, meh and I wish they had public bathrooms haha. read more

This coffee shop was such a pleasant surprise. The main reason I came was to try their rolled pancake cones, and they were honestly incredible -- warm, fresh, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The texture alone makes them worth coming back for. The coffee paired really well with the desserts, and the whole place has a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to relax for a bit. Everything also looked beautifully presented, which made the experience feel even more special. It's one of those spots that feels both unique and comforting at the same time. Definitely a great place if you want coffee and something sweet that's a little different from the usual pastries. read more
By far the best crepe I've ever had. Located in Little Tokyo, this little shop is pretty hidden amongst all the shops in the main parts of Little Tokyo. It's a small shop with some interior seating & exterior seating. There's many options including the classic signature. Parking can be all around Little Tokyo, all paid parking, so best to decide the walking distance, price, and space for any parking in/around Little Tokyo. Staff is pretty quick with the order, although no staff interactions really required as ordering is just on a self served kiosk. My wife and I got the signature creme brulee but with matcha. The portions for one crepe is sufficient enough to share between 1 other person. The crepe is filled with creme brulee on top, matcha mixed inside with custard as the filling. There was also some kind of coffee type filling as you move down the crepe, a nice surprise to add to the sweetness of the crepe. The taste of the matcha in the crepe made it tea-like, very floral but also very sweet, perfect bite for after a nice meal. read more
I enjoyed my Creme Brulee crepe. I ordered it with Nutella, strawberry fruit, and strawberry ice cream. It tasted great! It had a nice crunch from the brittle crunchy top layer and it was nice and sweet on the inside of the rolled crepe. There was a line out the door and had to wait for our order. This place hits every time I'm craving a sweet treat! We got the Matcha Creme Brulee, Strawberry Tiramisu, and Matcha Tiramisu, all with ice cream inside. The matcha creme brulee was definitely our favorite with a strong creamy matcha flavor! We got the Apple cinnamon filling for one of the crepes and it is definitely a must try. read more
Had millet crepe a couple of times in Sawtelle & it's definitely an indulgent treat. However the little Tokyo location disappointed me a bit. The service was a 0/5, both employees were unfriendly and not talkative at all, didn't even say hello. The ambiance is packed and pretty busy, but it came out fast. The creme brulee crepe w/ strawberries wasn't as good as the other locations, the filling wasn't that full. I liked the addition of strawberries though. I was having dinner in the area, and this crepe place looked decent so decided to give it a try! I love all things creme brulee, so I had to give the creme brulee crepe a try. You order via a tablet, which makes it super easy to choose your toppings and add ons. We got the crepe with ice cream, cornflakes, and Nutella. I loved all the toppings, and it was a nice sweet treat. The crepe breading itself was kinda soggy and a little too thick for my liking, but the toppings made up for it. read more
