My husband found this cute spot after we just finished dining at the Cheesecake Factory. When we walked in it gave me such a European vibe. Calm, quiet, 2 men were playing speed chess in a corner. This is definitely a spot you come to relax grab a crepe and enjoy your afternoon at. We got a sweet crepe, definitely delicious filled with strawberries and bananas topped with Nutella, powder sugar and ice cream. Our service was quick and the lady at the front who took our order helped us with our selection. Our crepe came out within 10 minutes as well. My first experience was positive and I absolutely LOVED their outdoor patio. It reminded me of the little town in Hungary my dad grew up in where shops were all quiet and cute with patio dining that were surrounded by plants. Would not recommend. Not horrible but definitely not good. I feel like the only thing going for it is a wide selection. The place is a bit kitschy and not in a good way. You walk up and order at the counter and then sit for the worker to bring your crepes out. There was only 1 worker at the time, luckily we were the only ones in, so it took a little while to bring out our crepes (understandably) yet not a one was warm. Every single crepe somehow both crunchy in parts and extremely chewy so I'm assuming the batter was overmixed and then overcooked. Nothing tasted particularly fresh, not to say it tasted old, more so neutral, and the fruits were skimpy with more toppings than stuffed. I really enjoyed my time at Crepes de Paris. Is it as authentic as a Parisian cafe? No, but the service is a thousand times better in Pasadena. I sat in the outdoor patio space which was lovely, I would have just liked a little more privacy from the pedestrians walking by. There's a green fence where pedestrians pass through looking in, maybe some more greenery there or screens to make the space feel more private. There's salmon crepe was exceptional, and very filling. I really wanted to like this place, but my first visit left me disappointed. The food was okay--not bad, but not great either. The highlight for me was the coffee, which I actually enjoyed a lot. The atmosphere was just okay as well. There was a fly buzzing around our table, which was distracting. Since the door was left open, flies were coming in and out, and that was a little annoying. On top of that, the service was not great. Our food took about 50 minutes to come out, which feels too long for a café. Storytime...I was craving crepes for a while and found some individually wrapped ones at Costco. Costco typically has snacks that smack but what I purchased was nasty af. So, we had to rectify that and off to Crepes de Paris I went on a Sunday afternoon. It was my first time there so I asked Francine what coffee she recommended. She said the vanilla latte was her fave and when I proceeded to tell her I like my lattes on the sweeter side, she recommended some condensed milk. I have to say, that was the best vanilla latte I have ever had. Go ahead and add some condensed milk to your latte - it's a game changer. Now for the crepe...I went with the most plain option as I really just like the crepe without adding too much to it. I had the Light 'n Yummy with butter, powdered sugar and cinnamon. I figured that the cinnamon would just be a sprinkle but no, the crepe contains a lot of cinnamon. So, next time I know to omit the cinnamon. I think it would have been perfect had it just had the butter and powdered sugar. Was it the best crepe ever? No, but it's hard to beat a crepe in Paris. Also, the over abundance of cinnamon detracted from the flavor. But, the latte's perfection made up for what the crepe was lacking. So, this place gets a it satisfied my crepe craving and outdid itself with the vanilla latte. Make sure you ask for Francine to make you the latte, maybe it was her personal touch and not the condensed milk. Parking is fairly easy as there's metered parking everywhere and there's also a lot on Green. Parking is not free on the street on weekends. read more

We came on the hurricane hilary day and they were open! We found parking on the same street and paid using the app. It wasn't crowded and had plenty of tables for us to choose from. Ordered the french onion soup and Royal Crepe (nutella, strawberries, and banana). They have water out for you to get whenever you need. They prefer cash and I happened to have cash! There is outside seating but obviously it wasn't available due to the rain. We had a lovely time reading, doing sudoku, and people watching while listening to French music play inside the restaurant. The soup was good but the cheese was not melted correctly (minor detail). The crepe was also good (just not mind blowing or extra delicious). This crepe spot is amazing! I have been wanting to come in now for a while and today out of all days was my lucky day, great service and quality is fresh! The server recommended the royal but I opted on the banana due to allergy... the server (Daniella) was so accommodating and welcoming. She evidently loves her job and cares so much for her guests! Do not eat here. Not only is the food bad, but they are liars and crooks. I went there, desperate for some food after a long event, and ordered a crepe with no cream sauce. I asked them to add spinach and was charged for it. My crepe came smothered in thick disgusting sauce. I was so hungry, that I tried to just deal with it - to eat the crepe and avoid the sauce, but found it was impossible. I brought it back and asked for my money back. To their credit, they offered to make it again, but I had no time for that. They had left me outside, waiting and waiting, only for me to find out it was already ready - so I had no more time to wait. I was promised a refund. And it has yet to come (almost 2 weeks later). I've called and called - it's just not going to happen. It's NOT about the money - which is not a lot - it's the principle of the matter. Would you want to pay for something that was prepared incorrectly, that you didn't eat and that made you throw up? Yes, I threw up the little bit I'd eaten as I walked to my car (and I very rarely barf!). STAY AWAY. Oh, and btw, don't miss the Google review showing how there was a COCKROACH IN THE CREPE! Wish I'd seen that before taking a single bite. I've felt unwell since I took those bites and now I'm not surprised. This place needs to be reported to the health department! read more
