AMAZING!! the service is top notch, and the food is delicious and filling! prices are good... wonderful sunday brunch. natalie was wonderful! checking up on us often and always being accommodating. the food was immaculate! i got the to your health crepe and my mom got the crepe madame. our food came out quick and was delicious! we wanted to go to broken yolk but the wait was long so we found this wonderful crepe place on yelp! there's a ton of yummy brunch places in the area. the service definitely shines here. really, do come! it's so great in many ways. our server natalie suggested us either a strawberry or dragonfruit mimosa since they're seasonal and not on the menu... amazing!! loved my dragonfruit mimosa. defintely stop in for breakfast, it's a delight!

I have now been to La Creperie Cafe twice, so it is time to review! I am so happy about this establishment having opened because I really like them! I love the crepes, and am happy I won't have to drive to Sierra Madre for good crepes now that I have them here. For the savory crepes, I have ordered the Zorba both times I have been there, and have tried the Curry because someone else ordered it. I absolutely loved both! The Zorba has an amazing tomato sauce that I really want to have on a pasta or something, lol. The Curry crepe is also fantastic, but unfortunately, I won't be ordering that because I am trying to eat vegetarian... actually, I wish they had a tofu or veggie version of this! For the sweet crepes, I have only had the napoleon, and it was great! I loved that creme brulee they put in it, such a nice touch! The service is also great! The people working there are so nice, and the gentleman that has helped me twice even calls us "family," not necessary, but a nice touch! Anyway, I hope they do well because I really want them to stick around. I think they opened during the pandemic, so that has to be hard. Keep up the good work though!

Always a good spot for breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or dinner. Delicious food as always and George is always taking care of everyone with his great character. I had the steak omelette with extra beef, the other dish is Crepe Carbonara and for dessert we had the Martinique. Highly highly recommended! For the ambiance they have a French Bohemian style decor with French music in the background. Nice wine list as well. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day!

I've been back twice and they are never open. So either this place closed or they need to update their hours. Called and it's always the vm.

Well this is our second time here at this restaurant. To be honest with you, the first time was questionable, and usually, we don't go a 2nd round. However, I talked to my husband to try it again. We are both happy we did. The pictures below says it all. This meal and service were right on point. The reason I did t give the a 5 star was the first time we felt rushed because they were closing in 1.5 after we arrived. Please note: this time we arrived earlier and no customers were at the restaurant but us. I would say call prior because they close when they want to. Meaning we witnessed 2 couples, were told by the establishment they were closing at 2pm when the clearly website states 3pm,yet the sign on the door is blank.lol. This Foodie blog person will continue to keep you posted on this establishment.

I drive by this place often and never thought much of it, but that was a huge mistake on my part! This comfortable, cozy, local restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I've currently been there twice and I wasn't disappointed. The first time, I ordered one of their egg crepes. Phenomenal! I got my eggs sunnyside up and they were cooked perfectly. The yolk was runny, the cheese was gooey, and the flavor was top notch! Well worth the money. The second time, I ordered the southwest crepe. The balance between the avocado, salsa, and tomatoes was perfect; which left me craving more, but I was far too full. For drinks, I had the iced tea and the second time, the cappuccino. The ice tea was fresh, and wasn't that cheap Lipton most places serve. The cappuccino was fluffy, warm, but not too hot It's where I can drink it almost immediately. The staff are friendly, and very welcoming. The atmosphere is also very comforting. I often enjoy Cafe Doodling, and the staff were very open to letting me just relax, eat, and draw. Overall, I highly recommend!

I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's a hidden gem in La Verne. Food is fresh and fabulous. Drinks are amazing Do yourself a favor and try it. I promise you won't be disappointed The staff and owner George treat you like royalty

Quiche with salad & fries for brunch. Delicious!
    Anna S.

I like when I get to brunch with new breakfast menus. I prefer a savory breakfast so I chose a plate with a little of everything: quiche, salad, & pomme frites = fries. We went in right when the place opened at 9 am. A little hard to find. Between the bagel place & acai bowl. An entire building of brunch options. I know quiche can be dense but the salad helps cut through the dense egg and the fries of course adds to the flavors. Three of us ordered the quiche dish. We cleared our plates. The place is also much bigger inside with a private room available. There was only one person serving but I noticed the manager helping out & one or two guys making everything fresh. Highly recommend it & the menu is diverse. Lots more things to try for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Came here to celebrate my 4 yr wedding anniversary with after dinner drinks and dessert. Loved the outdoor seating area especially during these hot summers evenings as it provided an intimate setting. We ordered the sangria and Moscow mule. These were fantastic, refreshing and quite strong! I especially enjoyed fresh fruit that accompanied in the sangria. Our server, Antonio, highly recommended the apple pain perdu and everyone should listen to him! It is quite unique since it was sort of a bread pudding and warm with apples and topped with ice cream and whip cream. It was a winner and great service too! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

My friend and I happened come here because Sal's and Bowl of Heaven was closed. We've never been here so we decided to drop in and try it out. The workers were super friendly and atmosphere was nice overall. I had the breakfast burrito. It was a standard breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, cheese, avocado and tots. It wasn't super tasty but it wasn't bad. I think there could've been more seasoning thrown in there. The fruit seemed like it was frozen and then defrosted and put in a bowl. I wouldn't make my way from Glendora to La Verne to come eat here but I wouldn't oppose it if my friend wanted to come back because I would just try something else.

I always pass by and never noticed this place. I haven't had crepes in a long time, but I have to say the dishes were divine. All those flavors coming through, my tastebuds were drowning in such chaotic bliss. Oh I'm coming back for sure. D diddly delighted!

This is going to become the hottest spot in LA VERNE! Used to always go to the location in Long Beach so when I found out they opened one closer to where I live I was super exited to try it! We tried a few items and it's just as great as I remember!! The place looks cool and im sure once it's finished it will have a great vibe! Ashley the server was awesome, and George gave some great recommendations. Definitely recommend to check it out!

Paired with a smooth Malbec, it all came together effortlessly. But honestly, the best part of the night wasn't just the food or the wine. it was the company. We sat outside to enjoy the weather. I ordered the chicken and mushroom quiche. Wow! Highly recommend. Good consistency that is not a wet "eggy" texture, but cooke through with that cheese YUM! I opted for their side salad. Honestly, I can eat an entire quiche pie and a giant bowl of the salad. I really enjoyed it. My friend had a chicken sandwich (not sure which one) on a baguette. We were talking so much I didn't ask which sandwich it was but I ate 1/2 of it enjoying every bite. Savory crepes of nutella with strawberries, blueberries and banana was yummy as expected. I thought the iced coffees were average. I was thinking to get a mimosa or something next time. I am definitely coming back for more to try other items on the menu! Service was good. The iconic crêpe isn't much of you think about it but the execution of what it should be isn't as easy as most people think. The food here at Monsieur Crêpe is done and executed well. It is very reminiscent of what I expect from a crêpe. Having travelled to the iconic city of lights on numerous occasions, I can easily say that what is served here is done very nicely, unlike an elitist Yelper stated. I had the gluten free option for my Normandie and it was executed well. Again, if you expect a crêpe to be packed up like a burrito, go get a burrito instead! A loaded crêpe is not iconic just for your information. Also had the Crêpe Suzette and the elasticity of the crêpe is what you would expect. French Onion Soup was excellent according to my brother, not salty, but flavorful. My brother also had the omelette with ham and brie. He did enjoy it and commented that the brie should have been melted a bit more but was good nonetheless. Service was great, I don't understand how you measure what takes long for food unless you are that busy and impatient like the women that sat next to us. If you've been to Europe, you will know that they are not in a rush like us here in America, but what do I know, I'm not a Yelp Elite LOL!

My gf preferred a stronger onion flavor but I found it fine. - Branzino et Ratatouille (4.5/5): Perfectly cooked fish, with distinct aromas from the vegetables and spices. The skin was crispy, but it would have been nicer if it was evenly crispy. Overall very flavorful and a good lighter dish option than the steak frites - Steak Frites (5/5): Ordered this medium rare and was not disappointed. Perfectly cooked and super juicy. However, I'm sure this restaurant will do fine, as it has been a part of Pasadena for so long. We had a reservation for 7:30pm, and we were seated in the back of the restaurant. I didn't even know they had a back room, as last time we sat in the front. All of the dishes tonight were shared, except for the drink. I had the White Lotus drink, which was very similar to an Aperol Spritz. We shared the Pork Meatballs. These were 5 out of 5. They were so tasty, dense, large and the sauce and spice were perfect. We then shared the Mushroom Gnocchi. This is exactly how it sounds; however, I felt it was definitely lacking flavor, and would give it a 4 out of 5. We then moved on to the main course, which was the Pork Chop with an Apricot Sauce and a herb salad with fruit. I would give this dish a 5 out of 5, excellent. We ended the meal with the Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble. This was kind of the disappointment of the meal. It wasn't bad; however, it was not a crumble; we didn't taste any strawberry or rhubarb. The ice cream on the top was the highlight of this dish. It would get a 2 out of 5. Our server was very nice; however, a little rushed at times, especially during the early part of our service when the restaurant was nearly to capacity. Overall, a good to great visit. I would still return again in the future.

We ended up staying until about 9:30 p.m. and never felt rushed or pressured to order more. The staff was very friendly and made excellent recommendations, especially considering we were a bit picky -- one vegetarian, one pescatarian, and the other only likes dessert wines!! Definitely coming back with less picky people

Waiter Manuel. This…read moreis a review reflected on you, solely. Being kind is the moral of the story, from the beginning you were passive agressive with your comments and tone. Being in a party of 4 girls coming from high tea, we were dressed in elegant dresses, first comment was asking if we were coming from church, followed by eye flutters, short "okay" with an upward inflation to a joke about the day, an impatient comment about hurrying up and trying the wine while we were talking, asked for water when we were out, were left to pour the rest of our wine, didn't ask how the food was all the while was attentive to the table behind us, the cherry on top comment was when we were discussing the bill at the end, he was hovering at the table behind ours, then when we were ready, we asked to split the bill into 2, my portion on mine and the rest on another card, he then said "this isn't like a drive through, we can't do it that way" so I asked him to explain his comment, cause it was passive agressive and rude. After he wasnt able to becuase he wasnt expecting me to call out his rude comment, I had to then break it down and specify what I had ordered, he then sold "okayyyy....so how much, cause we don't itemize?" I had to again express for him to specify how they do it cause he has still yet to explain where his attitude is coming from and explain how they do their check splits, from my understanding it just felt like he wanted to play dumb and make me to the math, one I did he was like "ohh, okay" should have asked for the manager but we paid and left, I hasnt had this experience before being a returning customer, but he needs an attitude adjustment as his attitude was completely out of pocket. Do better Manuel, you alone got your place of work a 1 star. The rest of the staff was kind, facility beautiful and food and wine was good. This restaurant is not reflected in the 1 star.
