AMAZING!! the service is top notch, and the food is delicious and filling! prices are good... wonderful sunday brunch. natalie was wonderful! checking up on us often and always being accommodating. the food was immaculate! i got the to your health crepe and my mom got the crepe madame. our food came out quick and was delicious! we wanted to go to broken yolk but the wait was long so we found this wonderful crepe place on yelp! there's a ton of yummy brunch places in the area. the service definitely shines here. really, do come! it's so great in many ways. our server natalie suggested us either a strawberry or dragonfruit mimosa since they're seasonal and not on the menu... amazing!! loved my dragonfruit mimosa. defintely stop in for breakfast, it's a delight!

Well this is our second time here at this restaurant. To be honest with you, the first time was questionable, and usually, we don't go a 2nd round. However, I talked to my husband to try it again. We are both happy we did. The pictures below says it all. This meal and service were right on point. The reason I did t give the a 5 star was the first time we felt rushed because they were closing in 1.5 after we arrived. Please note: this time we arrived earlier and no customers were at the restaurant but us. I would say call prior because they close when they want to. Meaning we witnessed 2 couples, were told by the establishment they were closing at 2pm when the clearly website states 3pm,yet the sign on the door is blank.lol. This Foodie blog person will continue to keep you posted on this establishment.

I have now been to La Creperie Cafe twice, so it is time to review! I am so happy about this establishment having opened because I really like them! I love the crepes, and am happy I won't have to drive to Sierra Madre for good crepes now that I have them here. For the savory crepes, I have ordered the Zorba both times I have been there, and have tried the Curry because someone else ordered it. I absolutely loved both! The Zorba has an amazing tomato sauce that I really want to have on a pasta or something, lol. The Curry crepe is also fantastic, but unfortunately, I won't be ordering that because I am trying to eat vegetarian... actually, I wish they had a tofu or veggie version of this! For the sweet crepes, I have only had the napoleon, and it was great! I loved that creme brulee they put in it, such a nice touch! The service is also great! The people working there are so nice, and the gentleman that has helped me twice even calls us "family," not necessary, but a nice touch! Anyway, I hope they do well because I really want them to stick around. I think they opened during the pandemic, so that has to be hard. Keep up the good work though!

Always a good spot for breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or dinner. Delicious food as always and George is always taking care of everyone with his great character. I had the steak omelette with extra beef, the other dish is Crepe Carbonara and for dessert we had the Martinique. Highly highly recommended! For the ambiance they have a French Bohemian style decor with French music in the background. Nice wine list as well. We sat outside because it was a beautiful day!

I've been back twice and they are never open. So either this place closed or they need to update their hours. Called and it's always the vm.

I drive by this place often and never thought much of it, but that was a huge mistake on my part! This comfortable, cozy, local restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I've currently been there twice and I wasn't disappointed. The first time, I ordered one of their egg crepes. Phenomenal! I got my eggs sunnyside up and they were cooked perfectly. The yolk was runny, the cheese was gooey, and the flavor was top notch! Well worth the money. The second time, I ordered the southwest crepe. The balance between the avocado, salsa, and tomatoes was perfect; which left me craving more, but I was far too full. For drinks, I had the iced tea and the second time, the cappuccino. The ice tea was fresh, and wasn't that cheap Lipton most places serve. The cappuccino was fluffy, warm, but not too hot It's where I can drink it almost immediately. The staff are friendly, and very welcoming. The atmosphere is also very comforting. I often enjoy Cafe Doodling, and the staff were very open to letting me just relax, eat, and draw. Overall, I highly recommend!

Quiche with salad & fries for brunch. Delicious!

I like when I get to brunch with new breakfast menus. I prefer a savory breakfast so I chose a plate with a little of everything: quiche, salad, & pomme frites = fries. We went in right when the place opened at 9 am. A little hard to find. Between the bagel place & acai bowl. An entire building of brunch options. I know quiche can be dense but the salad helps cut through the dense egg and the fries of course adds to the flavors. Three of us ordered the quiche dish. We cleared our plates. The place is also much bigger inside with a private room available. There was only one person serving but I noticed the manager helping out & one or two guys making everything fresh. Highly recommend it & the menu is diverse. Lots more things to try for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Came here to celebrate my 4 yr wedding anniversary with after dinner drinks and dessert. Loved the outdoor seating area especially during these hot summers evenings as it provided an intimate setting. We ordered the sangria and Moscow mule. These were fantastic, refreshing and quite strong! I especially enjoyed fresh fruit that accompanied in the sangria. Our server, Antonio, highly recommended the apple pain perdu and everyone should listen to him! It is quite unique since it was sort of a bread pudding and warm with apples and topped with ice cream and whip cream. It was a winner and great service too! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

My friend and I happened come here because Sal's and Bowl of Heaven was closed. We've never been here so we decided to drop in and try it out. The workers were super friendly and atmosphere was nice overall. I had the breakfast burrito. It was a standard breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, cheese, avocado and tots. It wasn't super tasty but it wasn't bad. I think there could've been more seasoning thrown in there. The fruit seemed like it was frozen and then defrosted and put in a bowl. I wouldn't make my way from Glendora to La Verne to come eat here but I wouldn't oppose it if my friend wanted to come back because I would just try something else.

I always pass by and never noticed this place. I haven't had crepes in a long time, but I have to say the dishes were divine. All those flavors coming through, my tastebuds were drowning in such chaotic bliss. Oh I'm coming back for sure. D diddly delighted!

This is going to become the hottest spot in LA VERNE! Used to always go to the location in Long Beach so when I found out they opened one closer to where I live I was super exited to try it! We tried a few items and it's just as great as I remember!! The place looks cool and im sure once it's finished it will have a great vibe! Ashley the server was awesome, and George gave some great recommendations. Definitely recommend to check it out!

The escargot is probably the best I've had. I loved how buttery it was and the snail itself was so fresh and tender. I'd definitely repurchase this on another visit. I even dipped some of the baguette bread (which had the best crunch!) into the butter and it was perfection! For our mains, we got the sea bass with lentils and the Alaskan halibut, and both were prepared perfectly down to taste and texture. Everything about its execution felt very intentional. The halibut was baked with the right amount of breading and the sea bass was pan seared to give that nice crispy texture to the skin. My only critique is I thought the lentils were a bit too overpowering because of the huge quantity, but honestly, everything else was amazing enough that I'm not bothered by it.

They still have indoor and outdoor seating. Near open on a weekend, they were not very busy and it was quiet like on our last visit. The lady who took care of us sad that she is the sister of the owners. She was super nice and very attentive. We got the quiche Lorraine and a banana-Nutella crepe again. The crepe had consistently good quality compared to our last visit and is still just as good to comparable crepe places. Still not many places make quiche and of those that do, even fewer make the dense and thick slice pie style MCC makes--which is the good and high quality type. The quiche was actually better than our last visit and while we do not know, it still seeks like they make it on site. You still need lactaide to eat if u r intolerant, but it's definitely worth it. Recommend you get fruit instead of salad with it. Since their food is so rich/caloric/comfort food, we cannot come here too often, but when you are in the mood for a treat, this is a great place to go! Definitely recommend to give them a try!

I've been meaning to try their crepes for the longest time and luckily, I finally found the chance to dine in. I ordered the La Opera breakfast crepe, which came filled with eggs, cheese, onions, and avocado. It had the perfect balance of textures and flavors, with the thin crispy edged crepe cradling the savory filling. I loved how the richness of the eggs, cheese, onions, and avocado all complemented the delicate buttery taste of the crepe shell. All in all, Monsieur Crepe Cafe is a hidden gem and everything they make is fantastic. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. I first brought her here when she was just a few months old. Now she's preparing for college. Walking inside feels like stepping into a cozy neighborhood French bistro. White tablecloths, soft neutral tones, chandeliers, and fresh floral centerpieces create a calming and elegant atmosphere. Let's talk about the prices. The menu is still the same, but the prices have increased quite a bit in just a matter of months. If you haven't been here in a while, take a look at the menu before you return so you don't get sticker shock. To me, some dishes is double what I remember paying. At the same time, the portions are a little smaller. One thing to keep in mind: La Vie is only open for dinner, from 5:00 PM. to 9:00 PM. I also highly recommend making a reservation. The dining room fills up quickly, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, so planning ahead will save you the long wait or perhaps being sent away. Dinner time. Every entrée comes with a house salad, soup of the day, and complimentary coffee or hot tea. As I order hot tea everywhere I eat, that little perk is heaven. For our appetizer, we shared the Escargots de Bourgogne ($19). The escargot was fresh, tender, and chewy. Every piece soaked up the garlicky herb butter. They also provide complimentary Vietnamese baguette. The baguette arrives warm with a lightly crisp crust and a soft, fluffy interior. But the real magic is dipping it into the bubbling garlic butter from the escargot. For my entrée, I ordered the Herb Butter Lobster Tail ($56). The presentation was beautiful, but the lobster itself didn't quite live up to the presentation. It was bland. My daughter ordered the Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass ($46), and that ended up being the star of the evening. She loved it. The skin was crisp while the fish remained moist, flaky, and buttery. For dessert, we ordered the Crème Caramel (Flan). The server told us the chef offered it on the house due to presentation reasons. But I strongly believe it was because when they asked if my daughter and I were new customers, since they had changed owners, I told them I had been coming to this restaurant for over two decades, and that I brought my daughter here when she was still in a stroller. The owners may have changed, but I believe the chef is the same and he probably recognized me. Either way, it was a great treat. Thank you. The flan was silky smooth, creamy, and topped with a rich caramel sauce that wasn't too sweet. The servers have always been attentive, professional, and welcoming. Our dinner for two came to about $160, including tax and a 20% tip. See you in my next Yelp adventure.

Being in a party of 4 girls coming from high tea, we were dressed in elegant dresses, first comment was asking if we were coming from church, followed by eye flutters, short "okay" with an upward inflation to a joke about the day, an impatient comment about hurrying up and trying the wine while we were talking, asked for water when we were out, were left to pour the rest of our wine, didn't ask how the food was all the while was attentive to the table behind us, the cherry on top comment was when we were discussing the bill at the end, he was hovering at the table behind ours, then when we were ready, we asked to split the bill into 2, my portion on mine and the rest on another card, he then said "this isn't like a drive through, we can't do it that way" so I asked him to explain his comment, cause it was passive agressive and rude. After he wasnt able to becuase he wasnt expecting me to call out his rude comment, I had to then break it down and specify what I had ordered, he then sold "okayyyy....so how much, cause we don't itemize?" I had to again express for him to specify how they do it cause he has still yet to explain where his attitude is coming from and explain how they do their check splits, from my understanding it just felt like he wanted to play dumb and make me to the math, one I did he was like "ohh, okay" should have asked for the manager but we paid and left, I hasnt had this experience before being a returning customer, but he needs an attitude adjustment as his attitude was completely out of pocket. Do better Manuel, you alone got your place of work a 1 star. The rest of the staff was kind, facility beautiful and food and wine was good. This restaurant is not reflected in the 1 star.
