I came here for dinner with a party of 4, and someone else in our group had selected this restaurant and was picking up the tab, so I can't comment on the final check. I didn't read any of the reviews of LPM before coming here, but now that I'm reading through some of them as I draft mine, I can honestly say I don't understand the hype or how/why this place has garnered so many 5 star reviews based on my own experience. I note that many of the highest rated reviews are nearly a decade old, so maybe LPM used to be better back in the day? We arrived just ahead of our reservation and were seated right away. Service wasn't terribly attentive, yet we also felt rushed at times. Our server explained a bit about the menu and when we said we'd planned to order a bottle of wine and one of the guys in our party was perusing the wine list, the waiter more or less insisted he was sending the sommelier to make a recommendation, rather than asking if we'd like him to send the sommelier. When indicating we just wanted a decent mid-priced red, their wine expert recommended a $170 bottle which ended up being good, but not at all worthy of that pricepoint. We felt rushed to order our meals after they visited twice to ask if we'd made our selections, though we were clearly more interested in chatting for a bit before seriously looking at the menu. Later, shortly after we'd been given bread they cleared our plates along with bread slices we'd just been given, saying our meals were nearly ready - yet they weren't delivered for several more minutes. It was explained to us that most people order several dishes which are brought to the table as they're prepared, but on this night we all ordered from the Miami Spice menu as each of us saw items listed there we were interested in but also, since we were being prompted repeatedly to make our selections, it was just faster to order from that simplified menu. When they brought each of our Miami Spice courses - salads, entrees and deserts, they sat them in the center of the table as if we were expected to divide and share them. Each time they brought a course we each took the plates we'd ordered and only ate what we'd selected, but the staff didn't take the hint and still just sat everything in the middle of the table when they'd bring our food. I must say everything I ate was well-prepared and flavorful, though the portions weren't very large (which is sometimes to be expected when ordering the Miami Spice offering). In contrast to all the 5 star rave reviews for this place, during my own experience here at LPM I found that the serving staff lacked polish and we felt rushed during certain points, but a lack of any attention when we'd have appreciated it at other times. They sent a sommelier we didn't ask for who recommended a bottle that was overpriced vs. quality, and had an experience that I'd just summarize as a bit odd overall. I can now say I've been to LPM and experienced it for myself. I can also say with some confidence that, with all the other restaurant offerings in this city, including many in the Brickell area, I don't think I have any desire to return here. read more

Let me start by saying our server, Honey, was fantastic! The escargot was delicious, as were the lamb chops and duck confit. Unfortunately, the rest of the service left us extremely disappointed. Our Tomato-tini was spilled completely over my partner before it was ever properly served. There was only a brief acknowledgment of what happened, with no follow-up from management or anyone else. To make matters worse, when the bill arrived, Honey pointed out that we had still been charged for the drink. The charge was removed once it was flagged, but it was surprising that a cocktail that had been spilled entirely on a guest was not automatically taken off the bill. Mistakes happen, and a spilled drink alone would not have prompted a negative review. What was disappointing was how the situation was handled afterward. I've experienced much more attentive responses from far less highly regarded restaurants. At an establishment of this caliber, I would expect management to acknowledge a significant service mishap and make an effort to recover the experience. Instead, it was essentially overlooked--and we were initially charged for the drink on top of it. This aesthetic of this place was so cute and it was perfect for a ladies dinner with the bestie. We started with tomatinis which were absolutely mouth watering and delicious. Each table comes with tomatoes and lemons that you can cut and eat with your bread. We shared the yellowtail carpaccio, duck l'orange, and entrecôte. All of the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted very good. I will say, the prices are pretty up there for decent food, but I believe you are paying for the experience and ambiance as well. The duck was cooked perfectly and the flavors really went well together. The entrecôte was a solid steak, but I don't think it was worth the price point. We also ordered the pommes frites which were very good. We finished out meal with the French toast with spiced ice cream which was a nice way to end our dinner. I stopped by LPM for drinks at the bar with Jonathan (bartender). First off he and all the other bartenders were so friendly and made our experience at the bar great! My favorite cocktail by far was the Tomatotini. It tasted like the best tomato juice I've ever had and the cocktail was well balanced so I could not taste any alcohol. The LPM club was also very good and refreshing. It tasted like raspberry basil juice. I also tried some other drinks from their seasonal menu and thought they were all very good too. I'm excited to go back and can't wait to try more of the menu. I did a get a few bites off the happy hour menu and loved the escargots! read more

An absolutely exceptional experience at LPM Restaurant & Bar. Everything about our visit was outstanding--from the beautiful, lively atmosphere to the food, wine, cocktails, and especially the service. The food was incredible. We enjoyed so many dishes, including the escargots, warm prawns, salmon, baby chicken and the Duck à l'Orange, which was a standout. Everything was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and executed perfectly. We finished with fantastic desserts, including the cheesecake and sorbets. The beverage program deserves just as much recognition. The wine selection is excellent, with wonderful options to complement the cuisine, and the cocktails were creative, beautifully made and perfectly balanced. Most importantly, the hospitality was exceptional. Desiree, Zach and Maria took wonderful care of us. They were warm, knowledgeable, attentive and professional, making the entire experience feel effortless. I've gone twice to take advantage of the lunch menu which may be one of the best deals in town. I've gone with three other people so we usually order almost everything and then share. These included the burrata, a tagliata-like beef dish and a mediterranean fish dish that provoked a lot of oohs and ahhs at the table. The staff is orderly and well informed like they went to French military school. They were efficient and had that je-ne-sais-quoi confidence and panache when serving. The portion sizes are generous as they let you know its family size. They have fresh tomatoes and a lemon with a knife at every table. The escargot was by far sone of the best with the Parmesan they used. Fresh WARM bread is served through out your meal. The main courses were generously sized. Sophia helped us and was not only a very attentive server, she was very engaging (but not too much), charismatic and professional. The restaurant is charming - I will say the 2-tops are crammed in together but think they did a good job spacing parties out. We didn't have "neighbors" until the end of our meal. So happy they offered Ruinart by the glass. I appreciated the fresh baked bread that was offered warm, individually rather than an entire basket. They have tomatoes and a lemon with a knife on your table for you to freely cut, as well as a bottle of olive oil & balsamic. Favorites: the lentil salad - RUN to order it. I omitted the apple but was flavorful and layered with fennel, celery and onion & perfectly cooked lentils. I would have ordered this as an entree. The yellowtail carpaccio was also a winner, as was the chicken. Sophia did warn us that some parts would be pink, but I despite the pink color - some of the meat closer to the bone had a slightly uncooked texture so we skipped that part. The gem salad was ok...I felt like it was missing anchovies or capers. The gnocchi was perfectly made and cooked - my only complaint is that the sauce was too sweet. I was expecting more of a tomato forward, not sweet flavor. My husband ordered the sea bass - I thought it was good but he did not love. We ate too much to try desserts but will absolutely come back. Went there yesterday! This is the absolute perfect place for a romantic date or valentines dinner and let me tell you both outdoor and indoor seating offer a romantic cozy vibe. I won't lie i live in the area so I did go in jeans and sneakers, they let me in no issues however I will say I did feel underdressed everyone was so elegant and fancy. Now for the food prepare to spend $$$$. When you take a seat you will be met with attentive kind amazing staff! My table was a bit shaky they fixed it, they offered me a post for my hand bag so I am comfortable. There are two tomatos and a lemon for you to use to make a salad or eat with bread and they are so fresh. A server will pass by with a warm bread basket every few minutes. The food is expensive. Appetizers are around $30 and main dishes there is nothing under $45-50 and those are sometimes vegetarian dishes, when you start getting into your proteins a single dish could cost $75 but well worth it as you can see the portion. We got the yellow tail carpacio as appetizer and canard a l'orange and the Marinated Lamb Cutlets with Olive, Aubergine Caviar and Pine Nuts. These were not seasonal items but they have seasonal items. The flavors were impeccable every dish was a 10/10 all ingredients fresh. With the 3 dishes and the 20% service fee we paid around $195 (tap water no drinks). Expensive but for the quality and quantity we got it was great. We plan to come again! Their happy hour is incredible and my server was amazing, I wish I remembered his name. Let me share a little story. Tonight, my family and I returned to LPM for my birthday dinner. Coincidentally--or maybe fatefully--we were seated at the exact same table we had two years ago. And incredibly, Bilal was once again our server. Somehow, he remembered us. I have no idea how, but he did--and that simple gesture meant so much. He's incredibly personable, and while the food at LPM is nothing short of phenomenal, it's that kind of service that truly elevates the entire experience. He made us feel like we were the only table in the restaurant. We started with the burrata and tomatoes--such a simple dish, yet unbelievably flavorful. We also had the prawns with warm olive oil and lemon. Again, simple ingredients done to perfection. And then came the snails--my sister's choice. I couldn't bring myself to try them, but she insists they were absolutely delicious. For the main course, we had the lamb cutlets, cooked and seasoned to perfection. We also shared the pappardelle, which was rich and comforting--the beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender. And the octopus? Perfectly done, with just the right amount of char and seasoning. Now, dessert--don't judge! We went all out. The French toast with spiced ice cream and warm chocolate mousse was decadent, rich, and pure heaven for any chocoholic. We also tried the cheesecake, which was incredibly light with spot-on flavor. And finally, the crème brûlée--massive in size and equally satisfying in taste. Another wonderful experience at LPM! Went for lunch with my friends to celebrate our birthdays that are within a few days of each other. We went for the Miami spice menu, which was an incredible deal and amazing quality. I started with the marinated beets, which were so tasty. I had the steak entree, which was cooked perfectly medium rare as requested and came with an amazing peppercorn sauce. My friends and I shared our entrees and they were all fantastic. My friends each got the salmon and the homemade rigatoni mushroom pasta. For dessert, I kept it simple with some of their homemade sorbet. Ricardo did an amazing job giving us a special experience to celebrate. Really appreciated his thoughtful explanation of the dishes we were curious about and for his helpful recommendations. He was also was very thoughtful to clarify that we were celebrating multiple birthdays and made sure there were three candles so we each had one. While seated at the bar, the bartender began sending over drinks and food items without us ordering them, saying things like "we want you to try this" and continuing to bring additional items throughout the evening. There was no clear communication at any point that these items would be charged. Based on how it was presented, it felt like these were gestures from the bar. However, when the bill was presented, those items were included, which created a very uncomfortable and confusing situation. The issue here is not about the amount, but about the lack of transparency. If items are being sent to a table, it should be made explicitly clear whether they are complimentary or will be included on the bill. Without that clarity, it feels misleading. At a restaurant of this caliber, clear communication should be a given, and unfortunately that was not the case here. read more

It was raining terribly the evening we went to LPM and we sat outside. There were awnings hanging and we still didn't get wet even though it felt like there was a hurricane outside. Ground was flooding a bit too. The food was spectacular! We had the foie gras poele which truly tasted divine. The reservation process was intense. Multiple confirmations, warnings not to be late, and the threat that if you're more than 15 minutes late, your table is gone. Curiously, they forgot to mention that finding the restaurant requires navigating what appears to be an active construction site. Nothing says "fine dining" quite like dodging plywood, construction debris, and a tired red carpet desperately trying to convince you that you're in the right place. We almost left. In hindsight, that would have been the correct decision. The restaurant itself is attractive enough, and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, that's where the compliments end. The food was mediocre, the service felt robotic, and the entire experience was wildly overpriced for what was delivered. An hour there felt like four, and not in a good way. We spent most of the meal looking forward to the check. What bothers me most isn't the disappointing food. Restaurants have off nights. It's the fact that management dedicated more effort to warning customers about being 15 minutes late than warning them they'll be entering through what looks like the service entrance of a building awaiting demolition. Frankly, had they given our table away, it would have spared us one of the worst dining experiences we've had in Miami. There are far better restaurants in this city. Save your money, save your evening, and if you see the construction site, take it as a sign. read more

Went today to LPM for Miami Spice 2026 lunch. Very disappointed. I had the salmon carpaccio and chicken; marinades for both were strange and tasted "off." My husband had the scallops entree- consisted of three scallops and was more like an appetizer. Got wine by the glass and the pours were "chintzy." We have been here several times before for dinner and lunch and hate the idea that the food is served when it is ready-- even if others at the table are waiting for their food. This is a highly overrated restaurant and not worth the prices it charges. It is unlikely we will be back again. Like most Miami eateries it feels like we are being gouged. read more

We sat outside on a warm evening and enjoyed the complimentary bread, fresh tomatoes, fresh lemon (you slice them yourself at the table), and olive oil to start. It is safe to say it was a wonderful start to a fantastic experience. The crowd and ambiance can best be described as beautiful people in a gorgeous venue. As a born and raised Miamian, I know it is hard for us as a city to agree on a lot of things. But it makes sense why the vast majority of people in this city will tell you, LPM hits every.single.time. Why? They have great food, an upscale ambiance and wonderful service. They also serve spectacular tomatinis. The team here just understands hospitality, as well as the art of executing simple French dishes with complex flavors especially well. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Some stand outs include the warm prawns, escargot, and duck a l'orange. It goes without saying you must order a tomatini which is the essence of LPM in a martini glass. I went recently for drinks for a friends birthday and the bar team was amazing. We said we were going to dinner elsewhere and yet they still brought us snacks and even a slice of vanilla cheesecake with a candle as they sang happy birthday. We were so touched by the polaroid photo and hand written note to wish us a great dinner nearby and thank us for our visit. This to me is Unreasonable Hospitality at its finest, and why I will always recommend LPM as a great spot for any occasion. Went here for the first time last night and was really impressed. Service was a little overwhelming at first and a little inconsistent throughout but very friendly and welcoming. We tried the tasting menu which is a great value at $95 per person for a lot of excellent food. Great wine menu with a lot of nice choices. Bread service was a good starting point, then escargot, shrimps and gnocchi, all delicious. Seabass, duck and lamb were terrific. French toast dessert is unique and a must get. Getting the check at the end was a little difficult but the manager took a little something off the top, which was very nice. We will definitely return! read more

If you want to cross this off your bucket list, I'd recommend going for Miami Spice, because you get the feel of a 3 course meal but it's not exorbitantly expensive like it would be otherwise. Servers pass around bread and it's INCREDIBLE! Break your diet for this bread. I had 6 pieces and have no regrets. At the table there are tomatoes, lemon, olive oil, and balsamic for you to cut up yourself and make a table-site bruschetta. The mushroom rigatoni was my other favorite thing here. The flavor is absolutely delicious and I would 100% recommend it even if you don't usually go for a pasta. Another stand out was the Pain Perdu French toast dessert. A very nice spot for an evening out! We had an early dining reservation at 6pm but decided to come a bit earlier for happy hour which starts at 5pm Monday-Friday. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a glass of wine and had the prawns from the bite menu which were very yummy. The bartender, Jon, was very helpful and reviewed the menu with us and gave us all his recommendations, especially since we couldn't decide between a couple dishes. Once we moved to our table, we were greeted by our waitress who was very warm and friendly throughout. I wish I could remember her name but she was a Colombian Miami Native. We ordered the escargot as many do which was great! We're not huge escargot people but these were definitely better than others I've tried at other restaurants. There was a man going around handing out baguette, making sure you had enough. For dinner we ordered the lamb chops and the pappardelle. Wow! Some of the best lamb chops, honestly. The pappardelle was good but I like my noodles a little more cooked. I'm sure that's not the authentic Italian way but ‍ there was a generous amount of meat in them. The wine on the dinner menu struck us as being very pricy.. my boyfriend opted for another glass of wine with dinner which ended up being $34 for the glass... he's a big wine drinker and he said it didn't taste as good as the $10 Trader Joe's bottle we sometimes get. Awesome restaurant and fantastic hospitality from the moment I walked in from Alexi and her team and our server Giana and everyone else who helped was great! Loved the ambiance, presentation and all that we had. My favorites were the oyster, rigatoni with mushrooms, artic char and the French toast for dessert. The coffee was great too. I came for a business lunch and look forward to coming back next week for a date with my wife. Highly recommend! read more

Im going to preface this by saying I have been hearing non stop about how amazing this tomatini is... and Yes It lived up to the hype! Amazing, although I would've liked a splash more vodka but overall soooo delish. food was amazing, but the star of the night was the duck, and the cheesecake for dessert. The escargot was amazing, especially as they walk around with bread and I paired it together. The concept of cutting your own tomatoes with bread when you arrive is fun, and keeps you entertained. Service was excellent. I will be coming back, as it was one of my more memorable dinners! read more

I came for dinner last night; the food was delicious, the lamb chops were incredible. However, the service was absolutely terrible. The waiter was slow and unaware; our food came out in stages, not at once--some of my party received their entrées while others had to wait an additional 15 minutes to get theirs. It took about 25 minutes to get dessert menus after we asked for them. The "pepper boy" or server that walks around with the large pepper grinder was a jerk. He reminded me that I had pepper on my table and that his special pepper wasn't necessary--fuck you, Pepper Boy. To get whacked with a $900 bill and for 20% gratuity to be forced is an insult. I tipped based on service; my wife is 7.5 months pregnant--our unborn child could have provided better service. All in all, this place is overrated with shitty service.
