Nestled in the Grove, very cozy offering french cuisine that feels very homey! We really liked this place we got the moules and pomme frite! It was delicious and presentation was impeccable. We ordered also a soup and a salad (not pictured) and they were kind enough to split the portion in two for us to share so each got their own plate! Honestly for two main dishes, a salad and a soup we paid around $100 which is not too bad for miami! We re definitely coming back to this place!

What a great spot! From the moment we sat down and were handed complimentary glasses of champagne, we knew we were in for a great foodie experience. The place is cozy and a little cramped, but it totally works. It's lively, warm, and filled with eclectic French signs and art. Chef Christian has clearly been doing this a long time. He walks around the dining room with confidence, and keeps an eye on things as he sips his mineral water, without hovering. The staff was efficient and friendly. It's busy and the tables are close together, but that's part of the charm. Definitely call ahead for reservations. Chef Christian has been here since the '90s. We started with the escargot, loaded with garlic, butter, and parsley. The foie gras was rich and perfectly done. For main dishes, the duck confit was crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the mussels (served in a big Le Creuset pot) were good, and definitely enough to share. I paired everything with a Sancerre. Finished with their house-made apple tartine in a crème sauce. That was the perfect ending.

I went with my mom and husband and 2 babies, so not a lot of food pics were taken but everything tasted amazing. I had the onion soup, filet mignon and mussels and fries with a cappuccino. The service could have been better as we had to wait a while to receive food and drinks but it was a busy sunday. Def would recommend if you are in the area and want some french authentic food.

Fantastic food and service. Le Bouchon is a staple of Coconut Grove. I've been going to this place forever. I love the vibe of authentic French food. This is truly a place where the locals dine. The ambience is very rustic and nostalgic.

Just a tad disappointed with our overall experience here. After experiencing traditional bouchon lyonnaise in Lyon, we were so excited to dine here. Seating was quick as we came in a slow time but we waited about 45 minutes for appetizer and then another hour after that for food. (It was just me and my husband and we ordered apps and entree at the same time) Our overall lunch was about 2 hours 30 minutes and it wasn't even a busy time. The food was yummy and we were not in a huge rush, but still disappointed in the slow service. Place is super cute and looks authentically like a bouchon in Lyon and we got sat facing the road which made the time there more pleasant than if we had to sit inside and wait. Wish the staff was French for a more authentic experience but that would just be a bonus!

My husband and I are kicking ourselves after recently eating here for a date night. For years, we would drive or walk by and say "we really need to try that place." Well, when we finally did, we discovered it was exceptional...and now we are sad we could have been enjoying it for years! We both started with the onion soup - probably the best french onion soup I've ever had - the cheese was decadent. We then also tried one of their appetizer specials a tarte with duck and figs. It was light, delicious and so flavorful! For our entree, I tried the sea bass with mushroom risotto - omg. So so delicious. I am sad that it was just a special and that I can't order it everytime! My husband ordered a chicken dish and is already talking about going back to order it again. Service was great - we got a complimentary glass of champagne to start the meal. We are just so sad that we didn't have room to try dessert!

Le Bouchon du Grove is a Miami staple. I've been here many times before through the years, and this restaurant never disappoints. Chef and owner Christian is always there to make recommendations and for those great daily specials. This time, he recommended that I try the Alligator Blanquette, and it was mind-blowing. The fettuccine was perfectly cooked, and the Blanquette sauce was light, which made this delicate, flavorful Alligator incredibly delicious. Attention to detail and service here is always on point. If you are in the area, definitely give this restaurant a try. You will be pleased. PS: Other great dishes from here to try are moules e frites, coq au vin if avaliable. It is always great coming here.

Came to this grove staple for dinner on NYE. We were greeted with the lovely glass of champagne and excited to have our last meal of the year. The restaurant is small and it was packed on a busy night - yet the service was still attentive. We ordered the escargots as an app and the steak frites and the chicken fricasse as mains. The star of the show was the filet of the steak frites. At $48, it came out with perfect temperature (medium rare) and beautiful cut of mignon - the cow lover in me was very happy. The sauce was creamy and I think I would opt for it on the side next time. The chicken was decadent, rich and definitely enough for two to share. It was super tasty too but after bite number 5, it gets to be a lot real fast. Would order again with a salad on the side to balance it out. The escargots were underwhelming sadly. Not the vessels of delightful buttery herbs that I was looking forward to, so would likely not order again. Would come back to try out other items on the menu on a more regular night - the spot feels local and the food is authentic and tasty, all while being very very rich!

Wow, I lived in Coconut Grove/ Gables area for years and always wondered about this restaurant. I don't know why I never stopped in to try but it only took three years after I moved to try. I only ordered two things but what I ate was so delicious and it makes me sad that I waited so long to try. I was greeted by the staff in a friendly manner, and with a glass of champagne. The inside is smaller and a little tight, has an old school feel. I ordered the escargots and the mussels. Come hungry, food was so good.

Cute neighborhood feel, very French everything on the menu is fantastic. Also are very reasonable prices. Only draw back is that it is very busy a can be loud .Paid street parking . Didn't aware 20% tips are included on the bill,we paid double ...Our waiter Paul was attentive and good .We'll be back.

    Complimentary glass of champagne!

Absolutely amazing amazing food. What a great spot. The service is great - they started us off with a complimentary glass of champagne which as a very nice inviting touch. We ordered a few appetizers and everything was great. The portions were very big! For entrees we ordered the rack of lamb and chicken fricasé. Both entrees were insanely good. The chicken fricasé has been on my mind since!

New Zealand Roast Rack of Lamb

Found this restaurant on TikTok . The escargot was very good aside from that the filet mignon and rack of lamb were awful . The sauce had a weird taste to it . The severs were very nice just the food took forever to get to the table .The ambiance is nice looks like an authentic French restaurant .

Best Restaurant i've been to in a while…read more La Fresca Francesa absolutely blew us away. We typically don't eat French food, so we weren't sure what to expect, but this was phenomenal from start to finish. We started with the Assiette de Fromage. All three cheeses were really good, and the jam they served alongside them paired incredibly well with the cheese. It was a great way to start the meal. We also tried the Boudin Noir, which was probably one of the most unique dishes we had. I'd never had anything quite like it. The pear really brought out the flavor of the sausage and complemented it surprisingly well. The Chicken Vol-au-Vent was probably my favorite savory dish. I'm not even sure where to start. The sauce was excellent, the chicken was tender, and all the other toppings in the filling came together really well. I would definitely order this again. The Lapin à la Moutarde was also very good. I really enjoyed the rabbit, and the potatoes were a great accompaniment. For dessert, we had the French Salted Butter & Sugar Crêpe, and it was phenomenal. The simplicity of the dish really worked, and the butter in particular made the dish. The service was amazing. Milena was awesome, super attentive, knowledgeable, and really helpful when walking us through the menu. Everyone in the restaurant was incredibly nice and welcoming. The restaurant itself was also beautiful and really well decorated. It has a very unique atmosphere that adds to the experience. Overall, La Fresca Francesa was truly a one-of-a-kind restaurant. We went in not knowing much about French food and left absolutely blown away. Definitely one of those places I'd recommend trying even if French cuisine isn't normally your thing.

Nestled in Wynwood, the restaurant has a chic yet welcoming atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's the kind of place that feels lively without being overwhelming. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. Every staff member was warm and attentive, and our server, Radomere, truly elevated the experience. Managing a party of 12 is no easy task, yet everything flowed seamlessly. He was attentive, personable, and made sure our celebration felt special from start to finish. With a group our size, we took full advantage of the menu. We shared oysters, escargot, crispy artichokes, leeks, beet salad, French onion soup, tuna carpaccio, steak tartare, and a beautifully curated cheese platter. Every appetizer arrived impeccably presented and packed with flavor. It was one of those rare meals where every dish earned compliments around the table. The cocktails and wine were just as enjoyable especially the dirty martinis, which were a hit with our group. For the main course, we ordered everything from the cheeseburger and mussels to the lemon pasta, spaghetti, steak, and chicken. Once again, every plate was beautifully executed and, more importantly, absolutely delicious. There wasn't a weak link in the meal. Dessert was the perfect finale. The dark chocolate mousse was rich, silky, and easily my favorite, though the profiteroles and lemon tart were excellent as well. Great food is one thing, but when you pair it with exceptional service, it makes for a memorable dining experience. The ambiance is vibrant and has a lovely, authentic French feel. The host was very welcoming and made a great first impression when we walked in. The Food: Given the reputation, we expected the kitchen to deliver, but most of the dishes fell flat: French Onion Soup: Just okay nothing special compared to other versions I've had. Artichoke with Aioli: Good! The aioli had great flavor and was easily the highlight of the savory dishes. New York Strip Steak: Very disappointing. It lacked flavor, felt dry, and was just "whatever." Pastis Burger: Like the steak, it was underwhelming and missed the mark on flavor. Crème Brûlée: Saved the ending it was executed well and tasted great. The Service: Our server was polite enough, but completely disengaged. He didn't offer any suggestions or attempt to sell any specials we had to ask all the questions ourselves. To top it off, after we ordered coffee alongside our dessert, he simply dropped the check on the table and vanished. We felt rushed, like he was just waiting to clock out and go home.

I didn't read any of the reviews of LPM before coming here, but now that I'm reading through some of them as I draft mine, I can honestly say I don't understand the hype or how/why this place has garnered so many 5 star reviews based on my own experience. I note that many of the highest rated reviews are nearly a decade old, so maybe LPM used to be better back in the day? We arrived just ahead of our reservation and were seated right away. Service wasn't terribly attentive, yet we also felt rushed at times. Our server explained a bit about the menu and when we said we'd planned to order a bottle of wine and one of the guys in our party was perusing the wine list, the waiter more or less insisted he was sending the sommelier to make a recommendation, rather than asking if we'd like him to send the sommelier. When indicating we just wanted a decent mid-priced red, their wine expert recommended a $170 bottle which ended up being good, but not at all worthy of that pricepoint. We felt rushed to order our meals after they visited twice to ask if we'd made our selections, though we were clearly more interested in chatting for a bit before seriously looking at the menu. Later, shortly after we'd been given bread they cleared our plates along with bread slices we'd just been given, saying our meals were nearly ready - yet they weren't delivered for several more minutes. It was explained to us that most people order several dishes which are brought to the table as they're prepared, but on this night we all ordered from the Miami Spice menu as each of us saw items listed there we were interested in but also, since we were being prompted repeatedly to make our selections, it was just faster to order from that simplified menu. When they brought each of our Miami Spice courses - salads, entrees and deserts, they sat them in the center of the table as if we were expected to divide and share them. Each time they brought a course we each took the plates we'd ordered and only ate what we'd selected, but the staff didn't take the hint and still just sat everything in the middle of the table when they'd bring our food. I must say everything I ate was well-prepared and flavorful, though the portions weren't very large (which is sometimes to be expected when ordering the Miami Spice offering). In contrast to all the 5 star rave reviews for this place, during my own experience here at LPM I found that the serving staff lacked polish and we felt rushed during certain points, but a lack of any attention when we'd have appreciated it at other times. They sent a sommelier we didn't ask for who recommended a bottle that was overpriced vs. quality, and had an experience that I'd just summarize as a bit odd overall. I can now say I've been to LPM and experienced it for myself. I can also say with some confidence that, with all the other restaurant offerings in this city, including many in the Brickell area, I don't think I have any desire to return here.

We…read moreenjoyed watching the chefs work with such precision and hearing their "Yes, Chef" responses throughout the evening. There are also smaller tables around the restaurant, but you would miss much of the theater of watching the chefs at work. Another advantage of sitting at the counter was the remarkable pacing: as we finished our plates, they were often cleared within seconds and the next course arrived within minutes. In addition to the Miami Spice menu, there was a four-course seasonal Summer Menu, which we ordered, and an eight-course Evolution Menu, all with optional wine pairings. The Miami Spice and Evolution had fixed courses. For each of the four courses on the Summer Menu, we had several choices. There were also additional courses, including bread and butter, a foie gras starter with Parmesan foam, and a cantaloupe sorbet palate cleanser. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, we were also presented with a stunning raspberry and white chocolate heart dessert to share. I normally avoid foie gras out of compassion for the goose, but there wasn't an alternative offered. I have to admit, however, that this one was delicious. The essence of Maury "Vieilles Vignes" gave it a faint caramel-like flavor that paired beautifully with the richness of the foie gras. And the hot cheese bread is not to be missed. One bite with the softened, creamy butter and I was already thinking, "Okay, I'm glad I came." For our first courses, we both chose the Japanese hamachi with toasted almond emulsion and winter citrus. It was beautifully presented and a light, gentle way to begin. For the second course, I ventured further outside my usual comfort zone with the Japanese sea urchin, served with onion custard, asparagus, and coffee essence, while my husband chose the leeks braised in wasabi with radish, dill, and egg yolk. After snorkeling and seeing sea urchins in their natural habitat, I appreciated the opportunity to finally taste a really good one. The leeks were also amazing. I was still a little hungry when we reached the main course, but that was about to change. I chose the olive oil-poached halibut with clam-vermouth broth and a spring vegetable bouquet. My husband had the Mediterranean branzino with lemon balm emulsion, crème fraîche, and a caviar-stuffed tomato. The halibut was an exceptionally delicate fish in a light and genuinely delicious broth. I had been worried the clam-vermouth broth might taste overly fishy, but it didn't at all, and I savored every drop. The signature mashed potatoes served alongside the meal were decadently rich, buttery, and filling. For dessert, we both chose Le Chocolat Sensation -- Guanaja chocolate crémeux with white chocolate ice cream and Oreo cookie crumble. It arrived beneath a beautiful, thin disk of chocolate concealing the chocolate, cookie crumble, and ice cream below. If you had any hunger remaining, it was certainly cured by this point. Our anniversary raspberry and white chocolate heart complemented the flavors beautifully and made for a lovely photograph and memory of the evening. Our waitstaff, including Oriana, was absolutely outstanding. Service was attentive and polished and each dish was carefully introduced as it arrived. Combined with the extraordinary choreography of the open kitchen, the pacing made the entire dinner feel seamless. This was our first two-Michelin-star restaurant in the United States, and I'm glad we experienced it.
