Hit up Pastis for Sunday brunch and what a great time we had. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and the vibes were great on both. If it's a hot summer day or a chance of rain, def go for inside seating as the umbrella coverage isn't the best. And be sure to make your reservation on Resy. We ordered an egg breakfast and a burger with fries. Both were fantastic. They make good cocktails so, drink up. Weekend afternoons is prob the best time to come, and I'll for sure be back again.

Went here for Easter brunch today and reserved a spot on the garden patio. We had the same server as when we were there in Dec 2024 but of course he didn't recognize us haha. But he was as friendly and attentive as our last visit. I enjoyed this visit so much on the patio. It had the feel of an outdoor cafe in France (not that I've ever been there, but it was what I imagine). I had a cappuccino, and I have to say this was the real deal. It had the perfect strength and flavor. The bread we started off with was soft and was so delicious with a swipe of the butter. I ordered the French Onion soup hor d'oeuvres and my husband, who isn't a huge French onion soup fan, also loved it. I ordered pancakes which is a rarity for me, as I usually prefer savory. But these were so fluffy and perfect. I ate barely 1 1/2 bc I was so full by then (it came with 3). My daughter's French toast was delicious and really soft. My husband ordered an omelet, and I forgot to ask him how it was, but he devoured it. I also had a mimosa after my coffee. The mimosa was perfect as well. We had such a nice time here and cemented my love for Pastis. I will say that I would prob only go for lunch if I was looking for lighter fare (maybe coffee and croissant etc) or was nearby abs liked the ambiance. We live quite a ways south so I would prob save my next trip to Pastis for dinner because I keep thinking about our last visit. Also, someone near us had ordered a dish with garlic that smelled incredible.

Pastis is one of my favorite places to get a delicious juicy burger in Miami. The quality of everything is top tier. It's nothing crazy but still amazing at the same time. Simple and straight to the point. The fries are always sooo delicious fresh. Can't wait to come back.

Seldom times do you visit a restaurant in Miami that feels like you're somewhere else in the world and this joint did that for me even though it's in the middle of the Wynwood madness. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're somewhere in the coast or south of France. Aesthetically speaking, the ambiance and decor is off the charts...every detail in the decor was done tastefully and with intention. I sat at the bar, got a glass of Chardonnay and opted for these dishes...steak tartare, cheeseburger and creme brûlée for dessert. Steak tartare is a 20/10, arguably one of the best I've had in the city but that cheeseburger became one of the best in town. I don't know if it's the secret sauce or that fluffy sesame bun or the perfect blend in the patty but I went into foodgasm when I took the first bite...OMG. Second visit I got to try the escargot and that was definitely one of those dishes that I would come back for time after time. The French would be proud of this dish for sure. The creme brûlée was good but not memorable. The service, however, was just as you'd expect from a fine establishment such as this one, REMARKABLE.

I haven't written a review in a long time, but our dinner last night was worthy of one. Wow. It was Valentine's Day, and on a Saturday, so I was terrified to eat out because the food and service tends to lack with the overwhelming demand. But.....I was extremely surprised by everything. My martini was perfect, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. We started with oysters and steak tartare for appetizers. Both were exceptional, I will crave that tartare for a while. Then we shared the skirt steak frites with a side salad. I can't even tell you what our favorite bite was because every single dish, yes even the side salad, was just perfect. The server was so attendant and kind. I don't think my water glass was ever below halfway. The restaurant is beautiful, dimly lit and decorated gorgeously. I felt like I was back in Paris with just the perfect touch of Miami (hello loud music and conversations). I could not recommend this restaurant more. Expectations were blown out of the water. Will definitely be going back.

We really enjoy Pastis and have been there a couple of times now, and it's always been a big hit. From the drinks all the way to dessert, everything has been consistently excellent, we honestly haven't ordered a single thing we didn't like. The food and drinks feel well thought out and executed, which makes each visit just as enjoyable as the last. The service has always been great as well, no complaints. It's also a great spot for a date night. The atmosphere is lovely, especially in the evening, with beautiful ambient lighting that sets the mood perfectly. The space feels lively and buzzing, yet still cozy and intimate at the same time. Overall, Pastis is a place we're always happy to return to and would highly recommend for a special night out or a relaxed, memorable meal.

Pastis is a love language only few know how to speak, and when I say that I'm talking most specifically about their Spaghetti Limone. I could write poems about this dish. Needless to say, Pastis has such a special place in the hearts of all lucky enough to try it. Extremely versatile, perfectly accommodating any date, family gathering, or even lunch; it truly is a hit in any scenario. Other star plates include their American Burger, remaining on the list of top Burgers in the city despite the burger scene expanding as quickly as it has; as well as their steak tartare, and their brunch menu is also worth noting with their delicious Eggs Benedict & Steak Frites. The ambiance is incredibly photo-worthy and one we will see on your IG feed without a doubt after a visit.

My friends and I recently checked out Pastis, a French restaurant in Miami, and honestly, it's a really cute spot--with both indoor and outdoor seating. We dined outside, and the atmosphere is cozy, almost like sitting on a little European terrace. Charming and relaxed. Service was a bit hit-or-miss. The reception was welcoming, but once we were seated, it sometimes felt like we were a bit of a bother. The bread basket took 20 minutes to arrive, and even though we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, there wasn't much acknowledgement--other tables were sung to, but not us. While I can't say for certain, it did feel like the service we received was different from other tables, and it seemed influenced by the fact that we were the only black people in the restaurant. It's not about the bread or dessert itself, but about consistent, attentive service for all guests. We started with onion soup and burrata. The onion soup was rich, savory, full of flavor, and so comforting--definitely a great way to start the meal. The burrata was fresh and creamy, though we had to ask for baguettes to go with it, and it took a while for them to come, which left us waiting to fully enjoy the dish. I tried the Miami Mango mocktail (passionfruit & mango puree, lemon, grenadine, tonic). It was very tart and leaned more toward passionfruit than mango--not my favorite, but if you like tart drinks, it might be for you. For mains, we had: Gratin au Macaroni with Ham Spaghetti Bolognese Chicken Paillard with Almonds & Picholine Olives Linguine Vongole Boeuf Bourguignon with Frites The Chicken Paillard was seasoned but the combination of the salty olives and the acidity of the lemon made the dish extra salty. The salad was fresh but topped with parmesan which is also salty didn't help balance it. If you order this, go with mashed potatoes for a better balance. The macaroni and ham was creamy with a good texture but also on the salty side. The Bolognese was fresh, but nothing spectacular. The highlight dish was definitely the Boeuf Bourguignon with mashed potatoes-- tender, buttery, and basically melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes were light, airy, and creamy--truly a perfect combo. If you try one thing, make it this. For dessert, I had the Crème Brûlée, which had a perfect caramelized top and thick, creamy texture. Flavor-wise, it was a little mild--more milky than rich--and could have had more depth. Parking is easy: street parking is available, or valet is $25 if you're not a member. Overall, Pastis has a charming vibe but a few overly salty plates, inconsistent service, and slightly overpriced menu items keep it from being perfect. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again, and I have to note that the way our table was treated felt noticeably different compared to others, which was disappointing.

William was our server and we ordered the pancakes which are extremely large and can easily be split between two people. The yogurt berries and granola without granola because we were informed it contained nuts. A cheeseburger, the chicken paillard which is also served with nuts so be sure to mention if you have an allergy. Lastly the 12 piece oyster that were served fresh with dips and lemon but we had to request rock salt and the Le Grand Aioli which was also light yet filling. The Le Grand is served with asparagus, boiled egg, radishes and potatoes all chilled with smoked salmon and shrimp. The smoked salmon didn't have a Smokey flavor to it but it was delicious when dipped in the olive tapenade and other dips served with the platter. The atmosphere is quite nice and the bread is served with pastis whipped butter and/or olive oil upon request. I suggest trying both!

By far, one of my favorite restaurants! I went with my boyfriend for Miami Spice 2025 and we were blown away by such a beautiful restaurant and crazy delicious meals! The escargot stole the show! Buttery and garlicky - even better on top of the sourdough! The lemon pasta is one of the best I've had! Salad was refreshing, burger was juicy, fries were crispy, and desserts were yummy! Service was attentive and quick, despite such a busy night. We will be coming back to try different dishes soon.

    Lauren H.

I have to start with the service because it was exceptional. Our waters were never empty, the suggestions given guided us, spread good energy, and he genuinely cared. I ordered the spaghetti limone and added chicken, my mom got the same thing but added shrimp, and my sister got the salmon entree. All were settling our cravings and we truly enjoyed the food. To end, we ordered the dark chocolate mousse to finish and it was exquisitely good. Rich, yummy, and everything you could want in a sweet treat! Side note: the way this restaurant looks makes you feel like you are in France!

Escargot, tuna carpaccio, French onion soup, espresso martini
    Subani A.

Drinks Espresso martini to start is a must. Dirty martini is simple and done really well. Le Jardinier and Fleur de Lys are also great. Bartenders don't miss. Food Everything I've tried has been good. Favorites: oysters, escargot, tuna carpaccio, and the French onion soup. Spaghetti limone and salmon are both light and go really well together. Crispy artichoke app is better than the entrée. Profiteroles for dessert are worth it if you have room. Vibe Inside is more lowkey French diner scene, outside in the garden is the best when the weather's nice. Service Always solid. Love sitting at the bar--staff is friendly and attentive.

I went into L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon with very high expectations. After a few recent fine dining…read moreexperiences in Miami, I tempered them a bit, but I still expected exceptional food, beautiful presentation, and unique flavors and textures. For the most part, the food delivered. We shared several appetizers. The heirloom tomato dish with the saffron cracker was delicate, satisfying, and one of my favorite starters of the evening. The white asparagus was the only miss for me--it was overwhelmingly acidic and sour. The artichoke, however, was outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, and every bite seemed to wake up my palate. The standout dish of the night was the spaghetti with caviar and Parmesan foam. It's difficult to describe because the flavors and textures worked together in a way that needs to be experienced rather than explained. If I ever returned, this would be the dish I would order again without hesitation. For mains, I chose the bison while my husband ordered the duck. The duck was tender with crispy skin, though it wasn't his favorite. The bison was exceptional. Wrapped in a croissant-like pastry with earthy mushrooms and served alongside a rich red wine reduction, it was incredibly tender and melted in your mouth. The mushrooms retained their texture without becoming mushy, and the sauce complemented both the bison and the mashed potatoes beautifully. Dessert was another highlight. The Black Forest dessert had the most impressive presentation, resembling a mushroom and fitting the restaurant's artistic approach. While it was delicious, the chocolate soufflé special was our favorite. Soft, airy, and paired with ice cream, it was perfectly executed. Cocktails were surprisingly strong across the board. I ordered their signature Michelin Star cocktail and enjoyed it so much I had three. The matcha cocktail and skinny margarita were also excellent. The cucumber cocktail wasn't for us, but overall the bar program impressed. The atmosphere was interesting. The dining room felt heavily influenced by Japanese design, with deep red tones, an open kitchen, and bar seating that reminded me of an omakase counter. It was intimate without being stuffy, and tables were spaced far enough apart that conversations remained private. The music blended into the background perfectly and never competed with the dining experience. That said, I didn't find the seating particularly comfortable, and while the room was attractive, it didn't feel especially luxurious or uniquely Miami. Where the experience fell short was service and pacing. At one point, our waiter walked away while someone in our party was still speaking and ordering. More importantly, there were long gaps between courses. While I understand that fine dining is meant to be enjoyed slowly, the pacing felt excessive. By the time dessert arrived, we were more tired than excited. I even asked for the dessert menu when our mains arrived because I anticipated the wait, but was encouraged to wait and enjoy the meal first. One detail I genuinely appreciated was the farewell gift at the end of the evening. As we were leaving, the staff handed us branded L'Atelier bags containing a packaged brownie with orange zest and shaved almonds. We were told to enjoy it with our morning coffee the next day. It was a thoughtful touch and a nice way to extend the experience beyond dinner. At over $1,400 for four people including gratuity, value is where I struggle most. The food was very good, and we left satisfied, but some details didn't feel consistent with the price point or a two-star Michelin experience. The silverware showed noticeable wear, service wasn't flawless, and while we left full, the portions were understandably small. I don't regret spending the money, but I'm not sure I would spend it again. Ultimately, I think L'Atelier is worth visiting if you're specifically interested in experiencing Michelin-starred dining. However, if someone were visiting Miami for the first time and asked where to have one unforgettable dinner, I would probably recommend a restaurant that better captures Miami's scenery, atmosphere, and energy. I'm glad I experienced it, and there are a few dishes I still think about--especially the caviar spaghetti and the soufflé--but for me this was more of a "worth doing once" experience than a restaurant I would return to again and again.

The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.

I ended up ordering like 4 different desserts. Chunky!! I know. Every single dessert was soo yummy! My favorite was the Nutella croissant, they load it up with a nutella filling. As a salty option, I had the ham and cheese croissant. The bread was so fluffy, you can tell they make their croissants fresh. My husband had like an egg soufflé, he said it was very good and had lots of flavor. We both had the Nutella latte, I had mine hot because it was cold outside. While my husband had his iced, his came with a macaroon on top. Super cute! Overall, everything was wonderful. The service was great! I would definitely come back to try other goodies!!

After being regular customers for so long, we simply asked for a replacement because the drink we received tasted awful and did not meet our expectations. Instead of trying to resolve the issue or accommodate a reasonable request, our replacement was immediately refused without any effort to help. It is very disappointing when customer loyalty is not valued, especially after consistently supporting a business over time. A simple gesture could have turned a negative experience into a positive one, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The lack of customer care, flexibility, and appreciation for loyal customers has led us to make the decision not to return. In a city like Miami, there are countless places that offer not only great food and drinks, but also exceptional service, where customers are always treated as a priority. Sadly, this was not our experience at Bonjour Bakery. No matter how good a place may be, customer service is what truly builds long-term relationships and keeps people coming back. We hope Bonjour Bakery reconsiders its approach to customer care in the future.
