We were in town for a Chrismas getaway. We showed up 5 minutes before closing and asked if we could get some food. The lady working said absolutely. She made our food and drinks and stayed 15 minutes past closing. The food was great and the coffees were good as well. Great staff and food. read more

Stopped in for a mocha and a breakfast wrap. The young lady who took my order was properly masked but while I waited a second employee arrived and wandered around the place with her mask below her chin. This is not a way to keep customers safe. Ironically I had come to Deltaville to go to Hurd's amazing hardware, gift apparel store and it was closed with a sign on the door that they had become aware that a customer had tested positive for COVID and were closing and deep cleaning as a precaution. read more

I went there for the first time today for breakfast. Everything was amazing! I had an everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheese, and my kids had the waffle sandwich with sausage egg and cheese. We also had muffins. There's not many places in the area for quick food besides 7-11 so this was very nice and reasonably priced. read more

OK but not great. DH and I stopped in for a quick lunch. They offer a selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads and fresh baked goods, all reasonably priced. It's conveniently located and looked like a great place to stop. For my lunch, I decided on the chicken salad on a croissant with a side and freshly brewed iced tea. I asked for no tomato but I got it anyway. No big deal as I can always pick it off but it still slightly annoys me when waitstaff does not bother listening to me (it was not busy). I also found the chicken salad to have too much pickle for my taste. DH got the "bag lunch special". For $5, you get a ham/turkey sandwich on Texas toast with chips and your choice of a drink. He thought his sandwich was fine and his lunch a good deal for $5. As DH and I were eating there, I wondered why my sandwich was served to me in a giant styrofoam container (it came with nothing else so the rest of the container was empty). It seems to me to be wasteful (their trash can was full of styrofoam) as well as an unnecessary expense for a small restaurant. Perhaps this is something they may want to rethink. IMHO, Cafe by the Bay is probably a better option for morning coffee and a muffin or other breakfast option (they open at 6am). Plus, they have wi-fi, which is great since Verizon coverage in Deltaville is a tad spotty. read more

Love this place! I have come her fore years and they never disappoint. Great coffee and amazing breakfast sandwiches. I just recently tried their lunch which you can get to go. My friends called ahead for our fishing trip and had sandwiches made for all of us. So much better than us trying to make them at home - and so much tastier than we could have done! The new owners are not doing to good. The sandwiches are poorly made, and they constantly mess up orders. They state on the website that breakfast is served all day, but when you go to order they don't?? The panini i recently ordered had one piece of meat and was drowning in mayonnaise. Everything is "food service" quality ( think pre-cooked cubed chicken from a 5 lb bag)I don't believe they can prepare anything on site other than using a microwave and a toaster oven, which is a shame as I bet the staff could make this much better if allowed. read more

Was skeptical at first just because there aren't many good places in the area. Went in and ordered as roast beef sandwich hot. Wasn't the fastest time to prepare it but it was pretty packed and had a few people in front of me prior to me walking in and ordering. I got the sandwich and boy oh boy . I have to admit we were expecting more of a "dine in" type place rather than "get it and go", so it caught us a little off guard. For eat in options, they do have a porch with a couple tables and chairs out front, and inside they have two small tables in the back. That's all. You order at a counter, deli style, and wait for your food. My husband and I stopped here for breakfast and were disappointed when they were out of many of the menu items, but I wasn't too unhappy with the food. It could have been a little more economical for what it was - egg beater eggs on toast, wrapped in aluminum foil. It was just over $15 for 2 small breakfast sandwiches, a coffee, and a smoothie. We ended up here because we were unfamiliar with the area, and heard that this was the only place that served breakfast in town. The food was OK, and service was fast and friendly, but I can't see us going back for breakfast. Maybe we'll try lunch and be more impressed! ;-) read more

Cafe by the Bay was amazing!!!!!! We ordered 12 sandwiches for our wedding party and they were amazing!!!!! I called two days before and when we came to pick them up they were labeled by name and sandwiches and all ready to go!!!!!!! Not one mistake!!!!!! We also went there for coffee and a breakfast sandwich before heading to our hair appointments and they were awesome as well!!! Average at best. I watched the "cook" handle trash then work the register handling cash then without washing her hands made my sandwich. When I asked her to throw it out, wash her hands and try again she refused. I asked for and received a refund, left and have never returned. Eat at your own risk. There's also the "cash only" policy. Really! There are low cost options for small businesses to process debit/credit purchases with nothing more than a smart phone. But, this business makes it's profit from the surcharge on the ATM machine they own at the front of the store. There aren't many choices in Deltaville for lunch mine are even fewer now. read more

Great staff, very friendly and welcoming! They have only been open for a few days. Wonderful coffee, they have no problem customizing their product to your liking (which is good because I'm a bit fussy). Breakfast sandwiches were great and the pastries & treats were yummy!
