It was a delicious oniony pancake/fritter with chunks of fish in it (Thanks Brendan B for letting me know they are Pataniscas and Pataniscas de Bacalhau in particular!) I also bought a fried (croquette ?) with savory chicken inside. It was the perfect mix of crisp and chewy outside and spiced chicken inside! I also had a delicious cappuccino (Every cappuccino I have had in South River is delicious) Loving my newly discovered secret place, South River, NJ. But Shhhhh don't tell anybody!
