This place is small but super cute and cozy. It's perfect for a chill brunch, a date, or even just to relax for a bit. We ordered the Mediterranean Sunset and Dragonfruit Mule (non-alcoholic), and both drinks were refreshing. The White Cheddar Mac & Cheese and Smoked Gouda Arancini were really good, and everything looked great presentation-wise. The Seaside Cod was also a solid option, very balanced with potatoes and salad. The Biscoff Cinnamon Roll was the star--highly recommend it. Overall, a very aesthetic and peaceful spot. I honestly don't think there was any espresso in my drink, it tasted like straight sugar and milk. I was really excited to try this place and had high hopes, but the experience was so disappointing I actually considered asking for a refund... and then decided I'd rather just get out of there. The space clearly isn't big enough for what they're trying to do, and you can tell the kitchen staff is struggling in a makeshift setup. Everyone working there was very sweet and seemed to have good intentions, but it also felt like they're not being set up for success. We waited almost 15 minutes just to order and not because there was a long line. The staff just seemed completely overwhelmed and backed up. We ordered tiramisu and cookie butter lattes, and it took another 15 minutes to get them. When they finally came, both drinks tasted like milk and sugar. I genuinely think they forgot to add espresso. At that point, the place was so packed and chaotic that we didn't even bother saying anything, we just left and went across the street for bagels and coffee instead. Ive had brunch here twice and grabbed a quick coffee another time. Nice quaint space and very cozy, walking distance within my neighborhood. Staff is nice and I havent been disappointed. Perla is a friendly lil spot in the main Woodbridge hamlet. We stopped on our way out of town, hoping to find an inventive latte to fuel us for our road trip. They had a tiramisu latte on their menu, & I was immediately sold. I had a seat at the coffee bar while I waited. The interior is bright & cheerful but (personal opinion incoming) a little tacky. Fake flowers everywhere. Good drinks take time & so did our lattes - but they were delicious. The ice to drink ratio was a lil wonky (not enough ice) but the taste & balance was superb. Lovely place - and halal :) We managed to find parking on the street close by around 130pm on Saturday. The place was half full and I love the decor. We were greeted and seated promptly, and after having our order taken I looked around. Can't speak on the bathroom cleanliness or design but I did notice when the door opened they have the florals in there as well. I got a Mediterranean sunset mocktail which was refreshing and not overly sweet nor overly tart. My husband got the tiramisu latte which looked delicious. I got the amore panini (essentially a chicken parm) and I was stuck between that or the La Familia, which I'd want to try next time. I don't think Perla will ever see me as a customer again. First of all it's a beautiful spot in a cute downtown Main Street. I came here specifically because I was craving a PANINI and saw they had it on their menu. I could tell service was casual as there was only 1 barista & another floater staff so I was not expecting 5 star waiting service however this is the part that was extremely distasteful. My panini came out as a regular sandwich and when I got up to bring that attention to the main staff person she said "oh yea our panini machine is broken, so we call them a PANINO now, ( when she saw the disappointment in my face) "did you want want us to take to the back and try to make it flatter ..." ( I assume this was sarcasm) my thing is why not tell me the machine is broken before I ordered... a panini is fundamentally different than a regular sandwich. What a gem! I was on my way back home from a work trip and I was looking for a coffee shop with the artisan espresso drinks that I love but one that also offered a real meal. I was so happy to have found Perla Coffee on my route home. I had the cookie butter latte and it was one of the best I've ever had. I also had the Savory Croissant and it was a real meal. I was the only one there because it was morning on a week day however there is plenty of seating for multiple guests. The only thing I would say is that the prices are on the higher side but that is how the market is now and there's nothing they can really control. Heard so many good things about this spot but I was left underwhelmed. I ordered the lavender matcha which tasted like plain milk, no matcha and no lavender flavor. Assuming that the panini was flat and thin, I alsoordered the balkania panini but I was wrong. It was basically thick baguette bread. The potatoes could be a little more crispy and it was a bit dry, but it was well seasoned. The toast had nothing on it, so I'm not sure what the intention of having it was, but I liked that it was perfectly toasted and crunchy. The Blueberry Jewel cocktail was so refreshing! Love the ginger in it since it gave a tiny hint of bite. I was worried about the lemonade in it being too sweet, but it wasn't at all. Happy Monday Adventurers! This place is the perfect addition to downtown Woodbridge. While I am not a fan of the increase and amount of new people in my hometown, I am however excited to see what is being brought commercially. Years ago we had a coffee shop with huge comfy chairs (think Friends), but now it's Main News. But this place is super exciting because of how adorable the flower display is. It's very New York and very on par for welcoming the newer residents. I brought a friend here intending to use the flyer 10% off but completely forgot it at home. They offered honor but I decided to save for a later date. The place is small but it has cute coffee bar seating, front window seating, as well as tables in the rear of the business. I grabbed the Balkania Panini which was soo good and my friend grabbed the Perla Panini which he literally devoured LOL. I also order Mediteranian mocktail(they DO NOT serve alchool), which was refreshing with my meal. The parking can be a pain since it's main but then again go to JC and you'd see worse. I've noticed Perla for many weeks now as I drive through Main Street fairly regularly in my commute. The cafe front is eye catching with the beautiful blooms and fancy font. Once it opened, I noticed how warm and welcoming it looked inside, even from afar in my car. Today I finally found time to visit! My mom treated me to breakfast for my birthday and I chose Perla. As soon as we walked in, I loved it. The decor is very feminine and inviting. The chairs are so stylish and comfortable. While there are so many cute elements (an old fashion motor bike at the front entrance) it manages to stay tasteful and clean not at all cluttered. Most importantly- FOOD! Let's get down to business. My mom and I always enjoy sharing a sweet and savory dish so we ordered the Sunrise tacos- super fresh, very delicious, and the brownie bliss waffles- great flavors, would have liked the waffle to be a little crispier, I think next time I'll try it as a crepe (you have the option of waffle or crepe for all the flavor profiles in that section). You can't talk about a cafe without talking COFFEE. My mom is a major coffee drinker, loves it and drinks it daily. She ordered a latte with caramel flavor and found it delicious. I couldn't resist trying it because they made a beautiful foam heart on top, so I tried some and had to get my own. Now, I am NOT a coffee drinker, so I'm not sure if that convinces you on how good it was or makes you want to run away, but it was damn good! I ordered the cookie butter latte and I was not disappointed and I drank it all. Overall a lovely experience! The staff was super nice and made sure we were having a great experience. Last but not least- the Blueberry Jewel mocktail, first of all I love that they have a nice selection of mocktails, the Blueberry Jewel was recommended to me by our very helpful and friendly waitress, Rica. We walk in and we were told to pick a table so we did. We then sat there for over 20 minutes before anyone came over to us. Ordered our coffee , water and food. Took another 15 minutes for the coffee to come and the server insisted on waiting for the coffee to be done to bring us our water. Food comes out and we don't have plates, silverware or napkins. My boyfriend had to get it from an empty table next to us and the server didn't seem to care or realize that we had to do that at all. The server never came back over to check on us nor did she ever come back and ask if we needed the check. We then had to go to the counter and wait to pay for our meal. I have a list of requirements for a good coffee shop: beautiful setting, smooth tasting coffee, flavors that aren't overly sweet & hospitable staff. Perla checked off all these boxes and more, making it my new go-to in Woodbridge. The space was bright and open, providing the perfect setting to sit, have a snack and do some work. The coffee surprised me by being not too sweet, especially for one of their specialty lattes. We tried the tiramisu & french toast coffees and it was love at first sip. The flavors were perfectly balanced, unique (because where else are you finding a tiramisu coffee!) and were well worth it for the price in my opinion. While waiting for my coffee I watched the patrons around me with their crepes & brunch plates and immediately felt a sense of jealousy that I didn't have the time to sit and dine in that day. Service was fine but we asked the waitress twice for water which she never brought. I think it would be better if it were only counter service instead of having both table service and counter. Ambiance was nice but they need to adjust some tables so they're not so close together- there is enough space but the table we were at (right next to the counter) was almost touching two other tables and the hosts keep having to squeeze between us. The key is that there is space for them to spread out the tables while maintaining space for walking so didn't make much sense. read more

Saw this place on a reel on Instagram and had to try it. Not very familiar with this area or part of Woodbridge. Right on Main Street. There was street parking which was easy. We sat in the front area before the restaurant because we were just getting coffees. The pace was crowded and new people kept coming in. Came here for breakfast this morning. We ordered a flat white with almond milk and a latte with oat milk. Taste was fine, presentation was a little wonky with the latte art. Oddly, the latte didn't come with a saucer but the flat white did. I had an avocado toast and my partner had the Perla panini. The avocado toast was on whole wheat bread, with sliced avocado and two fried eggs. A little disappointed with the assembly, the bread was normal store bought sandwich bread, I had to smash the avocados to make it easier for eating, and the eggs were fried in a circular mold making it appear a bit childish. The panini was good, I liked that they used Turkey bacon instead of pork, as I don't consume pork. The chips on the side were a bit out of place at 9:30 in the morning. We got our check and they charge a credit card fee so we opted for cash. It was an okay experience, almost $50 for everything, so I probably wouldn't come again. read more

I had breakfast at Perla in Woodbridge over the weekend and, unfortunately, left feeling a bit disappointed. I ordered the Burrata Toast with Smashed Avocado, and while the presentation was nice, the portion left much to be desired. The avocado was spread very thinly on a single slice of multigrain bread, topped with cherry tomatoes, a small piece of burrata, and balsamic glaze. For the price, I was expecting either two slices of toast or a more generous layer of avocado--something to justify the cost. I also tried a hot matcha latte, but the ratio of matcha powder to milk felt off. The drink started strong, and by the time I reached the bottom third, it was too concentrated to enjoy. I was excited to try Perla as a new breakfast spot close to home, but my expectations weren't quite met this time. I do hope to give them another try later this year and see if they've improved because the concept and menu have potential. read more
