Taco salad, honestly, the best taco salad I've ever had! Great portions, great price. You must go get some delicious Mexican food!!

This place is incredible! You must go! You would never think a restaurant, placed right along side a gas station would be so the food is delicious!! The Chef Jennifer was delightful. A young entrepreneur that has made herself one that can compete right up there with the big Mexican restaurants in town!! Get it to go and go across the street to Riverwalk Park to sit and have your picnic lunch watching the beautiful Halifax river sites! Today I had a taco salad. The sour cream, avocado sauce, or dressing was so huge, delicious and different than anything I have ever tasted! Best taco salad everTell her Terri from Gather2Grow sent you

Chorizo, egg and cheese - Mexican style muffin. OUTSTANDING!

I had stumbled upon this little gem while driving around weed buying a soda at a convenience store. The convenience store had a kitchen on one side. I was completely blown away with the made to order - muffin chorizo, egg and cheese. The chorizo had the perfect kick but not overly spicy. The muffin is not your common English version. Mexican style muffins were toasty yet soft. Great flavors and pretty big. I will be going back.

Excellent shrimp tacos, fresh made to order. Quick and kind service, great hidden gem in Port Orange!! Tried two sauces the medium and Border Patrol, liked them mixed better than separate but both equally tasty. Place had a steady stream of people. Give them a try!

Amazingly fresh. The best you're going to get and the price point is great. Jennifer, owner/chef, has a very creative way of bringing the street cart flavors of Mexico to you. An absolute must try

We had high hopes on our first visit to this restaurant, but alas, this will be our last visit too…read more Here's what we didn't like: 1) We walked in the restaurant to an empty hostess desk, ok, not unusual really, but we waited and waited while other folks piled up behind us. Finally, here she comes hurriedly and seats us at a two top. 2) There we sat...and waited...and waited...and waited. Servers flying back and forth past us, like chickens with their heads cut off it seemed, they were stressed and rushed and seemed weirdly confused. 3) Nobody brought water. I flag one of those servers and ask for water, by then desperately needed. 4) Server comes back to the table after 10 mins. We order the Fajitas for 2. Eventually, what seemed like the cook, brought the dish out to us on a sizzling hot platter, a side of rice, beans, quac, lettuce, tomato and 3, yes 3, tortillas. Zero serving utensils. We wait. Our server was AWOL again. Finally, I ask another server passing by if we could please have some utensils. She brings them after a few mins. 5) We eat the 3 tortillas and 2/3 of the hot platter is still left. Need more tortillas. Have to ask for them. Weird that the dish is for 2 ppl, the price reflects that, and you get 3 tortillas to split between you. 6) Husband ordered a bottled water. Got charged 2.50 for a Dasani water when in reality it was just a generic bottle of water. 7) No condiments on the table, no hot sauce, no salt, no pepper. 8) Piped in music was obnoxious, too loud and annoying. We heard Maniac and other head thumping tunes from the 80s that just didn't fit the atmosphere at all. Decor was half nice, colorful on the walls, but they have those cheap colored paper placemats hanging from the ceiling so nothing special there either. In short, food was just eh, ok, nothing special, but the service absolutely stunk. They really need to get their act together. We went well before any dinner rush and the place was not full by any stretch. I can't imagine what they go through when dinner hour hits but we won't be back to find out.

The service is excellent and the employees are very friendly. My one complaint still stands. They make you now buy bottles of water instead of just giving you a glass of tap water. I think that's very unfair because people who eat here sometimes have to save a little bit of money. So sometimes they don't buy drinks because drinks could add 30% or more to your bill. This is the only place I know where they won't give you a glass of tap water because they want to make money off of everything. That aside I love the food here and will obviously continue to eat here but I won't buy drinks here for that specific reason. To me it takes away from the Integrity of a restaurant that will not offer tap water but make you buy bottled water. If I buy a bottle of their tap water for a buck 50 I can go next door to perrine's and buy a whole case for four bucks.

Had to pay $3.50 for a taco because I wanted soft. Brought me wrong order. Brought me my to go order to eat in. If she had a paper to write order on instead of writing it on her hand maybe order would have been right. She was on phone alot. Another table came in, got drinks and had to wait to have their order taken because waitress went out back door for about 10 minutes to be on phone. Wanted tamales originally and was told they wouldn't be ready until the evening. Then the bills came. Put my friend's meal on my credit card when she gave her cash for her meal and took her forever to get her change. Worst service ever and will never ever eat there again. Will return to Dahlia's on Dunlawton where you get 1/2 price tacos and includes your unlimited chips and salsa and depending on what tacos you order it includes your rice and or beans. I could have gotten 3 lunches at Dahlia's compared to the crappie one meal to eat in and one meal to take out. Can't understand how they have been open so long. I wish there was a negative number below 1 to rate that place.

This particular one we went to two days in a row. We almost always get the chimichanga, but this visit we tried a few other menu items. We liked the atom bombs which are kind of like a jalapeño popper flauta as a starter. I got their tacos which I enjoyed, even more so because they're hard shells and it's not that easy finding places that do that outside of Taco Bell. For dessert we tried the churro fries with chocolate sauce and they did not disappoint! Would be nice to have a chain in GA, but until then we'll continue to carve out at least one visit every trip.

Well, it was about what I would expect from a fast food franchise type place. First off, the chips were very flat and plain. No seasoning, no salt, no crunch. The salsa seemed fresh but watery. My taco was ok but there was way too much paprika on the fish which threw off the taste. The fish itself was flaky, well-cooked but it was overwhelmed by the topping. The one saving feature of the taco were the pickled onions. Now those were done well. As for the rest of the meal, the portions were small which was ok since I didn't like the rice or the beans. Again, not a lot of good flavors. No real seasoning to the rice which was dry, and the beans were lackluster. I've had Tijuana Flats before from a different location and was sorely disappointed by this one.
