What a hidden gem tucked away on smith and sackett. I almost didn't want to write a review because then this place will start to get overcrowded like the other places on smith.... But I guess I will share the joy. This place is so pleasant and humble. Feels like someone's apartment and moms home cooking type vibes lol. Great little snacks, treats, coffee, smoothies, juices, ramen burgers, brunch items, matcha items and teas. My new favorite spot !

Cute Cozy cafe. Service was friendly. We got a Iced Macha latte and Latte. The decor is beautiful/classy. Can totally recommend it and we will definitely be coming back again.

Cute little neighborhood coffee shop with friendly staff, fair prices, and a peaceful, well-lit working area! I got an iced soy milk cappuccino for $5.45. They have an extensive food menu as well, with smoothies and toasts. Will definitely be back to read / work here.

Such a lovely little cafe. The inviting and quiet cafe is tucked away just off of Smith street. Great drinks, soothing decor and nice staff.

I swung by to grab a cold brew while out for a walk, and it was delightful!

People have left some odd reviews of this place, including a one-star review for the restaurant…read moreapparently being highly politicized--a vibe I neither felt nor could visually identify within or without the establishment. I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask. I think it's definitely worth checking out, and it's a good place for a cheap & simple meal that's still quirky and fun.

I have wanted to try this spot for some time, and wound up a bit disappointed with what I tried…read more They feature a tahini cold brew, which features two things I love dearly, but instead of a rich cold brew it was overly sweet and icy--more like a slushie. Perhaps I should have anticipated that, or my mistake in ordering. I also ordered a Moroccan egg salad sandwich which was substantive but surprisingly bland--sparse with the advertised capers and pickled red onions to give it more punch. I've always loved the look of the spot and the vibe--funky decor, outside and indoor facing counters to order, with some outdoor seating for people watching on Dekalb or heading nearby Ft. Greene Park. I see they are renovating and rebranding a bit and adding some burger component. While I didn't love it, I'd definitely give it another shot.
