I was out running errands and didn't want to go home yet so I stopped by to check out the place. It was dead. There was no one there. There were four people there but two of them were male workers and the other two were their girlfriends? Girl friends? The menu board is a cute idea but the writing is rather small and for someone who can't read small print and forgot to bring her glasses, it was hard. One of the workers explained the menu to me, which wad nice, but I still couldn't read it. I ended up just asking the worker for his recommendation and he recommended the fusion crepe. I also ordered a medium mango smoothie. The smoothie and crepe were made quickly and they were both really good. The crepe really hit the spot. It really bothered me that the workers weren't working but were sitting around and socializing with the two girls instead but I guess I understand. Bad first impression when you drive up and there are 2 young men smoking outside the front door. Particularly disliked all the cigarette butts lying around, too. Turns out one of the young men was working here! He walked in immediately behind me and was very courteous when taking my order. No one here except a couple of people working on their computers but at 4:15 pm, that's no surprising. Clean, minimalistic design. Latte served in a large porcelain cup with a saucer. I thought this place was great! So great that I don't have very much to say. I was greeted promptly by the young man working behind the counter I ordered and he started immediately on it. My crepe was great! It's nice to find anywhere around here that offers them, and even less common one that makes them correctly! My coffee was also surprisingly good! topped with cotton candy instead of sweetened with sugar which I thought was super cute! Honestly the best Crepes my fiancé and I have ever had. We have been around the country and usually like to try different desserts, crepes being a big favorite. I would not recommend this place. My boyfriend and I went for the first last week and based on the reviews I thought this place was going to great. Not all. The coffee had a burnt taste. My wife and I were disappointed they did not open at the time posted on the door. We got there about 10:40am on a Friday and it was still locked up. We waited around for a bit and as we were driving away, someone showed up and went in. A few family members and I came when it had just opened up and it was fairly early so we were the only ones here. Atmosphere: The dark wood flooring and overrall design gives off the comfy "sit in an armchair, with your favorite book, and a cup of coffee," vibe. Through a vague explanation of an outdated menu, you will end up paying more than needed for food that is in fact not worth it. The crepes here are overpriced with no guarantee to the cleanliness of the fruits that are used within the crepes. We were in the area and we're craving dessert. This place had the highest ratings so we decided to check it out. The inside was nice and cozy and has pretty decoration. We decided to go with the Pineapple Sunshine mocktail and the blueberry smoothie. For our dessert craving we chose two crepes: one with strawberries and Nutella, and the other with strawberries, banana, and whipped creme. We were the only ones in the cafe ordering (there was a couple who had already finished eating). I am saying this because the crepes were cold. Also, he crepes were TINY. It seemed to us that one crepe had been cut into two halves and each of us got one half. We were not impressed at all. We spent $30 on two drinks and two (half, cold) crepes. I'm not quite sure I understand the appeal of this place. The staff is friendly, but the crepe menu is confusing and I had trouble understanding exactly what I was ordering. I wound up asking for a banana and nutella crepe...and was served a crepe that had chocolate chips, ice cream, canned whipped cream, bananas, and no nutella as far as I could tell. I think I ordered from the wrong side of the menu? Or maybe I as misunderstood? I went ahead and took the order, though, since it's a tiny business and it seemed crappy to ask them to remake something when there's a good chance I ordered wrong. The crepe was fine, but felt kind of like a kid's ice cream sundae-- cheap vanilla ice cream and more whipped cream than anything else. It was quite pretty, though. I also ordered a latte, which was incredibly watery and weak. The woman at the counter noticed that I hadn't finished my drink or food and, to her credit, dashed to the parking lot-- I suspect to try and rectify the situation, but I'd run into an old friend and she wound up just giving me a wave. While the food and drinks weren't for me, I do appreciate this level of care and concern.
