Lots of neon with the angst of chaos amongst the stickers and art. I felt very at home, and this was the perfect venue to host ska music. She is 100% trying to influence you. Edit after the owner response calling me a Clown. Bartender and owner: you are in the service industry. Always such a vibe at Cafe Davincis! Adore coming here on a Friday or Saturday night. Love the ambiance, live music, outdoor bar/seating/pool table and an indoor bar & pool table room. Great memories are made here with friends and family. I believe children are welcome before 9pm and then after 9 they ask for ID. Dogs are welcome before a certain time too! I ordered a beer, and the price was reasonable. It's great because you can bring food in from the Taco Stand outside. In between artists, you can walk out to Georgia Ave and get some space. A small, hidden alley way in Downtown Deland! This place is a great hangout for anyone. It has an indoor and outdoor bar, and has a food truck at the entrance of the plaza. There's live music, pool tables and you're welcomed to bring your furry friends inside. This place is not ideal for when it rains because it's mostly outdoor seating. Drinks are pretty expensive compared to other places around the area. I would like to acknowledge the taco/nacho food truck outside though. This is a great bar! Just got back home from Los Angeles & was just looking to have a few drinks with old friends & stumbled across this nice looking out door cafe, lucky us they have a bar ! The best part is the fenced courtyard out back. It's beautifully decorated and has a separate bar. There is always live music and plenty of great people. Been looking for a friendly diverse and accepting bar with a good vibe when visiting the parents in nearby Deltona. Until Cafe DaVinci we always felt like we did not belong. Yelp and Facebook reviews led us to this place and it's quickly become our go-to bar. Our first night in happened to be their weekly Pride night (Tuesdays). All of the bartenders have been friendly anrecognize us and remember how we take our drink when we walk in. Prices are reasonable $4-$7 vodka calls. Live music many nights on their large outdoor patio, but the inside has a jukebox with a good variety catalog. The neighborhood is cute, historic, and walkable with ample parking and even a Friday night market. Highly recommend. read more

I really enjoyed this place. I thought the people were very friendly... I ordered a coke and went to pay for it and the bartender said it was on the house. Not sure why as I didn't ask, but DeLand is very friendly towards the military and I had a POW/MIA hat on, so it might have been a policy towards the military, but was more likely just a kind gesture by the bartender. Very cool place in downtown DeLand area. It is a bar attached to an antique shop on one side, and then part of a bigger patio garden hangout on the other side. They have a few pool tables where the bar is and then you can head to the outside area (dogs allowed) where there was plenty of seating (on a Saturday afternoon at least) and another pool table in a covered garage area, and a stage out there as well. Definitely a fun hangout chill atmosphere. The antique store was pretty cool, too..plenty of vintage finds, had a lot of doors, window panes, and shutters if you're on the lookout for those items along with plenty one of a kind types of things as well. Bartender was nice, strong drinks, good service, clean bathrooms! Another great find in the downtown DeLand district! Of course you have.... but have you also been able to go to that venue and scower an antique shop at the same time? No not unless you have been here! Such a cool idea and a great way to spend a day. Well vodka sodas for under $4 that won't leave you all hung over; yes please. Located in down town Deland, this is a must stop if you are in town to have a few. There is a great selection of draft beer as well. Street parking is your only option, but that is par for the course here, so make sure you come by and have a few drinks. Great show last night with Ben prestage, outside stage area is nice but not enough chairs. The heaters are a nice touch with the chilly temperatures. Beers are expensive and not s great variety. Staff is distinct and doesn't acknowledge customers. Bathrooms are nice, a lot of younger twenties but because of the music there were a few of the older crowd. Cafe DaVinci is what downtown DeLand is all about!! The inside is a cute, little intimate art bar- perfect for a 1st date. They display canvases painted by local artists with reasonable price tags. They serve rare craft beers in the bottle and on draft, regular domestics & a full liquor bar. What makes this bar OUTSTANDING would be the outside area out back. There's another bar, several round cast iron tables with cast iron chair & a nice sized stage for local talent. I absolutely had a ball here. It was unexpected. Driving through DeLand can be such a quiet drive thought a quaint little town. Saturday night, I almost forgot that I was in DeLand (in a very good way). At night, it was lively, the crowd was laid back, and it was just nice to be outdoors in such an unassuming setting. Live music was on point.. Blues, soul, funk, and Motown sounds kept me dancing throughout the night. The drinks were okay (I tend to like a heavy pour). The one less star because my "captain and coke" could've had a bit more rum in it. My all time absolute favorite bar! I started going to davincis years ago, b when I was going through a divorce. That bar got me through some tough times. Love Monday night karaoke night with Al! A highlight especially nowadays that it's on the stage outside. Every Friday and Saturday they have some of the best local and national bands playing. The staff is second to none. I can't choose a favorite bartender, because they all rock! I would say that Darcy and Chelsea though have special places in my heart. The bouncers are on top of their game, and keep the place safe! The owner walks around a lot and is approachable and very kind to everyone. The atmosphere at Cafe Davinci is awesome. The outside area is where it's at. And in the winter they put out heaters, in the summer portable air conditioners. It's a great night of people too. Being that DeLand is a college town, you get the Stetson people, also you get the professors there, there's an amazing mix of people. I don't care of your black, white, liberal, conservative, whatever you are, you will feel comfortable here and find like minded people. Honestly, there nothing about this place that I can criticize. I cannot overstate the coolness of this bar/performance venue. It is located next door to an architectural salvage store, and the courtyard outside is filled with all sorts of ancient odds and ends, with strings of light bulbs strung between the trees. There's a great selection of live music several nights a week, as well as a great selection of beer and wine. (On nights with music there is typically a $5 cover.) The staff is friendly, as are most of the other people you'll meet here. Far and away the best place to spend a late night in Deland. read more
