Chicken bacon avocado sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both were delish

My grandmother and I stopped in last Saturday for lunch. Sat outside by the planes. Was a beautiful day. Service was great. Very attentive & polite. All the food was on point. My mimosa was good as well def could be alittle fuller though. Deck should be completely redone. Still very unsafe pcs sticking up causing lots of tripping hazards. We had a wonderful time we will be back.

What an interesting restaurant located at the airport! You can enjoy a nice meal while watching planes taking off and landing and best of all - skydivers! There's indoor and outdoor seating with full bars in both areas and TVs playing sports. We ordered Fried Green Beans as a starter which were so good, I could have made that my meal! Both of us ordered the Grouper sandwich, mine grilled and my husband's blackened which were absolutely delicious. Chips accompany the lunch sandwiches. BTW, these sandwiches are huge and I could only eat half. The rest will be my dinner tonight. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is rustic and busy. This is a popular local spot. Gotta check this place out - you won't be disappointed!

The blackened grouper wasn't that good. Salads were ok. Worth a try if you have never been near airport, other then that not a return imo.

The ambiance was inviting, stylish, and felt like the perfect setting for a weekend experience with friends. The food overall was good. The shrimp and grits were definitely the highlight for me full of flavor and well done. The steak, however, wasn't my favorite and didn't quite hit the mark. The fruit bowl was exactly that fruit in a bowl nothing special but fresh. The banana pudding was delicious and a sweet way to end the meal. The service was a bit inconsistent, which I believe was due to the waitress being very busy. There were a few moments where we waited longer than expected for menus, straws, or even water. While noticeable, it didn't completely take away from the experience and felt more like a staffing issue than a lack of care. Overall, I would absolutely return for brunch with friends. The atmosphere alone makes it worth another visit, and with the right company, it's a great spot to enjoy a relaxed and beautiful brunch experience.

For appetizers, we tried the coconut shrimp, Table tots, spinach dip, and charcuterie. Everything was fantastic except the shrimp, which were a bit overcooked. The rest of the starters were flavorful and well prepared. Most of our group ordered the NY strip since they were out of the filet, while others chose the meatloaf, mushroom pasta, and a few other dishes. Portions were generous and the food was tasty. While the strip wasn't the best I've had, it was cooked perfectly. Dessert was a bit hit or miss. We tried all the pies -- most were decent and nicely presented, though nothing stood out. The salted caramel cheesecake had a grainy texture rather than being smooth. Service was friendly, but a little rushed. Courses came out too quickly, making it hard to enjoy each one before the next arrived. The table became crowded with plates, and the pace felt chaotic at times. The server was kind and seemed possibly overwhelmed. Overall, a good meal with solid food, but pacing and a few execution details could use some attention.

I will update if this changes through my stay. My first stay was quite horrendous to say the least. Let's hope this stay is a lot better. Update: as I wake up in the morning and go to make my morning cuppa coffee, the Keurig doesn't work. Now, coffee is my life as stated on my page. I don't know what to do with myself as there is nobody working in the front desk, quite literally there is a sign. Disappointed in that. I went to go take a shower and my options were either scolding hot or freezing cold. So I awesomely got to choose between the two. That was pleasant. As stated in one of the pictures you can see that some of the paint is faded in a couple different areas in the room and the wood is showing underneath. Just some basic light maintenance needs to be tended to. And the lightbulbs need to be checked out before customers come into the room. Other than that, I am happy with the aesthetic of the junior suite. It is roomie and nicely decorated. I like the fact that the living room is sectioned off from the bedroom. Makes it feel like you're in your own little apartment versus being in a hotel. They seem to have made some upgrades since the last time I had stayed here. In the bathroom, they have amenities that they did not have before. So kudos to them. Now let's see how the rest of my stay goes! Oh, and Lindsay who works the front desk, rocks!

The ambiance is about half of what this place is all about. It's very Trader Sam's, including a lot of neat Disney memorabilia on the shelves on the walls behind the bar. You can come and enjoy a nice drink without getting alcohol. We also ordered a burger from their limited food menu. It was very good. Not in competition for best burger in Orlando or anything, but the flavors were on point, and bun was nice and soft, and the furikake dusted crinkle cut fries were the perfect side item. This place has such a unique, eclectic energy that's hard to find anywhere else: a perfect mix of cozy indoor bar, open-air courtyard with string lights and a massive lighted oak tree that gives it this magical, almost enchanted garden feel at night. It's got that laid-back, artsy DeLand charm but with enough edge to keep things exciting--think market lights twinkling overhead, pool tables outside, and a crowd that's always friendly and ready to have fun. The live music is what really sets it apart. They host original local bands, cover acts, rock, pop, R&B, throwback tunes, and everything in between almost every night--concerts start around 9 PM, and the energy ramps up fast. I've seen everything from killer rock bands to dance-floor fillers that get the whole place moving. And yes, people actually dance here! The courtyard turns into a real dance floor on busy nights--whether it's grooving to 70s classics, current hits, or feel-good empowerment anthems, it's impossible not to get pulled in. No stiff vibes; it's all about letting loose and enjoying the moment. The drinks are strong, reasonably priced (coldest beer in town, as they claim), and the bar staff is top-notch--super friendly, quick, attentive, and genuinely nice. Bartenders like Zach and the rest of the crew remember faces, crack jokes, make killer cocktails, and keep the good times flowing without ever making you feel rushed. The owner and team create this welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels like a regular, even on your first visit. Whether you're coming solo to catch a show, with friends for a night out, or just want a spot to chill with great music in the background, Cafe DaVinci delivers. It's more than a bar--it's DeLand's best original live music venue where you can drink local, dance local, and make memories. If you're in the area, especially on a Friday or Saturday, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't regret it--I've recommended it to everyone I know, and they all come back raving.
