Came in and was instantly greeted. The gals working the front were so kind and patient with me. One gal was cleaning while another was doing something else with the register which didn't bother me honestly. I was a little indecisive, being pregnant and all, I never know what I want anymore or should I say what baby wants. SERVICE REVIEW trust me. I work in this complex so I'm always in and out of here. Day shift is actually so mean won't acknowledge people coming in or out, its dirtier and slower, and as a women who is not a hot male gym goer again the service is awful and slow for me. The closing girls, especially the short one with dark hair are amazing, always in a good mood and chatty, not to mention super quick with the order and don't glare viciously at me for daring to come in while their at work?? So if you are a hot white man come on in here for some good service if not, don't even bother with the insulting glares and bad service you'll get for walking in during the day. read more

Rather disappointed in the employee letting their mask dangle from their ear. This employee did not make my drink the girl who did had a mask secured to her face thankfully. The smoothies are tasty, and whenever I'm in the mood for a thick shake, I just tell my barkeep to make it extra thick! The product is getting worse and the prices are going up! They don't even change the prices on the board. When you see the list and prices. The smoothie you thought was $5.25 is now $7+ I if the prices changed and said the board is wrong and the response I got was "yeah, it's been like that a couple months." I've seen the owner multiple times and he's never engaged with the customers unless he knows them. Overall ,they are an overpriced and under rated smoothie shop. read more

I've yet still found my myself annoyed time and time again with the poor service of getting orders correct. We've gone in multiple times and when a mistake is made it's usually handle well and made to be a win-win situation but I ordered a large 32 Oz and received a size smaller and not to mention it tasted fantastic but not enough to satisfy my belly. Thusly I finalize my review by giving it a 3/5. If they don't get their heads right though, I know a little smoothie place that isn't getting raptured. read more

I am a huge fan of emerald city smoothie but NOT this location. The guy who works here (I believe the owner) has been rude to me most every visit. Additionally, he charges extra money for any modification requests to the smoothies. .. if I'm paying $6 for a drink, I expect to be able to substitute blueberry for strawberry without a surcharge. Not only is he unpleasant to interact with, he makes the most watery, tasteless smoothies I've ever had. If I see him working, I now turn around and leave. Why waste the money? To be honest, I came here mainly because I was thirsty and just got a pedicure across the street. Also, I've been into juicing (no, not THAT kind) and just wanted to see what Emerald City Smoothie was all about. I had their Zip Zip and I ended up having to change the fruits since they were out of apples. Don't remember what I got, but it was really good! The only thing is... I'm not sure if it's from the protein or the bee sure, but I was extremely gassy later that night HAHAH If you're into regular smoothies... this is not your place, you're better off at Jamba Juice. If you're active and fit and want that extra boost, I think this is definitely up your alley. Service here was okay. The guy who rung me up was helpful in explaining what is what. I have ALWAYS been an emerald city smoothie fan for like 10 years now. I always note when new ones are built so I can make sure when I'm in the area, I have access to one nearby. It is a great meal replacement for myself when I'm out. This store particularly is the closest to my home. There is nothing wrong with the smoothies themselves, other than maybe someone not following the exact recipe. But the service has pretty much always been terrible (yes even from the manager, I know which one is the manager from coming here so long) especially when he is flustered. The girls in here are very snobby and rude. There was even a time where I walked in the store and there were maybe 2 people in front of me in line and just when it was my turn to order, a couple of guys walked in and the lady who was making smoothies ask them what they wanted right over the counter, like i haven't been standing here waiting to order. She continued on to make conversation with them (something i normally see). It would be a different story if they called in their order, but they literally just walked in and I know she saw me standing there. Not to mention when i ordered the lady seemed very uninterested and annoyed really as I'm trying to make small talk. There may be maybe one lady there who is very nice, but a lot of the "quality service" go to the men it seems. I try to go to different branches on my way home from work or the gym to avoid going to this store in particular. I just think to myself, like if you're going to be in the service business how about practicing customer service. I mean it really doesn't hurt you to be nice. read more

Definitely my favorite ECS location and I've been going into them for the past 12 years. Always well stocked and organized with friendly staff. The store recently took over new management and I love walking in and seeing shelves lined with high end supplements and snacks to go along with the all-over sports/fitness vibe. The owner works weekday mornings & he always is very knowledgable about the different smoothies & supplements the location offers. The majority of their smoothies/protein shakes are available in vegan and gluten free options, you just need to ask. They recently brought in a variety of "greens" options as well. My favorite smoothie has to be the Chocolate Lean Out. definitely worth putting into your daily routine. read more

So I usually LOVE this location. Usually the smoothies are perfect and the staff is amazing. Today neither of those things are true. The girls were so busy flirting with the male customers, they couldn't focus on making our smoothies properly. I also get the concept of promoting healthy smoothies, healthy bodies, etc. However, ass cheeks hanging out is not my idea of either....honestly, I'll be back cause its the only one in the area and the owner is nice, but it will be during the week, when I know I can get a great smoothie and I don't have to shield my child's eyes. read more

The only reason I am giving this 3 stars is because how under staff the place is especially on the weekends. We have came here twice a week for some time and it feels like lately it is only one gal working. She typically is working her tail off and has no one around to help with lines of customers waiting. It is nothing that she is doing wrong but something that management really needs to work on to get some help here. We waited in line for over 20 minutes and we watched customer after customer leave because how many people were waiting. I think it is in your best interest to hire more people and give that poor girl a raise! read more

I usually love emerald city, and have been going there for years. This location along with many others. After going there yesterday (12/05), I'm not sure if I will ever be able to return to this location. When walking in the door, i was NOT greeted, no hello or anything. As I approached the counter, I was looking at the menu for a few moments and the girl looked and me and asked "are you going to order something or not". I was shocked to say the less, and I asked for a few more moments, at this point the gal rolled her eyes, muttered something under her breath and walked up to the other person working with her and started talking. When it came time to order, I ordered my drink, I was not talked to at all when my drink was being made, no eye contact nothing, just a carried on conversation with the other worker. I got my smoothie, took a sip of it, and while it tasted good, it tasted completely different than the other times I had it. I asked the gal what her name was, she said KAYLA and I asked if they had a owners or a managers card that I could have and she said no. I asked when the manager would be working next and was told they were unsure. Manager if you see this, please fix this. I don't want to stop going to one of my favorite places, over bad customer service. The attitude problems at this establishment are out of this world. read more
