Great location right on the Stroget and close to several metro stations. Great place to meet a friend or people watch. Had delicious brunch salad and cafe latte. Friendly service.

This place is located in Strøget, which is a center shopping area and also a touristy area of the city. The prices are pretty expensive but this is Copenhagen, after all. I get it. The place has the option of sitting inside or outside, we opted for outside to people watch. Denmark, specifically Copenhagen is known for their open faced sandwiches (smørrebrød), so of course we have to get some here. This is Europe, so expect a long wait time and expect the waiter to let you sit as long as you like before getting the check. You won't get it unless you flag the waiter down, so that's what we did. The food was good, but nothing that impressive to me, personally. I got the chicken salad open-faced sandwich with bacon and my husband got the fish sandwich. It was a nice little stop, but nothing too impressive.

I guess this place is a bit touristy due to its location but the food was great. Brunch is more like tapas style. Small dishes. All super cute and pretty. The chef makes every dish very presentable and appealing to the eyes. I eat with my eyes, so pretty worka for me. Their "pancakes" which are more like crepes are delicious. It comes with ice cream and housemade jam. The brunch dish is an assorted of egg, ham, fruit. Everything you want in a brunch. So good. Service was a bit bumpy when our server forgot to put in my order and I had to wait extra.

The BFF and I stopped here for an afternoon tea and to also get in a good people watching session. There were plenty of outdoor patio spots so we grabbed a table. We both just had a couple of black teas, but it took some time for them to come take our order and then more time in the back end to get our check. No effort to check on us midstream. The tea was fine, kind of hard to mess that up, but second time here, and service is as slow as I remembered it to be the first time. Not rude, just slow.

I ordered a big apple juice and she ordered a big orange juice. It's said to be freshly pressed but I didn't look like it, 55kr each.

Cafe Europa 1989 is located at the center of Strøget. You can sit inside and outside. My friends and I prefer to sit outside in the summer because it gets really warm inside. The waiters are polite but the service takes long time. Every time I have been there, we have waited a long time for the check or for a drink. But the food is very tasty! The brunch for example is very delicious and good looking. But once I was there with my friend and I ordered a cappuchino, but it was cold when I got it and it was very small, compared to the price. So 3 stars from me. But the food has always tasted good here :)

First time there, ordered brunch, very delicious! LOVE the sausage in there, oh my goodness that was good! Lots of people prefer sitting outside when the weather is good so there're lots of space inside around 11 am. I had to wait quite a while to have someone get me an English menu and order, but food brought in quite fast. And the good taste it turned out, I'd say it's totally worth the waiting! Definitely will go back again!

Good coffee house. Plenty of choices and reasonable price. Across from the parliament. In the center of downtown with great location and street entertainment.

The place was nice and cozy. We came in a cold day and although it was very busy inside we managed to find a place. We had hot cocoa and coffee which were exactly what we needed at that moment. Overall: great location, good service, nice atmosphere.

Good place to have a lunch when being in Copenhagen City center. Typical french cuisine - usually good food :). As the cafe is well used by everybody in Copenhagen it can sometimes be difficult to find a table and get serviced.

Stopped here on a whim. The atmosphere is quaint. I had the vegetarian brunch and it was delicious! Overall, a very good experience.

They made us wait for 10 minutes and served us a warm cafe latte:-(.

A very good, albeit busy cafe. Excellent coffees and good cakes - strawberry tart was the best at the table and suits the espresso well!

Ok, folks here are the rules: 1. No resy's first come, first serve 2. 100 patrons can fit, seating is limited 3. Hours: Monday-Thursday, Friday-Saturday opens at 8pm, show starts at 9pm. You need time to grab a drink from the bar, no table service. Beer @60 krones 4. Setting: intimate and cozy. 5. Get there at least 30 minutes before showtime to be guaranteed a seat, hands stamped and pay 140 krones for entrance fee 6. Then..... sit, back, enjoy and let the jazz seep through your veins as it did mine. 7. Check their website for shows and time. ( sorry Yelp, hours listed were incorrect) I saw a great show with Jules Fisher and his very talented quartet ( see video). Absolutely wonderful! This is the type of jazz club I love, people listening to great jazz, humming a familiar tune, clapping, bopping and enjoying the show in an intimate setting. Sunday is free thus tonight what I'm paying for is my drinks and listening to great music. The entire staff are wonderful, cool, friendly and love being here. Love jazz, love La Fontaine! Location: a bit difficult to find: take M2 or M3 to Gammel Strand station, find Hermes shop and walk all the way down until you find La Fontaine. It is before Comedy Zoo place. La Fontaine has a small banner and entrance is behind a large wooden door. It is located on a little street, Kompenstrade.

Being a student in a technical university makes you meet with all sorts of people who like all sorts of places. The moose is a favorite for DTU people. So I have been several times drinking beers there and I have had a lot of fun in this little bar. You always meet new people here, everyone always seems happy, friendly and talkative in here. But if you are a cocktail kind of person just don't go there. It's a pure experience to visit the moose. I think it's the only bar in cph I know that never closes. Or was it that it closes for one hour to clean somewhere in the morning. Apart from that you can count on moose for a beer. Always. The beer is cheap (25dkk if I remember right). The only negative thing for me (positive for others) is that it is a smokey bar. So you can smoke as much as you want inside, which is a bit annoying for me as a non smoker.

You wouldn't get that in the UK in a bar no bigger than a large garage....it's not called cosy for nothing. And as a Dumb American, I don't have an immediate instinct for whether the prices are reasonable. My first drink was normal priced. But when the bartender saw that I wasn't pulling out my phone and doing calculations, he saw a chance to get away with thievery. My next drinks ratcheted up in price so that they were the equivalent of over $30 for a simple vodka soda. And because I wasn't doing math, I signed the credit card slips. Which means, of course, that I'm screwed. One charge later converted to $75.30 for two drinks (yep, I keep my receipts - I just didn't review them at the counter). So yeah, they cheated the stupid American. ha ha ha So if you also happen to be a "stupid American", avoid this den of thieves. There are a lot of good and decent Danes... just not at Cosy Bar.
