Small business with a couple tables that made for a very chill evening on a Tuesday. Besides a couple to go orders, we were the only two dining in. Service was so kind and friendly - and they even brought us a little dessert (probably because we were there so long haha). The chicken thali was delicious! I loved the variety and presentation. I enjoyed mixing bites of the spicy curry, creamy butter chicken and textured daal (lentils). The rice was cooked perfectly and the chutney like sauce at the top of the thali was sooo good. The fresh veg was pleasant to have between bites of warm, spicy curry. The gajar ka halwa (at least that is what it reminded me of - a carrot dessert) was amazing. Oh my word! This place is SO good! I had butter chicken. Lots of super tender small pieces of chicken in a mildly sweet sauce, with rice. Absolutely delicious! Hubby had the shrimp curry. He loved it. (I had the lamb curry a few days ago and it was amazing.) The best part (for me) is that it's all gluten free. We went last night, There were only two other customers who were finished and just chatting and ordered a hot tea before leaving. We went to the ordering tablet and ordered Pork Kungfu Chilli Dumplings, I had Butter Chicken and Naan-Bread and my Wife ordered the Lamb Thali. We also ordered a Hot Masala tea and a Mango Lassi. First thing is, the portions are deceptively LARGE. The dumplings are sweet, sour and light on the heat. Covered in sauce the stunningly seasoned pork is overpowered, I would ask for the sauce on the side, next time. The butter, chicken and naan bread; the naan-bread could have done with a couple more minutes being being fried, the butter chicken curry was heavy on the tomato, rich and creamy and a good amount of chicken. The lamb thali looked like a small portion, but was in fact perfectly sized. The beverages hit the spot. Overall, the food was delicious. Now the only issue that we had was that chef is working alone and it was 45 minutes before we got served simply because, he also had a telephone order that he was completing. The service was great, the restaurant is clean, cleaner than most strip mall restaurants. Until he gets other staff, I would strongly suggest a pick up order, as we will do next time we fancy Nepalese food. I don't think that there's any such thing as a cheap restaurant anymore. I placed an order to go over the phone. They told me it would be 20/25 min wait. I showed up 40 min after to pick up and my order still wasn't ready. The cashier was holding a baby, she told me to pay for my order on a tablet. She said my order was being packed, I still waited 10 min! No apologies no discount. Spicy momo's were delicious. Loved the goat. Had a rich smoky flavor. Chicken tikka was on point. The Dahl was very salty. Apparently, the Nepali like it with rice. Made it much better. Full disclosure: My husband brought some dumplings home for me because he and a friend drove by the restaurant and decided to stop in for lunch. We had never heard of this place, which they described as very much a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but the dumplings we had were simply amazing. I tried both the pork and chicken steamed dumplings (came 12 per order) and just had to write a review of this place, mostly as a reminder to go back in person. The spices they used were so rich and blended so perfectly with the meat. Our friend said he had been interested in trying a sampler type dish but they told him it would take 20-25 mins, so he opted for veggie dumplings. He said those were definitely worth a try too, so I'll be getting those next time. By looking at the other yelp photos I see you can do the dumplings in a sauce - heck yes, count me in!!! Very quaint cafe. Their teas are yummy! The Samosa were fresh and delicious. This is new to our neighborhood will come back.

This place is absolutely amazing! A family owned gem for sure! We live very close by and where anxious to try and become regulars. We where not disappointed! Excellent service- we felt so valued and cared for. Everything is made to order and from scratch. Diana in the kitchen throws down the most bomb flavors. The aroma is mouthwatering you can hardly get into the to-go box soon enough! Boldly flavored to perfection- I can't wait to come again. The pakora- fried veggies- flavor is exceptional and even better when coupled with their seasame sauce. We loved the Kung Fu dumplings- perfectly sauced/ fried/ and filled- amazing flavor. Fried rice was well balanced and ticked all the boxes. The chow main is perfectly complimented with their sweet sauce. You can taste the love and care in every bite. Amazing! What wonderful and new flavors to have in Arlington. Everything is cooked to order and fresh. Super service. The fried veggie dumplings with that spicy turmeric dipping sauce are out of this world delicious. Also had the veggies plate and WaiWai. The food was very good. We got chicken dumplings which were fantastic. We got chicken curry which was tasty. I did not like the masala tea but my daughter did. But the service was excruciatingly slow. It look at least thirty minutes although we were the only two customers and we ordered the same thing. The woman told us inaccurate times for how long they would take, twenty minutes for the dumplings, fifteen minutes for the curry. She kept saying the curry was ready but took another ten minutes to bring it. It was really odd, especially after we told her were trying to catch a plane. Sooooo slow. I did not like the decor. There is so much beautiful about Nepal that it could reflect- but it doesn't. It needs an update. And the two competing TVs that didn't make sense to me. My table needed cleaning. I wiped it with a paper towel but it was still sticky. But I would definitely consider this restaurant for take out. The dumplings were so good. read more
