I'm not one to repeat restaurants, but I've already come back here twice in the last 3 months. They have indoor and outdoor seating, a fun menu that has you humming throw back tunes as you make your selection. First time we had a group of 7, and 2nd time had just 2 of us. Both times, our service was great. Today, our waitress, Sierra, allowed us to linger over a cup of coffee no rush in deciding what to eat and just laughed at how we asked for substitutes or changes to the dishes. They were incredibly accommodating! Today had a toast, but instead of the thai shrimp, with avocado/tomatoe/chive cream, I opted for a fried egg. Which came out perfect! A little punch and the yellow yolk oozed all over. When they brought the plate, you could see the heat coming off the egg. I'm impressed, again! Discovered this cafe with a friend when we wanted to find a place with coffee and WiFi to get homework done. The location is great, right in downtown Southport near the water! It is super close to shops and restaurants as well. The outside is a pretty teal color with a couple of tables outside for outdoor seating. The inside has plenty of seating with booths, small tables, and some high seats by the windows to look outside. They just redid parts of the place so now they have a new bar right when you walk in. The walls have pretty art and the place is very inviting. They have coffee, tea, fountain drinks, and beer and wine! The food menu has breakfast options and lunch including sandwiches, soups, and salads. I got the club sandwich on wheat which was a fully stacked high and super yummy, I also got the chips as a side which were very good. My drink was my favorite part I got a iced vanilla latte which came in a pineapple glass which is super cute!! This cute cafe in Southport is a must see. I've had a good majority of the menu that this point and there genuinely is not a bad item on there. Everything is fresh, full of flavor, and unique. This is an awesome place to eat. Their salads are excellent. It's hard to find a good salad in the area. You must have the beef trash can nachos. They are amazing. The Bobby McGee salad (simple salad with homemade ranch ) is really good. This is the same family as Kai Joe, and KoKo Cabaña, and Rubies. I got a white chocolate raspberry latte just like at rubies and it was excellent. The owner was there and she was extremely friendly. The atmosphere is very nice. This is a MUST if you in the area. Well, always fun to find a new place in downtown Southport to eat. Will give this place one more try but not impressed on the first visit for breakfast. Waitress splattered me with cleaning solution as she scrambled to clean the table. They ran out of plain bagels and smoked salmon so we switched orders. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try. I got the stuffed pancakes of the day, which were Oreo and cream cheese. I thought they might be too sweet, but the cream cheese really helped to balance it out. And the berries on the side were sooo fresh, I usually end up disappointed with the fruit side restaurants give out, but they did not cut corners. I also loved all the vegan options.
