    Classic Breakfast

Nice little spot that I feel is often overlooked downtown. A friend and I visit here often for brunch. The breakfast is terrific! All day breakfast. Restaurants rarely cook my eggs properly and they always get it right. Friendly service. Nice place to sit down and grab a bite. Reasonably priced. I believe it is $8.99 +tax for the classic breakfast. Service is fairly quick depending on how busy they are. Other menu items are good as well, but their breakfast is what I'll keep going back for! Try it out for yourself.

The place is open and bright wherever you sit, whether on the outdoor patio, downstairs by the bar, or upstairs. Service was excellent. My reservation was smoothly handled, and my server took good care of me. I got offeres some bread and butter after I ordered, which was really a nice surprise. The offered breads were seeded, ollve, and rustic style. All delicious, especially with the sweet butter. For the main meal, I got a half dozen oysters, an order of cha gio and their Ahi Dragon Noodle Salad. The cha gio were crispy, not greasy, sweet and savoury. The oysters were super fresh, sweet and a good size. Along with the usual condiments, they included pickled red onion, which is the first time I've ever had this. I really enjoyed the acidic sweet bite enhancing the sweetness of the oysters. The Ahi Dragon Noodle Salad had microgreens, red cabbage, red and green and yellow sweet pepper, red chili pepper, edamame, coriander, green onions, and fried parsnip chips. The Ahi was charred on the outside, fresh and meaty. I appreciate that the sesame oil, soy sauce and hint of chili on the perfectly chewy noodles was separate from the veggies. The vegetables had a very clean flavour, but I would have liked something more, maybe a touch of citrus. A glass of good wine rounded out the whole experience. I was way too full at the end of the meal to even contemplate dessert. All in all, a great meal, and I would return any time.

We got the creamy tomato soup to start off. I got the salmon and my husband got the duck confetti. Both caught us by surprise. They were delish and full of texture with different flavors. Felt like reviews here sold them short. We enjoyed our meals. Give them a try!

I know this place exists because of their generosity to Camp Outlook. They have absolutely 100% scrumptious bread! And baked goodies. I love their dinner buns. They are made in this pull-a-part style and absolutely delicious to accompany soup, or toasted with butter, or, Pb&J, or cheese. Almost anything really, you can't go wrong. I was in Kingston recently and really wanted those dinner buns, unfortunately they didn't have them. Not on Sunday, not on Monday. I settled for their mini olive and rosemary dinner rolls. They were good too. Service here is pretty on point. There was a question I had asked the lady behind the counter and she came out from behind the counter to help answer any questions I had and serve me. She was really awesome! They have a catering menu, a cafe for brunch, they have fresh breads available and they do specialty cakes. They are totally the real deal. AND they sell Neal Brothers' cheese puffs. Havent been able to find these bad boys anywhere. They discontinued them in grocery retailers and health food stores don't seem to carry them. I'm in Toronto and havent been able to find them for a couple of years. They are a pretty penny, yet worth it for the sheer pleasure. Their store front is spacious and inviting. Certainly the place to be, everyone seemed to be walking in when I went. It is very well known. They can for sure accomodate a large amount of people. I would most definitely revisit when Im in the city next.

The sliced turkey with 2 years aged cheddar on rye bread was delish. The dressing was refreshing as well. The Portuguese egg tart was different from NYC. We needed to find someplace to sit and enjoy some air-conditioning before getting underway. This place looked like a good stop. It actually was! I believe this is a Holiday Inn hotel. The Restaurant, bar, and restrooms were all clean and well kept! We ordered adult beverages. A paper airplane off their cocktail menu for me and a glass of wine for my wife. After perusing their menu, we asked for an à la carte order of truffle fries. The cocktail and the truffle fries were absolutely delicious! Though we cannot remember the name of our server, she reminded us both of the character Harley Quinn. She was very thoughtful and friendly in her service. We truly appreciated that.

It was ready so we were able to eat fast and had a decent selection but we probably won't eat the buffet again. A decent selection of items that looked really good but once on our plate we soon discovered that most of the food was past luke warm and more on the cold side. What was there to choose from: French toast, blueberry pancakes, hash browns, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with spinach and mushroom(this was one of the nicest items they served), bacon, sausage, bagels, cereal, yogurt and granola. The was a big bowl of cut up fruit which is definitely a super plus for me. You get coffee, tea, and juice which is a nice bunch of choices for liquids. Lots of seating though so there is no issues getting a seat.

It's great for small and large groups, for celebrations, for watching sports, and perfect for corporate events! Thanks to my friend for introducing this place to us! It was a pleasure to meet Chef Paulson and his team! Our server was also very friendly and enthusiastic ^^ I love the Asian-inspired menu; Chef Paulson is absolutely talented, and the food is SO AMAZING! I can't wait to visit again. I would recommend the following: Avocado Infused Hummus - The hummus was so light and creamy, and I love the addition of pistachio and pomegranate to this dish! The pita bread was also soft and fluffy Turkey Delight Poutine - Loved this shareable appetizer! Topped with braised turkey, fresh Quebec cheese curd, and crispy kale. That cranberry mayo was definitely chef's kiss! Seafood Linguine - Made with a housemade tomato sauce, and topped with fresh shrimps, Hokkaido scallops, and mussels. A very tasty entrée! Fish & Chips - My friend especially enjoyed this dish Seared haddock (instead of traditionally breaded/deep fried!), served with mushy peas (有驚喜!), coleslaw and tartare sauce. My friends also had the Itaewon Beef Burger with Fries and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs on Rice. Both very tasty according to them ^^
