Darling little neighborhood spot. Tons of parking on the street because it is huddled into a quiet residential neighborhood. The food is delightful- made fresh and to order, not pre-made or frozen like many "coffee shops." The drinks were also terrific. I went with a friend of mine and everything we ordered was wonderful. We were vacationing in Denver and found this cafe here on Yelp, and I am SO glad we stopped here! It was one of the most delicious breakfasts I've had in a very long time. I had a sandwich (something with James in the title, if I remember correctly), and the buttery, flaky croissant was delicious all by itself. Cafe Miriam is located less than a block from City Park in a residential area with ample street parking. The colorful fall leaves make the outdoor patio like something from a movie! I ordered a chai latte and Le Parisien with a croissant instead of a ciabatta roll. The presentation was awesome! LOVED that my savory breakfast sandwich came with a sweet mini croissant...satisfying all of my cravings with one order. The breakfast sandwich was really yummy -- I am a sucker for a Brie/balsamic/fig in any setting, and the prosciutto made it even better! Really filling too. Unfortunately the chai latte was incredibly watery and flavorless, without any milk froth... it may have been a fluke but I'll stick with coffee next time. This wasn't a super cheap meal in the context of breakfast, but I had a lovely time here and will definitely be back next time I'm feeling due for a special breakfast, or to grab a coffee! read more

Great little breakfast/brunch/lunch spot tucked off York. I emphasize the "little." The place only seats 8ish inside. There's covered seating outside but my guess is that's a no-go in the winter. The menu has the French/Moroccan touch as advertised, with food like crepes. As to the food, it is great, The breakfast sandwiches are tasty, with the eggs not over cooked, and the coffee drinks are spot-on. They have a small pastry selection that was nearly sold out at 9:45am on a Wednesday. The two items left looked good but we opted for the menu food. It's a nice little place. read more

My husband brought our son here for a daddy baby date, a few weekends ago, so we all went back together today for some crepes/a walk in the park. We got the prosciutto crepe, one with apples + brie, and a salmon crepe. My husband said his salmon crepe though didn't have any salmon? He even looked inside and there definitely wasn't any in there. He said it was still really good, but he was kind of disappointed. We ate at their new location at Lafayette & 17th. Very disappointing. First, my hot cocoa arrived only 2/3 of a cup full and not extra hot as requested. They did replace it with a full cup, very hot. For food, I ordered the Pommes Crepe. It is billed as "Crispy apples, soft brie, and Lebanese fig jam, topped with a balsamic glaze." Well there were apples in the crepe, and two tiny pieces of brie, not melted, couldn't find any jam. This crepe was very dry and underwhelming. It's a nice location and friendly staff but cannot recommend the food. Maybe just go for coffee/drinks. read more

We grabbed Sunday morning breakky right after landing in Denver and it was a hit. Parking is a problem but there are no crowds so your food comes out quickly. We had the lox on bagel, Sundby sammich and El Hefe breakfast entree. The food was fresh and came with a side of salad or potatoes. Both sides were yummy. This cute little cafe was just what I was hoping for. The shop has limited seating and is a counter service establishments, so if you are hoping for a restaurant where you are waited on, this is not the place for you. We were luckily able to get seating in a little bar countertop next to where you order food. They were incredibly accommodating with our order. They allow substitutions. They also had alternative milk for their coffee offerings. We both really enjoyed our plates. I had a croissant sandwich with egg that came with a cold potato side and a mini chocolate croissant. It was really good. The service was great. The food came out quickly. For a Saturday morning I expected a long wait but was really surprised with how fast we were able to get a seat and to get our food. I would recommend returning. read more

Exactly as I'd hoped! This spot is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a lovely breakfast on the patio. We came here on Saturday morning and enjoyed a salmon crepe (cucumber, dill, smoked salmon & creme fraiche) and prosciutto crepe (arugula, brie, prosciutto and fig spread). They were both delicious! I loved how many options they had. It was too difficult to choose just one when they all sound so good. I loved ordering at the counter and finding a table in the shade on the patio. This was our last breakfast in Denver and I'm glad we went here. We ordered the Lox on Bagel and the American Breakfast crepe with a side of potatoes. For drinks we got the watermelon agua Fresca and iced chai. First of, the atmosphere was cute. The place is small and can get crowded. You order first then take your number either outside or inside for dining. The weather was beautiful so we decided to eat outside. It can get noisy, even outside since the chairs were close to each other. The service was great, the hostess was nice and patient, and the person who brought our food was friendly. The food was delicious. My bf got the Lox on Bagel and the cucumbers inside made it refreshing. His also came with a small chocolate croissant which was tasty as well. His watermelon agua Fresca on the other hand was just ok. It was difficult to drink with all the watermelon pieces inside, especially with paper straws. I got the American crepe. It had eggs, mozzarella, and bacon. The eggs were fluffy and delicious, the bacon was crispy, the crepe was thin and airy. The star though we're these potatoes. I'm not sure what they put in them (maybe curry?) but damn they were yummy! I got the iced chai for a drink which was ok also. It could've been a little sweeter. You get a nice feeling when strolling in this small bistro near City Park. Upon glancing at the menu a feeling of optimism warms your soul, so simple and yet each offering has an intriguing twist. Our mouths were doing the happy dance as we devoured the savory crepes and breakfast croissant. Absolutely, 5 star worthy, deliciousness. The fig jam was the standout that everyone loved, but the table was mixed on the balsamic vinegar. The people working here were so friendly and sweet. Obviously parking is street parking in this neighborhood but it's really easy to find a close by spot! My mother in law wanted crepes. I had never eaten crepes in Denver and this place had good reviews. A few pointers to improve the rating: way too expensive. Very few choices for fillings. The crepe itself was overcooked and like leather. The fillings were not hot. If you're going to have self serve water, perhaps having cold water and not water that has been sitting and is room temperature. My mom in law asked for some lemon to put in her water and they didn't have lemons. My mother in law found another crepery that she raved about. 1/3 the price, soft and warm crepes and many fillings to choose from. Perhaps restaurants that serve such specialty foods should visit other creperies and do some comparisons. These were actually terrible and to pay $15 for a crepe as was described above was outrageous. Some improvements should certainly be had to keep this cafe open. read more

Definitely a neighborhood jaunt across from City Park. Oddly it does not showup when I searched Yelp for cafes, but sometimes follow your nose. Everything was incredible! Start with location - it's right off City Park but it's tucked away so it's quiet and you don't hear the traffic from York street. Parking was seamless too! The staff was incredibly kind and answered all of our questions. Now for the food! The Lox Bagel was simple and incredible.
