    Zereshk Polo with Chicken Bowl

I had high hopes for this place and was very disappointed when I ordered Zereshkpolo and received a dish that wasn't anything even close to a zereshkpolo! Total misrepresentation of an authentic Persian dish. No saffron, no zereshk, just soggy chicken in a mediocre tomato paste sauce and white rice. The salad was drenched in Italian dressing, which is also far from Persian dressings...

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself has a very modern Persian vibe, and it is beautifully decorated![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The mocha latte was spot-on and got me going for the day (I got 4 shots of espresso in mine). Although I used a scooter, the restaurant is located conveniently with parking in the Denver Health building, if you drive. The staff are very friendly and helpful with answering any questions I had. The food was amazing, and gyros in the omelet was delicious!

I met a group here for lunch and we didn't have any trouble finding seating, but we did have to spread out. It's a cozy ambiance. I'd recommend taking a look at the menu online ahead of time because you order at a kiosk. I put in a special request of no tomatoes in my pizza and it was covered with them, so don't love not ordering with a person. I also got the hummus and it was huge. I didn't think there was enough pita bread for the size of the hummus. I would definitely come back. FYI that it's just street parking.

Definitely a thumbs-up from me! Fantastic spot on Broadway, just by Denver Health and a short drive from Civic Center and Bakers Neighborhood. The place got this chill urban vibe and super clean. The food is tasty; I tried the Steak & Herb Pizza which is a mix of NY style and deep-dish which by itself is really unique. Also Kobideh Sandwich which is soft grilled ground beef and flavorful white sauce, topped with some chopped tomatoes and all placed in freshly baked bread. The whole place just screams laid-back urban vibes. You gotta try this place!

I adore this place! I have never been disappointed. They have amazing salads! I also love their pastries and lattes. They have lots of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The staff is always so friendly and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere is wonderful![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Right near Denver Health and 15% off for employees of Denver Health for coffee, drinks and sandwiches!

First time at this new Denver restaurant. They are on the northwest corner of Broadway & 6th Ave near the Denver Health complex and Mariott hotel. They offer coffee, Persian teas, and smoothies with breakfast items 7am-11am, then lunch & dinner until 8pm Mon-Sat. They offer several Persian related beverages and foods in addition to the usual light lunch and dinner fare. I started with their creamy barley soup made with veggies and topped with olive oil and a full size pita cut into triangular shapes. You can add proteins like chicken, steak and salmon. Very good. Next I got their "The Green" salad with a bed of spri g mix, chopped walnuts, whipped feta cheese, cucumbers, green tomatoes with a lemon olive oil dressing. Crunchy and refreshing. I added a cup of hot Persian black tea with Oat Milk. I also a personal size thin crust pizza with roasted chicken, walnuts, sun-dried tomatoes and tarragon with a creamy garlic sauce instead of tomato sauce. A great pizza. They have 2 other versions, cheesy eggplant and pepperoni. You order at the front counter and they bring out the food. The hot tea was served in a china cup. Despite being next to both Broadway & 6th Ave, there was no traffic noise. They have several high top tables and 4 booths. There is also a couch with antique furnishings for relaxing nearby. The have 2 gender free restrooms. They have soft drinks, but no alcohol. There is large dessert display case with both American style & Persian pasties, like baklava.

This was literally some of the best food I've ever eaten. We stopped there on a whim due to its open hours and could not have been happier. I just recommended it to a friend today. Everything was delicious - even the iced tea!

This place was amazing! We had sandwiches and a Persian dish, as well as Persian tea. So incredibly tasty. Pricing great, too. Everyone was kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

    blueberry danish, iced matcha latte

Quiet cafe near downtown! Delicious food and drink, very kind/helpful staff, and super reasonable prices (I got a huge danish and a matcha latte for only $11). The man who took my order was very nice, and another man who I assume to be the owner was checking up on customers, making sure the sun from the windows was not bothering us. A bit sad that I am only visiting from out of state, I hope to find somewhere like Urban Cafe where I live :)

The drinks were great, not too fancy, but my Matcha was yummy. We also tried a gluten-free zucchini bread and a lemon pound cake which really hit the spot. But me and my mom found this place, and it's amazing. Yesterday, I drew the kind people working, and left it for them. Today, I came back, like we have for the past few days. The kind man offered me any item I wanted on the house, because they loved the drawings I did. I imagined they threw the drawings away, but to think they actually cared a lot about it made my week. Maybe even my month. A huge thank you to everyone who works here for being extremely kind and understanding. You gave me a place to be, somewhere I don't need to worry. Thank you. Now, for an actual review, the food here is very nice. All I really ate were the avocado toasts because that's all I'm familiar with, but of the two I tried, the supreme queen toast is the best. For service, the people here are very kind and attentive. Very respectful. And helpful, they will not make you feel stupid for having questions or needing a smaller menu (I have very bad vision for a 15 year old...). The ambiance is very nice. People are doing whatever they want or need, and don't care about you. Which is a good thing, especially for people who don't like loud or overwhelming spaces. Being open 24/7 is also very wonderful. Sometimes we're up late, after a day of forgetting to eat or just not having to the time to, having a place to eat and hang out is nice. It's also very cold, which is good because it's been very hot outside. Overall, this place is amazing. And I'm very sad to be leaving this area soon, but I hope I can come back again one day. On top of that, they even charged me for water, which caught me off guard. Overall, the vibe didn't feel very welcoming. Maybe I just caught them at a weird time, but between the service and how rushed I felt to leave, it wasn't a great experience.
