Their dessert is so delicious! I enjoyed it more than the crepe place is San Diego which was inside the Mitsuwa plaza. The texture of the crepes were nice and light and the filling wasn't too heavy, thick or overloaded. It's the perfect dessert during anytime of the day!! NUTELLA & STRAWBERRY CREPE: 10/10 I usually skip dessert because I usually get too full after dinner but, this dessert did not feel like a heavy dessert. It's a dessert you can enjoy with each bite! HOTTEOK WAFFLE: 9/10 It has a very rich and unique texture. I really enjoyed the flavors but, one point off because it was extremely sticky!! SERVICE: 10/10 She's a very friendly and hardworking one woman show so please be patient. She makes every dessert and orders as fast as she can and it comes out really good so it's worth waiting for. I don't think she took more than 10 minutes to make our crepes and waffles... CAN'T GO WRONG WITH CAFE MONG!!!!!!!!!
This one and its franchise Sweet Mong on spring mountain were our favorite crepe dessert places to go. The brûlée custard, salmon lox crepe and hot squid game latte are our must. But today, the crepe is a bit overcooked, broken and crispy, which we didn't like. Might have to check out other crepe cafes. The service is still good and they have one more salmon savory crepe and new strawberry tiramisu crepe.
Cafe Mong is a really solid place for not only coffee, but also for food. I love that they have crepes, which can be sweet or savory. They have all kinds of breakfast and lunch as well. I tend to get my favorite, which is their egg salad avocado toast. I love that they put the balsamic drizzle on there. I usually get coffee and recently tried their peach green tea, and that might be my new favorite. Super cute inside and the people are always nice and helpful, and plus side their bathrooms are super clean.

Cute little cafe I saw around, was quiet but lot of people eating and hanging out still. Really nice to just sit and relax if you're not looking for someplace loud. Staff are super friendly and helpful if you have any questions, the menu can feel intimidating since there is a lot of stuff on it. Food and drink was pretty good, and nicely portioned. Split a sandwich to satisfy my hungry and coffee was good too! Got the Passion Prosciutto and Mong Coffee!
Stopped by Cafe Mong again after not visiting since the peak Covid years, and it was honestly nice to see the place still around and doing well. It is always good when a small local cafe manages to survive that era and continue growing. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. When I visited around the mid afternoon window, roughly between 2 and 3pm, a good number of tables were already filled but the space still felt comfortable. The environment stayed relatively calm and they had soft K-pop cafe style music playing in the background which fit the Korean cafe theme nicely. Their menu looks much more expanded compared to what I remember. In addition to drinks, they now have savory and sweet crepes, protein bowls, vegetarian options, and a pretty wide selection of teas, coffees, and specialty lattes. I ended up ordering the Squid Game latte this time. The drink comes topped with thick dalgona pieces that gradually melt into the latte. It has a little sweetness to it, but it stays balanced and never becomes overpowering. It ended up being the caffeine boost I needed for the day. The interior design is also very playful and whimsical. Apparently "mong" translates to dream in Korean, which explains the cloud shaped light fixtures hanging throughout the cafe. I forgot to check if they had WiFi, but the layout definitely feels like the type of cafe where you would see people bringing laptops in the morning or early afternoon to study or get some work done. The only thing to keep in mind is their hours. They tend to close fairly early. It would actually be a great evening hangout spot if they ever decided to extend their hours a bit. Still, it is a cozy neighborhood cafe with a creative theme and plenty of drink options if you are looking for a relaxed place to recharge for a bit.
Me and my girlfriend came here just to check it out and it was the best decision we made. We will be coming back every week until we die. The whole time we were laughing because the food was so good. We brang our dog and they even offered to let us sit inside because it was hot outside. The strawberry creme brûlée croffle was soft, had strawberry in every bite and was very light and not filling. The chicken Caesar salad sandwich was just perfect. Not too heavy on the sauce, meat was just right, and the tomatoes had so much flavor. We will come back every week!
Adequate parking in a private parking lot Café Mong is tucked into a combination a plaza that includes medical and food establishments. Upon entering the cloud lighting gets your attention which is a great feature as mong means dream (sign in the dining area explains that). Very good customer service. The menu boards are plentiful so it took me a moment to browse the menu. I chose the Classic crepe and a [classic] cappuccino. An espresso machine is used for a traditional espresso shot pull. Peets coffees beans. 'A' rating from the Health Department is on display. The made to order crepe and cappuccino were very good. The crepe batter used lends a neutral flavor. I guess that allows the crepe to go well with either savory or sweet fillings. I prefer a crepe with a sourdough tang, but it was still good. They also make the fish-shaped bread to order as well.
Nice little spot for brunch. I just moved back to this side of town. I ate here before but now Im going to leave a review to remind myself this spot is here. I had the cafe mong breakfast sandwich. It had two sunny side up eggs, bacon and sausage. I had their vanilla coconut latte served with Peet's Coffee. I came during early afternoon and expected I had the place mostly to myself. Plenty of parking.
I absolutely adore this cafe. Every single thing I've ordered has been amazing and delicious. I can just tell that they take the time to prepare every ingredient very intentionally, and the ingredients they use are of high quality as well. Some dishes I would like to highlight: AVOCADO TUNA KIMCHI TOAST - sounds kinda weird right? But this was the most unique and delicious flavor combination I've tried to date. I never would've imagined these ingredients going so well together. It's an addictive flavor bomb yet light enough to eat for brunch and not put you in a coma for the rest of the day. And the generous high quality Parmesan on top?? Please never change this! It honestly died the dish together adding a sharp savoriness/umami. GOCHUJANG THAI CHICKEN CREPE - first off, all their savory crepes are good, but this one took the cake for me. Their crepe batter itself is perfect, and it's hard to find a place that can do a savory crepe justice. The Thai chicken crepe is my favorite because they pack it with greens and herbs that really make the flavors stand out. The chicken is never dry and is made perfectly for a wrap. It also has these crunchy fried onions throughout the wrap that have you keep coming for more. If you haven't tried this place or have considered it but never did, now is the time! I will definitely be a continuing regular customer of theirs.
Walked in on a Saturday morning and we were the only ones there but I'm not complaining. Got waited on right away. Had a few minutes to look around this cute and cozy cafe before our coffee was brought out followed a few minutes later by our food. All three of us ordered the Americano coffee. It was good and came in a mug like you'd have at home. The food was all delicious. Not a one of us left a bite on our plate. I had the spam and egg rice bowl and it was wonderful. Had a bit of sweetness to it that was just right. Especially with the little bit of pickled slaw that was also served with it. My husband had the mong combo and said it was really good. My son who doesn't usually finish his meal ate every bite of his ham and cheese sandwich and had several bites of the custard crepe I ordered for us to share. Loved the crème brûlée finish to the top of the crepe. The custard was good and as you got down just a little beyond that there were strawberries and cream. After the initial custard on top is eaten you can pick it up and eat it like a taco. It was really good. I'm glad we tried it. The perfect ending to a wonderful breakfast. I don't know if it's by luck it wasn't busy or bc it's located near a medical center people don't bother but whatever, don't snooze on this one.
This is a quaint, quiet café near the hospital that's perfect if you're looking to avoid crowds. They offer a nice selection of pastries, breakfast dishes, and a variety of drinks. We mainly came for the pastries, while my brother ordered the Spam plate with rice and teriyaki sauce, which he really enjoyed. They also offer free Wi-Fi and patio seating. The patio is a nice option during cooler months, though it's a bit too hot to sit outside in the summer. Overall, it's a cozy spot to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. read more

I tried the avocado toast here and overall it was pretty good. The portion size was generous and the ingredients tasted fresh. That said, the toast itself was a bit hard, which made it difficult to cut and eat comfortably. It also took quite a while for the food to come out. I felt like other peoples drinks were prioritized before my order. On the positive side, the place is very clean, easy to find, and there's plenty of parking, which is a big plus. The staff was also really nice and welcoming. I'd consider coming back, just hoping for a slightly quicker turnaround time and a softer toast next time. read more

First time coming here. I ordered a couple things. First was the "Kimchi Crunchy Tuna" that was really good! I would order it again but there was so much to try. For dessert, it looked like new item on the menu... the "Taro Tiramisu Crepe" Everything I ordered was pretty amazing. My friend orders the "Salmon Lox" Crepe and he loved it. Customer service was great! The person that took our order was very friendly and inviting and suggested a few things. To be honest I don't think you could go wrong with anything here. Everything looks and tastes freshly made. The inside had nice decor and it looked clean and organized. Inside they had some tables and a cozy area where you can chill on the coaches and eat. If the weather is nice like today was, there is outside seating as well. I got a bit excited with my Taro Tiramisu Crepe that I accidentally took their spoon lol. I'll be back to return it and more importantly order more food. Thank you for having us and giving us a great first experience. We will definitely be back for more goodness. read more
There's a sign inside the shop that says.... Mong means dreams in Korean. What dreams are you pursuing? Well, I love crepes and I dream of it frequently and today I was pursuing a crepe for lunch! I ordered the Classic, which is a ham and cheese with veggies. It was good, but I wished the cheese was melted. I also the strawberry, banana, and Nutella sweet crepe, which is a classic in itself. Very good. Their batter has mochicko flour so it is chewy with a light crunch. We topped it off with a blueberry cheesecake croffle. They have a coffee menu along with sandwiches and rice bowls. The shop is located in a medical center area. Causal. Indoor and outdoor seating. Causal. Good service. Please come and create your own experience. read more

I made a promise and they delivered! I promised someone stop in and try this establishment and I just so happened to be working across the parking lot. I ordered a Bang-bang chicken dish. The place is quaint, mean and the price was fair. The staff was cordial. The parking is accessible, in the strip but a large parking lot to the side. Handicap parking available out front. As for the wrap dish, it was okay. I had given 5stars until half way down the dish. No sauce, pretty dry. I will go back and try another dish read more

Cute Korean cafe spot located near the hospital. Kinda good as a study spot? If there's a lot of ppl talking, it can be difficult to focus but decent amount of seats. Tiramisu crepe (3/5) - Not too sweet! Though mostly just eating mascarpone cheese My friend found the blueberry cheesecake crepe to be too sweet. Huge menu selection so I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other things. read more

Stopped in kind of on a whim and I'm glad we did. Plenty of seating and a great selection of breakfast & lunch options on the menu with plenty of specials as well to choose from. Staff were friendly and we were given time to look at the menu before the lady took our order. We had the Cafe Mong breakfast sandwich, and the Mango Marscapone Croffle (half croissant half waffle), a white chocolate mocha and an americano. My only issue was that the americano which was ordered hot was served so hot that it was nearly boiling and I couldn't drink it until the very end of our meal without burning myself. No coffee should ever be brewed like that, especially not in a cafe that brews specialty coffee in house. They did however give us a cup with ice which I suppose slightly makes up for it and I was eventually able to drink my coffee albeit after we left. Overall good food and friendly staff so we will be back but next time I'll just do an iced coffee instead. read more
I love this cafe! There's always parking and the few times I've been it's not overly crowded which is nice. They have a huge menu of food and drink items. They also have some pastries on display. I had the chicken pesto sandwich which was very good, I like that it was a hot sandwich pressed by a panini. I also had the squid game latte with the honeycombs, omg it's so good so worth getting. Inside is clean, lots of tables and when the weather is nice it's nice to sit outside. I didn't realize this before but you turn your plates inside when your done. read more

Vegan Tofu Rice Bowl, Guava Danish, and Drip Coffee hit the spot. Pricing was fair. Service was friendly and attentive. Seating area was spacious. Decor and lighting were just right. The vibe was lively for a Saturday morning. It was apparent that this cafe is a labor of love for the owners. Returned on a weekday for lunch. It was a 20-minute wait for the Tofu Banh Mi sandwich, which was good. It's similar to the teriyaki bowl but placed in a bun, not over rice. There is one more item on the vegan menu, which I haven't tried yet: Avocado Tofu Smash. read more
Stopped by on a Sunday morning and this place was busy! The cafe was decent size, but definitely could be hard to find a table during peak time. It's also an order and open seating, so definitely come early. It has a dreamy atmosphere and is very calming. They have quite a menu and many of the choices were great, but we ended up getting some of the savory crepes including bang bang shrimp, salmon lox, and a custom breakfast crepe and they were very accommodating in what we wanted in the custom crepe. We got the standard coffee choices along with the crepe with hazelnut, taro, and regular lattes. The crepes took a minute as they were made from scratch, but everyone came out great and they were delicious! The crepes were not overly filling but also enough for breakfast. Service was limited but great! They brought out the crepes and coffee, and everyone was very nice, courteous, and accommodating. Excellent choice for a different kind of breakfast and we'll be sure to be back! read more
Walked in on a Sunday, and they were playing Carpenters so I loved the ambiance immediately. The service is nice and their menu is so interesting that makes me want to come back! I got the crème brule crepe which included strawberries and whip cream (I think from the bottle). Then I also had their butterfly pea tea lemonade which was really good too. Love all the creative ideas, and fusion between eastern & western deserts! Definitely worth a try! read more

The crepes here are fantastic! They are so airy and light. You can order sweet or savory, and both are good. Keep in mind that the savory are a little bit more filling! Lastly, the drinks are amazing. Everything is so refreshing. read more
This cute Korean coffee shop is amazing . It is beautifully decorated , offering indoor and outdoor seating options. Cute seating/ waiting area with a couch and chair/tables. Music playing overhead is not too loud, so it is easy to hear yourself talking to your friends. It is a very Nice place for a brunch or family breakfast. Very relaxed atmosphere. The menu is very diverse and big for a small cafe! They offer: savory crepes and dessert crepes, appetizers, sandwiches, breakfast items, vegetarian and vegan options too. Also they have a great selection of lattes, coffee ( hot and cold) and teas. We have had their hazelnut lattes and they were delicious. Next time definitely we will try their food. We came on a Sunday an hour before closing. The place was big and inviting. However, the employees were not. I did not feel very welcomed. I ordered a the vegan avocado toast, vegan spicy panini, and chai iced latte with almond milk. The food and latte wasn't bad. We devoured the food because we were hungry. Friendly welcoming service in this small out of the way cafe. If planning a visit, keep in mind their hours are shorter 8-5 Mon-Saturday and Sundays 9-3, Outdoor seating and ample indoor seating. Cute seating/waiting area with a couch and chair/tables. Music playing overhead not too loud, so it will be easy to hear yourself talk if on a date, outing with friends. cafe mong is a cute and cozy spot! i went in to grab a quick coffee fix and a snack, and what i got was decent overall.. i ordered a mocha and nutella taiyaki (fish bread). the service was quick and the staff were friendly. i honestly wouldn't mind stopping in again if i happen to be in the area. read more
Cute little places with indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and wait for your food to arrive. It took a bit for our food to arrive but everyone was very nice. My husband had the BLT crepe, which he enjoyed and I had the chicken pesto panini w/chips and really enjoyed it as well. I also tried the brown sugar cold brew and the coffee had great flavor and didn't taste burnt. Cute little place to grab a semi healthy meal read more
