I was so happy to try this bakery out for the first time and it definitely did not meet my expectations. I ordered a 8oz toffee nut coffee, vegetarian sand which, and mango dessert. To start off, when I ordered my coffee, the guy at the register said they didn't have 8oz coffees. I was staring right up at the sign, and he said he didn't know why it said that because he didn't see it in the computer. (But gave me an 8oz cup anyway and charged me for a 12oz) I thought maybe he didn't know what a small 8oz looked lik? lol Not sure. Then I waited for about 20 minutes for them to bring me out a vegetarian sand which. I was the only person there for the first 10 minutes, and it seemed like either the guy forgot to tell them to make the sandwich, or the ladies forgot themselves. Because 10 minutes later the guy looked at me and apologized and said that it should be out in 3 minutes. Another 10 minutes later and still nothing. I was pretty annoyed at this point because how long does it take to throw some veggies together on a sand which!! I think he noticed at this point so he apologized to me again and said " I just told them to make it". At this point I was super annoyed, but I just waited. Meanwhile I waited I also noticed other customers had walked in and ordered a handful of desserts and it looked like they had to go back up to the counter because they were missing some of their order. I finally got my sandwich and left because it honestly seems like a cluster fuck. Thankfully the sandwhich was amazing. The mango dessert was, eh. Especially for the price point. I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but I felt this place was really deserving of one. Customer service was not there- he was not very friendly. Food took WAY LONGER than it should've especially because I was the only one there at first and for what I ordered. He didn't even know the specifics of their menu. Just absolutely disappointed. Okay, in all seriousness, a mom and pop bakery has landed in the suburbs, Tomball specifically....but I am always skeptical of new places popping up in the burbs. Came here for a little sweet treat after lunch with a few ladies from church, and when we arrived, we saw an entire table full of teenage girls that had overtaken the small cafe and bakery. The entire seating area had pretty much been taken up by this group, so in my opinion if it's that busy, they should've temporarily closed the bakery for a few hours for that group. The ordering process and cash register system was not efficient. We were waiting in line for forever only to be met with a very empty case of desserts and only a select few options available as it was already in the afternoon, so get there early if you want your pick! When there's a line of customers or patrons that's waiting amidst a large group, there needs to be a more efficient way of taking orders and getting the line moving. Waiting that long to buy one $10 cheesecake was not worth it for me. Desserts appear to be appealing to the eye, but from my group, the desserts got mixed reviews. Honestly not worth the hassle of waiting in line... Also, while it may be culturally acceptable to have your family helping out in the back, I'm not sure how safe or appropriate it is to be holding a baby while the store is hectic, there's a long line and wait time, and there's hot ovens, etc. Not a good look for a newly opened establishment. The strawberry croissant was delicious! A little on the pricier side, but you definitely get what you pay for. I wanted to try the Turkish coffee but opted for an iced mocha. It wasn't my favorite, so next time I'm in the area, I'll opt for the Turkish. They had plenty of different flavors for the croissant and even had the Dubai flavor. read more

The good- the chocolate covered viral fruit shaped pastries were good. Had a creamy filling with a frozen berry compote/jam center. The bad-The croissants are huge and flaky. The pistachio filling was not fluffy or creamy- it was kind of runny. Not real crazy about that filling. Then ordered a hot chai latte and it was more coffee than chai and I don't do coffee at all. Saw this cute little place on IG - we decided to give it s try today. They had pastries, baked goods and desserts - too many to choose from - so we tried a few on site and some goodies home. Everything on display was beautiful - almost too good to eat. He had croissants, quiche and a multi-layer fill dough with feta treat, washed down with Turkish iced coffee. I had worked in Tomball and met two sisters who live in Tomball at this café. The desserts looked beautiful behind the glass display. One of my friends loved her croissant. I ordered an 8 Oz cappuccino. They had forgotten about it. After they made it and I sat down to drink it, I realized it was lukewarm. I didn't bother to tell them until I was almost done with it. I didn't want to get up. I finally got up to tell the young man the cappuccino wasn't hot. He said something about having acquired a different machine. He offered to heat my cappuccino up. I said it wasn't worth it. I only had a few sips left. My friend's cappuccino was also cold. She did get hers heated. I ordered a San Sebastian slice of cake. It's a dessert from Northern Spain, like a creamier cheesecake with no crust. Honestly, the cheese cakes looked delicious but they are pricier than the San Sebastian. The creamy dessert was good but nothing to write home about. I would return but I'd order a cheesecake slice. They have lemon, raspberry, Lotus, and other types of cheesecakes. I saw some bread loaves for purchase. I bought a Babka Nutella bread to go. It's delicious. This is a Turkish-owned cafe. They have Turkish coffee brewed on a pot on top of sand. The baklava looked beautiful and crispy. You definitely need to go when in Tomball. I hope they get on the ball with their coffee drinks. read more

Seating: indoor, table group seating , high chair seating. Price: Average Drink: went for the Turkish coffee. They do not have any non caffeinated drinks other than the soft drinks. Food: blueberry muffin was yummy, I did asked to warm it up. Strawberry croissant was good as well. We did not try the bake good of break but they did look good. At first service felt a little low. We were first to walk in as they were still preparing for the day. Place was clean. As we asked cashier of options he was not very helpful and seems like it's new to the customer service. I asked for Turkish coffee as that is the main reason I came. I was surprised that it was not initially made in the sand. I did not want to stay curious of the whole sand thing so I asked chef Milan if he the machine was working. His customer service was definitely phenomenal, he offered to make a fresh one and was very friendly. I was glad to have the whole turkey coffee experience. If you ask for turkey coffee make sure to mention you want it in the sand if you want the experience. I would suggest arriving @9am or a bit later to assure all bake goods are available. Such a little cute cafe--and a welcome addition to the Spring and Tomball area! I would have loved to got some coffee had they had decaf options, but they didn't. If they take any constructive criticism--please add decaf and sugar-free options to the coffee selection! Also- with all of the pistachio options, I thought they would be halal, but the woman at the counter said that she wasn't sure if they had any. Halal options would be nice as well. Especially with all of the Turkish looking desserts! I got the chocolate chip cookie, which was really good. It had more of a cookie dough, feel on the inside, and was thick, and I really enjoyed it. The spinach and feta spanikopita type pastry was also good. I usually get them from Phoenicia, and theirs was decent. A little chewer than I would have expected. There are a few desserts that I was eyeing and want to try, so I'm looking forward to come here again soon. read more

I had been seeing the instagram posts of these delicious pastries and I had to stop by and try them and the Turkish coffee. I have to say they taste as delicious as they look. My family and I loved every pastry. We seriously were fighting over which was our favorite. I am so happy this is close by. I even got to meet one of the owners who was so sweet and taught me how to drink my first Turkish coffee. Run to this bakery and try the yummy offerings. Sorry for the pic of the baklava in my car that didn't make it home to share. It was one of the best I have had. I came here after seeing a few videos of fellow foodies giving it rave reviews. Parking was plentiful, the location is right off the highway and easy to get to, and there are so many options to choose from when you enter the shop. I ordered a pistachio baklava (delicious, not saccharine), strawberry cream croissant (looked and tasted great), spinach quiche (heated up for me, made for a quick lunch), and a Nutella babka loaf (not pictured here but it was a good size and reheated well). There was a person working on their laptop at one of the tables inside so I take that as a sign that it's a decent place to get some work done. Everything I've had from here has been pretty good. Unlike most bakeries in the area, Bake Me Happy has more unique items. I've had good service everytime I've gone, but it's not a place I'd go out of my way for because of the price tag - I only go if I already happen to be in the shopping center and am craving something sweet. The veggie sandwich was very fresh and flavorful. The halal sausage and cheese croissant with mustard was good but I wanted it to have more mustard flavor. The spinach quiche was outstanding. My husband took me here as a surprise after church! Very clean bakery and I loved how it was decorated/designed inside. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I got the original croissant and my husband got the cinnamon roll. Both were delicious and I also got an Iced Latte Macchiato with Hazelnut Syrup. The coffee was 10/10!!
