    banana matcha & cherry matcha

Don Bar & Bakery is fairly new to the area, and my sister and I stopped by on a Thursday evening to check it out. We originally went just to try the matcha, but ended up ordering food too. For drinks, I had the Bananas 4 You matcha, and my sister ordered a cherry matcha. Mine was good, but I actually preferred hers -- the cherry flavor was really nice. Both drinks lean more toward a dessert-style matcha -- milky, sweet, and not super earthy -- so they're perfect if you're in the mood for a treat. We also ordered the birria cheese fries, and those were really good. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the fries were cooked perfectly, which made the whole dish come together really well. Overall, we had a great experience and I'd definitely come back to try their brunch and more of their drinks. The service was good, everything came out at a decent time and the employees were friendly. The restaurant is also really cute!

I was able to come here yesterday for our silent book club meeting. They were so accommodating to host 67 people here. I love the ambiance and decor here. They had couches, tables, bar section and booths so it's a variety of different places to sit here. I loved seeing the different teas, coffee and sodas. They had Mexican sprite so I had to have it lol Now the TLT is a fun BLT with avocado and spicy mayo sauce that I enjoyed so much! My friends had chicken tacos with potatoes and turkey sandwich and yummy fries. Everyone raved about their yummy meals. This was a great venue to eat, chat and read. I was sad it was over. You will not be disappointed if you come here.

I recently came here this past weekend and absolutely loved everything about this place! It was so cute inside and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They kept coming around to check if I needed anything. The hibiscus tea I had was amazing as well as the chicken fajita tacos. It was so flavorful and came with potatoes that were slightly sweet/salty. I loved the unique flavors! Other people got matcha drinks and coffee and said their orders were amazing as well. I can't wait to come back again to try some of their coffee and matcha drinks

Delicious! This is a great joint to go to for brunch. Great service. It is beautiful in there. I love their wood chairs and i love that they show and sell art. Anyway back to the food, I had a delicious Turkey Sandwhich. Their sweet bacon and bread in the sandwich is so good. The deserts are delicious as wells. We visited twice in a week for deserts. My favorite are these chocolate chip cakes shaped like a flower. It is a moist yummy pound cake like flavor with chocolate chips in it. So good try it. Anyway im super happy to have a joint like this nearby. Look fwd to exploring the rest of their menu.

The food was delicious! The spicy mayo was amazing and their fries...some of the best I've had. Great atmosphere and family owned! You gotta try this place!

'The Crazy Cajun' is very good: boudin balls and over-easy eggs on cornbread, topped with Cajun hollandaise. (Note: the cornbread is pretty tall and can be a little dry, so I usually lop off the bottom half.) That was my go-to until a waiter recommended 'Shrimp & Grits Benedict' - shrimp, andouille sausage and over-easy eggs on fried grit patties with Cajun hollandaise. (Talk about a great way to get both grits AND potatoes!) The coffee is OK, portions ample, service excellent and attentive, and staff recommendations trustworthy. In fairness, I need to sample more of the menu as I'm usually tied between two favorite Benedicts. That said, no one I've brought has been disappointed with their choices.

Good homemade style food that just hits the spot. My dad mentioned wanting a chicken fried steak (CFS), and so naturally, that sounded really good, and changed my whole thought process about what to get. I knew the kiddo was going for french toast or the cinammon roll pancake, so I could get some sweetness, and have some savory, which I think worked out great! I got the CFS with mashed potatoes and sourdough bread, with a side of grits. The kid and lil lady got the french toast, side of bacon and side of grits. My dad ended up going with the bone in ham, never even saw that on the menu, but it was good, and I loved the grill flavor in the meat. Brother got the omelet. When the food came out, I knew I had to be quick with the pics, bc we were all starving! Not starving starving, but we were hungry! Lol, everyone tried a little bit of everything, and nothing disappointed. I also like that they have a covered patio, we sat out on the patio the first time visiting, and there's lots of space, you get a cool breeze somehow in this Houston heat. Service was awesome, and it was just a great place to enjoy a great breakfast or lunch.

They had an amazing assortment of fresh fruits, cheese, breads, salads, breakfast foods, dips, pasta, and veggies. They also had a carving station with steak and chimichurri sauce. I tried the chicken sausage, steak, beet hummus, tomato salad, whipped feta, biscuits with jam, and an assortment of the veggies & fruits. I also ordered over easy eggs and French toast which they make and bring to the table to keep them fresh but they were included in the buffet. After eating we walked around a bit to see the farm and the animals. Such a cute place for a date or a family outing. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely go back to try their normal menu.

I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! I rarely if ever eat fried food - so clearly this was my big day to completely go off my standard fare, but those fries had the perfect crunch and flavor. Apparently, when my husband made our resv, he told them it was my birthday, so our server brought out a delightful complimentary spiced cake dessert after we were finished eating - for us to share. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Thank you to the entire staff at The Chefs Table yesterday, for helping to create a memorable and delicious birthday feast for my husband and me. We will definitely be back to try some other delights because the menu is packed full of amazing looking dishes.

The space is huge and had a great cafe vibe. The bookshelf had a couple books and I realized I read almost half of them, very cool. I ordered one blueberry scone, and that, unfortunately, was not great. It took about 15 minutes to get the one scone, while my groceries sat in my hot car. I'd finished my coffee before I got the scone and since a scone is typically very dry it's kinda meant to go with a drink (I mean, why did it take that long to put the scone in the microwave for a minute). I ended up taking it home to have with a home coffee. I bit into the scone and it tasted like straight-up refrigerator. Just nasty. It went straight to the trash. I wish I would have known, I could have saved time and just flushed a $5 bill into toilet instead. But, I can't stop thinking about that cold brew!
