This place is amazing! I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in different states but this one is by far the best! The Pollo Durango is amazing, a must have! Along with the shrimp enchiladas, fish tacos and Carne Asada! The burritos are huge, and on Thursday nights you can get a "local burrito" and a drink (even a beer) for 6 bucks! First we come in and the ambience reminds me of a tropical restaurant located in Virgin Islands. We were seated quickly. Upon our arrival to our table, there are free chips and salsa. I love free items!!! I ordered the Tacos al cabron and my hubby ordered a chimichanga. The food reminded me of a mixture between Southwestern and Mexican. My personal opinion it was not authentic Mexican but more Americanized. This does not mean the food was bad, it was still good. If you want authentic Mexican, I suggest La torments, Paco's tacos, or king tacos. all the restaurants I mentioned above are local in Logan and are fraction of the costs. There is a lot of hype over Cafe Sabor that I don't quite understand. The building and atmosphere are very nice (it's in an old train station), and the overall ambiance is pleasant. As you walk in, there's a large rotating griddle which advertises that they cook their own tortillas. I've had a lot of different things on the menu, and while nothing has been bad, similarly nothing has really stood out except for the chips and salsa, which are excellent. You won't be disappointed if you eat here, but it won't be particularly memorable either. Good place to go if you have lots of picky eaters. read more

Great place! It's a little far from the main part of town which is nice and it's built at an old train station so it has history as well! The wait staff was very friendly. We originally asked for a spot inside, but they informed us the wait would be much longer than if we dined outside in the shade. Our waitress was very nice and came to refill our drinks frequently but wasn't overbearing or talkative which was nice for a night out with friends. There are many different choices on the menu. The burritos are HUGE so if you don't want leftovers I would suggest splitting one with someone else. I had the Chicken Chipotle Burrito which was really good! The chicken was delicious and the chipotle didn't kick a lot. Free chips and salsa before the meal was a plus! read more

This Mexican restaurant is located in the old railroad station in Logan. It's a fun space with remnants of the past, like old cargo doors which were used in the days when luggage and boxes were carted off and on to the trains. The food is mainly Tex-Mex and it starts with an overflowing basket of freshly fried tortilla chips accompanied by hot and mild salsas. It's too easy to fill up on these as they are remarkably tasty and delicious! My husband and I opted for combination platters and chose two entrees---his was chile relleno and tamale, mine was chile relleno and chicken enchiladas. All the choices were good. The chile rellenos were made from fresh poblano peppers, roasted, filled with jack cheese, coated with an egg mixture and deep fried----very fresh with melted cheese and a crispy coating. The tamale was filled with shredded beef and was nicely flavored. The chicken enchilada was shredded chicken with a red sauce---not too spicy but a good balance of flavors. Refried beans and rice accompanied the entrees. I have to add that we were here on a Monday evening and the place was extremely busy with tables of large groups. We waited a bit for the food, but it was worth it. At one point the server came to our table and apologized because our food ended up going to an outside table and they had to prepare two more dinners for us. The food came to our table hot and fresh, so no complaints here. We wanted to try flan for dessert, but sadly they had run out. I would definitely recommend this charming restaurant to anyone visiting Logan and we would certainly come back here and maybe next time we'll get to have flan! read more

Until they get their liquor license problems sorted out, there is no reason to subject yourself to this place. Their spicy salsa is pretty good, if heavy on the garlic (note that the "mild" is basically ketchup with cilantro). They have fresh (flour) tortillas. But they also serve pasta, which is just wrong, wrong, wrong. As other reviewers have noted, the food is heavy and Americanized. If you're hungry for a cheese-fest and want to drink lemonade, head on over! If you want something spicy and tasty that will be well balanced with a margarita or beer, forget it. Cafe Sabor isn't really traditional American-Mexican food, but is more California-style. The restaurant is inside an old renovated train depot, which gives it a fun atmosphere. In the summer there is outside seating, which is great in the evenings and a little rare in Logan (for obvious reasons, outdoor seating is not available in the winter). The food is very tasty and comes in large quantities. The salsa is pure addiction and I often have to struggle to not stuff myself silly on the chips and salsa. I was nervous with the 3 star rating on Yelp, but after several people recommended Cafe Sabor I decided to try it out! I'm glad I did! It was delicious. Everything we had was delivered hot and in good time. The chips are so delicious and we ordered Carne Asada fries for the table. They were sooooo good!! Crisscut fries with cheese, steak, guac, and pico! My mouth is watering just writing this! I had carne Asada tacos that were also delicious! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is they need to work on the Salsa selection for chips and tacos. Other than that it was great! We will be back soon! read more

What a disappointment! We saw great reviews for this place and were excited to try it, but left disappointed. With the exception of the fruit smoothie, everything was bland and subpar. The homemade tortilla chips weren't bad, and they kept them coming, but the salsa (both medium and mild) tasted like it was made from straight, unflavored tomato sauce from a can. I ordered the sweet pork enchilada combination plate. The meat honestly tasted the way Christmas potpourri smells, with cinnamon and clove flavors. The refried beans were runny and the rice was so bland that I barely even remember it. Our waitress was fine, but she mixed up our orders a little. Brought us a kid's drink instead of a normal size, forgot to bring extra salsa, and took a bit to check on us and refill drinks. We expected better from this place. Went there on Valentine's Day for dinner. They were not prepared for the crowd that night. Wait was long and they seemed very flustered. Served our food before we got our silverware which was weird. Our food was cold by that time. The chips were awesome. Fresh and warm. The food was really good, no complaints there. Big portions. The raspberry margaritas were not what we expected. We could tell they were made with a syrup-were hoping for fresh being in "Bear Lake" and all. I won't order those again. I had a taco, enchilada, chili relleno combo. It was very good. I will give this place Three stars. The food was good, chips and salsa was excellent but the wait staff was pretty bad! It took about 15 minutes to get our chips and salsa, which is kind of rare in a Mexican restaurant as we usually get them on the table within minutes when sitting down. They were pretty busy so we will let that go! There was a mouse running around the back room where we were sitting which kind of ruined my appetite!
