    Oreo bingsu (snow crème)
    David L.

Made it to CS just in time before they closed today. We were craving a bingsu and our Oreo bingsu really hit the spot. It was chocolaty, smooth and silky. Most importantly not overly sweet. They prepared one order in two to-go cups. Worked out perfectly for us.

Fast and refreshing! The owners were also very kind. Love having this place in the neighborhood.

Stopped in for an iced matcha latte, no one was in line so I was helped right away. Color was nice and earthy flavor came through. What a cute spot with plenty of indoor seating to meet with friends or get some work done. They have 5 different snow créme options there as well- I want to try them next time! Parking- big lot shared with other businesses

Delicious bingsu comparable to chains like sul and beans but without the wait, crazy parking and loud noise! We had the mango shaved ice and it was delicious. My goal is to try all the flavors by the end of year haha. Cute little mom and pop hidden in a plaza with many parking spots. I'm looking forward to trying their lattes/drinks too!

Solid cafe in the Oak Park area! I've been to Cafe Sapientia for a Yelp event (their bingsu is quite good), but I surprisingly haven't been back since. I have since realized why - Yelp has this place labeled as "Not a A Good Place for Working", which I personally disagree with. There's actually a decent amount of seating and outlets. Anyways, for my second visit, I ordered an Iced London Fog and a Tuna Sandwich. The tea was okay, pretty average quality for the London Fog. The Tuna Sandwich was actually really good and is something that I would order again. If you are looking for a cafe in the area with good food, drinks, and dessert, and is also a suitable place for getting things done on the computer, give Cafe Sapientia a try!

This place is so nice. The snow creme ice is so good! We bought one for to-go, they put it into 2 cups so it's easier to eat. Service was a bit slow considering there were only 4 people working (2 front and 2 in the back) and there were always customers coming in and out. But, overall the service was great, they were very nice. There are a lot of tables for people to hang-out/study/work. Overall, it's a great place to go get desserts. Would definitely come back!

Cafe Sapientia is a hidden gem! Tucked away in a quiet Oak Park shopping center, it is very unassuming on the outside. As soon as you walk in, many tables are filled with folks studying, chatting with friends, or just relaxing with a latte. It is a very chill vibe and friendly atmosphere. The baristas are always very friendly and accommodating. The selection of drinks and food options are solid, packed with flavor and variety. I love the tuna sandwich, paninis, herbal teas, and lattes. They also have delicious desserts and baked goods. Every time I come here I always have a positive experience. Highly recommend this local neighborhood spot!

lox avocado toast, chive and cream cheese taiyaki, iced matcha latte, hazelnut latte
    Reyna J.

This place absolutely lives up to the good things people have to say about it. We went at about midday on a weekday, and it wasn't too crowded, and everything came out relatively quickly. We got the avocado toast with lox which was excellent, as well as the chive cream cheese taiyaki which was also quite good. Drinks didn't blow us away, but they were both quite solid (matcha latte and hazelnut latte). Not the cheapest, but that's to be expected for the area. Definitely see myself coming back here!

Matcha is my best! My hubby likes original. Their shaved ice form keeps long time. They are keeping serving bowl in freezer. Their snow powder ice is unbelievably soft. I recommend you to try sweet, good flavor ice melt in your mouth.

    Cinnamon roll and iced coffee
    An B.

This coffee shop is amazing! I tend to order their iced coffee, which is the best in town. I've also had their cinnamon rolls and taiyaki which are the perfect accompaniment. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the quality of both the drinks and food keeps me coming back. The vibes are definitely of a neighborhood coffee shop; it's a good place to work or just catch up with friends.

I love this cafe. I never tasted ice cream like this before. It was very unique and extremely good. The Avocado Toast was amazing, full of flora or with a little kick (horseradish). The Taiyaki was wonderful as well. Stuffed with cream cheese and chives and full of flavor. It was pretty busy so service was a little slow but well worth the wait. Everyone was friendly and took their time helping me place my order as I had never had this kind of food before. Tables inside and out were comfortable and accommodating for adults and children. A large menu selection assures something wonderful for everyone. Wonderful food and service will have me coming back for more.

Where I think Longevity is lacking though is in their food pricing which I don't feel it's justified, I totally get paying a premium for their coffee. I ordered some avocado toast and a side order of sourdough toast; they have the avocado toast priced just under $15 for only one piece of toast where almost anywhere else in the area is priced at $10. The one piece of sourdough toast with butter was a whopping $8+. It won't stop me going there I just won't order those food items again. It's real easy to get to , located in Westlake off Hampshire blvd off the 101 freeway., absolutely worth a visit. Would have been 5 stars if food wasn't so pricey.

Selling that distinctive vibe, as expected the drinks came with pretty steep price tags. I got their Cloud Matcha, their version of Matcha Latte with cream top that I customized to get their Salted Maple cream (typically served with different drink). It wasn't like my top matcha list, but decent enough and prolly elevated by the setting. More than the drink, I was prolly more hooked by the flavored cream top which was less common and even available in non-dairy option!
