This is such a great coffee shop at the Westlake Four Seasons Hotel. I love coffee shops and the quality of their coffee is really one of the best around. Besides amazing coffee drinks, they offer so much more, and are always changing menu items based on the seasons. For instance they have a summer menu that includes a frozen espresso drink, frozen matcha drinks, and an affogato drink! Yum!! The pastry chefs are also amazing, and the dessert creations are not only beautiful to look at, they also taste great with clean ingredients. They have the best chocolate chip gluten free cookie around!! They also have a delicious breakfast burrito!! And if you love gelato, they have that too! Amazing flavors and taste!! The prices are just too outrageous here. The best example is a cup of tea which is literally water and a 50 cent tea bag (not loose leaf even) that they charge $7 for. Stir, is inside the 'Four Seasons' hotel in Thousand Oaks. The service is good and quick. I believe that's because other than hotel guest not too many people know about it. If there's a line the wait can be rather lengthy. The baristas work to make sure the coffees, drinks and food are 'just right' and don't hurry because of the line. The music is louder than the average coffee shop and since it is located in the Four Seasons lobby across from the check in desk, there's a lot of foot traffic and loud conversations. I had to have my AirPods on full blast and noise cancellation to burry the noises around me. There's little seating and tables available. The seats and couch are in my opinion too low to work comfortably on your laptop. LIKES: The barista is super nice and works quickly so 5 stars to the staff. I like to walk through The Four Seasons after visiting Renaissance Imaging, located in the Spa building, after having MRI's etc and get a little something at Stir. It is not a pleasant reason as to why I am having to go to have imaging done and I like the quiet time and getting something to eat after. I have been here quite a few times in the last year. The service is very good and I have never had to wait long. I get a coffee and a gluten free blueberry muffin, which is delicious! There are a few 20 min parking spots designated for Stir outside the front lobby doors and to the right (when facing the building). Otherwise, if you do not valet, you can park in the parking garage at the far right of the property (there is a charge). Tip: If you are looking for a magnificent view and a place to relax, I like to drive up to the nearby YMCA a couple streets over and look out at the city! read more

We wanted to experience an unusually unique cafe rather than visit a Starbucks or other big chain coffee shop. I was thoroughly impressed by this cafe located inside The Four Seasons Hotel. We were offered samples of gelato even though we were ordering coffee. I sampled the chocolate peppermint gelato and olive oil. Both were delicious and creamy flavors. The barista mentioned that the gelato is made fresh in Paso Robles, which is a couple hours north of this area. I loved the coffee and the ambience. Great place to relax and enjoy some coffee or gelato. They also offer doughnuts, muffins, cooked, pastries, fruit, and light lunch items. WOW! The coffee here is on par with some of the best coffee I tried. Coming here I didn't realize it was located in the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel. The valet was nice enough to let me leave my car there for a few minutes while grabbing my drink to go. I was pleasantly surprised by the rich creamy texture of my iced latte and the strong espresso flavor it carried. Absolute delicious! The baristas were very friendly and even made my friend a cortado which wasn't on the menu, which she loved. It has a nice modern ambience to it with seating available. What a great little coffee shop located just across from the reservations desk at the Four Seasons westlake. It's trendy, peaceful and top of the line drinks and lighter fare food. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They have a descent size menu for good and even a selection of fabulous Gelato. The coffee is great and it's never a long wait to brighten your day. Even those who are not staying at the hotel can pop in for a light lunch and shot of espresso. Stir is a cute little modern cafe located inside the Four Seasons hotel lobby area. They brew Stumptown Coffee so thumbs up already from me! Service has always been great and the pastry/sandwich items I've tried were tasty. Last I was there, they sourced their bagels from local spot, Western Bagels - my fave!!! Another plus in my books! Their hot panini sandwiches were pretty good and filling. Enjoyed the hot Italian sandwich, I always have a weak spot for delicious salami sandwich! They have a small lounge area in the middle of the cafe with a couch and small tables for seating. For those in need of a quick cuppa joe - there's short term parking located in the front of the hotel just for Stir. Otherwise if you plan to stay longer to eat, I believe Stir is also included in the restaurants for validated parking at the Four Seasons. What are you waiting for? Stir is amazing! I always come here when I'm staying at four seasons and even when I am not actually staying at the hotel I come here quite often too! They have a wide variety of things from coffee to gelato to pastries. I personally am a huge fan of their coffee. I get the cafe latte. The ambiance is great here. Once you get your coffee or pastries you can walk around the hotel or find a cool spot to chill and enjoy your drink. The parking you can valet or park in the parking garage, it's free if you validate it inside. I recommend this place for a chill time. read more

I've only been here once and, unless I'm staying in the hotel (not very likely) or showing up very early for a gym/spa day (not as likely as I would prefer), I can't image going here. That being said, the two gentlemen working were very kind and willing to make some uncommon substitutions to my drink. As a Low Carb High Fat devotee, I wanted the kick of the espresso, but the satiety that comes from heavy whipping cream. So they made my version of a macchiato (not the Starbucks kind, but the real kind, where's it's just 'marked' by the dairy.) At first, as I expected, they thought I meant whipped cream (which means sugar!), but they listened carefully and happily made my drink as I wanted it. This is the place! Who would've thought that the coffee shop in a Four Seasons' hotel is the place to go in town. Beautiful laid out and designed it's a modern oasis inside the plush Four Seasons. I love their Almond milk matcha latte, but it's the sandwiches that are the secret recipe. Their rewards program is generous and more than offsets the higher costs.
