    ube matcha latte
    Anna W.

The service was quick and friendly, and there was seating inside. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my drink. I was expecting the ube and matcha to have a gradient with some separation so I could mix it myself, but when I picked it up, the whole drink was already purple. I couldn't really taste the matcha, so it mostly tasted like ube oat milk

    Cozy vibes!

This is such a cozy coffee shop that is perfectly situated near the lake! My mom was visiting from Taiwan on Thanksgiving Day, and I knew the first place to take her when she said she wanted to check out a cool coffee shop! There are so many choices to choose from in terms of drinks, and my mom and I went with the fall special menu! The ladies working there were so kind and nice, and greatly contributed to overall experience! Can't wait to come again!

Bonibiis a quaint local coffee shop with super-friendly staff behind the counter, a welcoming environment to sit and chat or knock out some work on the laptop, while sipping on a well-crafted and delicious coffee overlooking the lake. It doesn't get much better!

Cute and delicious. This is a hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet spot. The coffee was delicious and the food was even better. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pricy but worth it.

Coffee was delicious and the wait staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the blueberry vanilla latte and it came out quick. It was well made and not too sugary which I appreciate. Also ordered a pastry and got it warmed which was a tad disappointing because it seemed like they just nuked it as the center was very cold and it was not evenly heated. The banana walnut bread was kinda dry as well. Sat outside by the lake which even on a foggy day is beautiful.

when I make it big I want to get a golden yacht and sink it in a lake and maybe I would want to get a fancy drink afterwards and luckily I would be able to do that here. The cafe is next to a lake/marina area and it's so nice to walk around! However, there's also ample seating and wifi so you can study/do work here as well, it's very much a relaxing vibe. The baristas are also very kind and patient as my sibling and I looked over their menu a long time debating what drink to get. We ended up getting a chai latte and rose matcha, and we both agreed that the rose matcha was one of the best rose matchas we've ever had!! Not too sweet, and very rose forward but still balanced with matcha. So so good. The chai latte was also good! Solid pick. Would come here again to live my rich yacht owner drinking coffee dreams

Most important thing they are pet friendly. Second most important thing: the location. Beautiful lake views, great place to take a stroll while enjoying your coffee/tea. The staff is friendly. The Ube Iced Latte was really good. The pastries are ok

Chai latte with oak milk was good, but ube more colorful

A great little place. The storefront is a clothing shop, but the back opens up to a patio facing the marina on a lake. The pastries were ok. The muffins were fine, the scone was a little better. The coffee drinks were good. The ube was nice. They also had nice bottled juices in the fridge case but we didn't try any. The service was very friendly. Nice place to hang out, work, talk, sip, and chomp.

    Cute cup. Great view.

Great location. Upon entering you encounter a fitness boutique store with plenty of running gear displayed. As you walk through the store towards the back, you will encounter the coffee shop. I purchased a strawberry latte to sip while enjoying the amazing views of the lake in the back. To my misfortune, that was the best part. Service was slow. After a long waiting period, my drink was completed. I asked for a large size and received a cup the size of a grande size which you would get at Starbucks. I found a place to sit and when I took my first sip, I became disappointed by how sweet it was. It felt as if the Barrista had lost track of the number of pumps added making this drink simply undrinkable. How disappointing to have paid $5 for poorly made cup of coffee.

Cute cafe near Westlake Lake. Lots of parking! Great view of the water and boats from the yacht club next door. This seems to be a spot loved by many locals in the area. They have a big variety of flavors to choose from: Vanilla, Coconut, Pistachio, Lavender, etc. I got the Iced Ube Matcha Latte, which was surprisingly not too sweet! The drink was mild and the ube took over most of the matcha. Very strong ube flavor!! The drink was creamy overall and not bad, but I personally wouldn't order it again.

Hi! Is this a good work/study environment like Starbucks? Thank you!

They have a few tables outside. But it's a busy plaza with restaurants all around. I would say not as ideal as Starbucks for studying.

The space itself is chic and impossibly cute, a mini cafe that feels like a hidden boutique find, quaint in all the right ways. The croissants are the genuine article: buttery, flaky layers with that perfect golden exterior that only comes from someone who truly knows what they're doing. Every pastry here is crafted with care and it shows in every bite. And the mocha coffee? That alone is worth the trip. Rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, it pairs beautifully with anything in the pastry case. The staff are warm and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience feel personal rather than transactional. One thing to keep in mind: this is not a drive-through. It's a small owner-operated cafe where everything is made with intention. Come with time to spare, settle in, and let the experience unfold. Good things take time, and here that philosophy is baked right into everything they do. Yes, prices lean a bit higher than your average coffee shop, but this is quality you can taste. You're paying for authentic French technique that honors the tradition. La Princière is a Thousand Oaks treasure worth every unhurried minute.

They have done a really good job with the patio and I could see that getting really busy, it wasn't the day we were there as it was a colder day. I ordered the avocado toast that came with a couple of poached eggs and the side I got was a cup of barley soup, my wife ordered the french toast with a side of bacon . The quality of the food was excellent in both cases, tasted good although I felt my food was on the colder side for sure when we finally got it and it was very plain; food took a while considering they weren't that busy. The service was good but not excellent, our waiter came back to check on us once when I thought maybe I caught his eye . I think there's definitely some room for improvement but it won't hold me from coming back... I will definitely give it another try; footnote- a lot of their ingredients are organic and of what I understand they bake all of their bread and pastry items in house. definitely worth a try. Accidentally held one cupcake sideways just as I opened the door home, so the frosting got smushed but obviously didn't affect the flavor. I think this review will be heavily biased by user error thus the 5 stars though my feelings are more on 3 stars. Since we were all busy, we'd have to eat them around 10+ hours after buying and to make sure nobody accidentally ate them before my birthday; we stored them in the fridge instead of room temp which clearly did something to the frosting and cakes. Family's average favorites in order are red velvet, the confetti, cookies and cream, smores, and strawberry. The red velvet is pretty good, it's pretty rich and moist compared to the other cupcakes and the cream cheese frosting is so nice. S'mores has a strong dark cocoa flavor but also was dense and a little dry. Strawberry and confetti had nice fluffy frosting but due to the fridge mistake, it was kinda like eating chilled whipped butter. I strangely really enjoyed that. Confetti also felt and tasted like corn bread; I wasn't there to choose or see the flavors, but it was a fascinating surprise when I kept chewing and felt grit between my teeth. I didn't expect the birthday cupcake to taste like a southern take on fairy bread? But it isn't bad! Overall, I feel like they're a nice place for a little treat--the red velvet is definitely their signature for a reason. But for ~$7-10 a cupcake the flavors we chose seem to lack a reason to come back :( Unless you have dietary restrictions! I didn't try them but they have keto, vegan, and gluten free options; I know how hard it is to find a bakery that honors all 3. I also got my cupcake in one of those adorable birthday boxes (bearer of the unfortunate frosting carnage so no photo) but the butterfly is so cute! They're definitely worth a visit once, the bread puddings looked fun too, but unfortunately it seems the cupcakes are just not my cup of tea.

I also grabbed a single serving of the blueberry cheesecake, which was light, airy, and still decadently satisfying--definitely worth every spoonful. The rum babas were a standout: bite-sized, soaked in Jamaican rum, filled with Chantilly cream, and topped with a raspberry. So flavorful and unique--each bite was indulgent without being too heavy. And then there was the Velina cake... oh my goodness. A beautiful sponge layered with chocolate mousse and hazelnut mousse, all covered in a glossy dark chocolate glaze. It was so rich and decadent that I had to slow myself down just to fully enjoy every bite. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully made, and worth the drive. I'd absolutely come back again.

The transaction went well. When we got home, we ate the goodies. The trilogia was fresh and had great flavor. The red velvet, unfortunately, did not meet expectations. The cake part was dry, and the frosting was dense and had little flavor. Maybe I just ended up getting an older one, but at $8.25, I had expected a much better item. Okay Now to get to the good stuff the drinks and bites are stellar, here's what I got: I finally found a seriously addicting chai here in the 805. I'm very picky about chai, so when Robin insisted "you're trying this" so I listened and I'm so glad I did haha. Freshly brewed, no artificial flavors, perfectly spiced.
