This place is perfect for any occasion: family dinner, birthdays celebration, date night, or just because! They have live band and DJ sometimes so the vibes are great. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. They had a photographer taking pictures and I bought a package bc it was conveniently priced and it was for Valentine's Day. I love the customer service and how tasty everything is. I highly recommend this place.

Ok, we have been to this place many many times but we have come back after months this time. Food was good BUT BAND WAS NOT. Please BRING BACK THE GIRL who used to sing with her band. The way it was organized before was WAY BETTER. This time around they got breaks and the speaker music was a mess. Then certain songs the singer just didn't get the notes correctly, because this place is more often visited BY US to dance we will not be coming back UNLESS something changes with the band sitiation. I hate leaving bad reviews but I just had to. We spend a good amount of money and left EARLY also, my salmon was forgotten to put on the order, the server tried to make it right by giving me an extra drink but STILL MY DINNER WAS ONE HOUR LATE AND MY COMPANIONS WERE ALREADY DONE WITH THEIRS WHEN MINE ARRIVED.

I have been a wednesday regular for a few months. Overall, i had good experience. The restaurant clears out an area for Salsa/Bachata dancing. The staffs are accommodating. So far, i dont have a bad thing to say about the establishment

I stopped at Cafe Sevilla in Costa Mesa to make time and avoid traffic. I have been at Cafe Sevilla in San Diego multiple times, but this was my first time in this location. The Sangria Royal with liquor 43 is fantastic! The grilled octopus Romesco was excellent. The croquettes and the patatas bravas were okay. I love Spanish food! Service was friendly and on point. Mia made me feel welcomed. It is nice that there is a big parking structure. This location also has the flamenco show every other Saturday. That is always si much fun. I will definitely return with family to enjoy a full dinner sometime.

We came here with some friends who were visiting from out of town. I really liked the vibe, and I thought the restaurant itself was really pretty. However, I don't think I would come here again. They sat us at the smallest table known to mankind. The table would have barely comfortably have fit 2 - let alone 4. We are big foodies so we like to order a little of everything, and we were not able to do so. The table only fit 3 appetizers. We could not even order our food until we were done because we would have had nowhere to put it. We ordered another appetizer and asked the server if we could be moved to a bigger table in the main room. Luckily they were able to accommodate us, and we felt like we could actually breathe and enjoy our food. The food was really good - do NOT skip the kalamata fresh load. It was some of the best bread I have ever had. The paella was mid. The braised short rib was also just okay. They had live music playing which was nice. The prices are high but you're paying for an experience. Don't expect to come here for a quiet date night, come if you want to sing and dance and be in the middle of a party!

I use to love coming here. Even have celebrated birthdays here but I just came on Thursday for the half off tapas all night and was confused when I got the bill and it was all full price. Then I showed the bartender the website that states half off tapas all night Wednesday and Thursday so they should honor what they post. He then went to talk to someone and when I got the bill again only some tapas were discounted. I didn't want to continue arguing with him so I just paid and still tipped 20% but definitely not coming back anymore.

3/4 stars depending on what you're coming here for. Service was good albeit a little slow. Hosts didn't seem that welcoming but it could've been because it was a slow Sunday lunch. The bad first. Papas - first time I've had soggy / plain pattatas a la brava. You're supposed to get a good crunch and some zing with this dish. Dates - too much cheese and it's too sweet. Should be complimentary but both of the flavors were overwhelming. Boquerones- not enough vinegar flavor. Wish it was more fish less bread / other elements going on. The good! Great deal on paella and it was awesome being able to make it spicy AND black. Olive loaf is also solid. Everything else was okay. Awesome decor and setting.

Amazing date night spot! They have a great happy hour menu/deal even on the weekends. We got 4 tapas and 2 chicken tacos that were delicious and the perfect amount of food and brought out so fast (which was great because we showed up starving). The live music and photographer were the cherries on top of an amazing dinnerCan't wait to go back and try more dishes, literally every single thing we got was amazing especially the queso fundido!

    Kimberly L.

Food was amazing. Happy hour deals are really good too. Got a watermelon marg and the queso thing. Shrimp was also great! We sat outside while the sun was setting and got to watch all the fires being lit for nighttime and it was such a great date spot. Super comfy seating. Our server Tee was a delight. She was so fun and helped with ordering. Checked in on us the perfect amount. Thanks Tee!

I was invited for a bday party and for a table of 14 I think it was and we were sat outside at the table with a built in fireplace. Our servers were Isaac and Mia. They did great in managing our table requests. I got a variety of tapas to share as well as a dinner for two to share amongst the people in my area. The pulpo, the beef empanadas, the gambas al ajillo, the paella valenciana, the salchichas, croquetas, and the ceviche were all really good. Paired the food with a smoked old fashioned and a Latin old fashioned. Both really strong but tasty. Finished the night off with some dancing inside. I didn't want my flash to keep going off so pics aren't the greatest

Enjoyed dinner with a friend here recently for my birthday (several weeks after). Neither of us had ever been before so we weren't familiar with the items or flavors on the tapas menu. Our waiter was very friendly and explained the half off tapas special--loved that it was available on a Sat evening. I ordered 3 tapas plates and a margarita. And, I left with 2 leftover containers. My friend ordered several tapas plates and yes, she had leftovers also. We kept saying how great the flavors were. I really loved the food. My friend loved it so much she was back with another friend a few weeks after that. Highly recommend!

Be on the lookout for special dishes on different days of the week. We ordered the steak and mushroom skewers which are nice appetizers to hold you over until the entrees hit the table. The drinks hit the spot as well and luckily we came during happy hour so we got a little discount on the apps/drinks. We decided to try roasted half chicken with the potato salad which were both absolutely fantastic. The chicken was cooked perfectly, just incredibly tender and juicy. The potato salad was well seasoned, had a great texture, and was a nice compliment to the chicken. As we were eating, a DJ came in and started mixing up some cool tracks which just amplified our experience even more. Also, Sonder is my favorite word so bonus points there (I guess I'm biased). This tartar sits on a fried potato pancake and is topped with a slice of green apple a a heap of shredded cheese. Honestly, such a fun bite with lots of textures. Pork Belly - OMG, this crispy pork belly had the most amazing, crunchy, fatty pork belly. It was served with a perfect thai inspired pea and radish salad. The salad was so good that I asked for an extra side of it! Charred Cabbage - so fun. I love the recent trend of charred cabbage, and this one was smoky and saucy. Zucchini Bread - I am so happy to see their zucchini bread as a staple menu item. I get it as dessert every time that I am here. It is the PERFECT bread. I also got their focaccia, but nothing too special to write about. Go for their zucchini bread if you want bread.

We got the hamachi crudo, Wagyu tartare, scrambled egg agnolotti, the burger, pork tomahawk, and the focaccia. Everything was delicious. The only dish that fell flat for me personally was the pork tomahawk, one side was extremely fatty and the other side was really dry. The staff did ask if they could offer me something else or get some kind of different sauce for the dish but I didn't want to be a bother so we did keep the dish. The burger was great to try once, but I wouldn't get it again as it was really messy and the buns were really soggy due to it resting in the sauces. The highlight was the scrambled egg agnolotti, it had a really good depth of flavor without being overwhelmingly eggy. They also gave me dessert on the house which was lovely of them. I got the semifreddo and it was the perfect ending to the meal. The yogurt was creamy and the strawberry granita were super refreshing and light. I also loved the cornflakes on top which added as nice crunch to every bite. They have a rotating menu so I'm excited to try what else they got in the future!

I love their passion and enthusiasm, starting with their "freshest bread". The oven-to-plate brioche is a signature starter that reflects their values, their commitment to getting you the freshest food they can. The Greenest Salad goes so well with this, and all the veggies taste like they were just picked from the field. They procure many top-notch ingredients, and most of the preparation is simple so the food can speak for itself. My favorites from that night include the Mussels Croquetas which had beautiful bits of shellfish and a cream sauce that was to die for. They also made the first Paella I've ever liked, and their Lamb is the most delicious I've ever tasted. There is a dessert that I hope they never stop serving. The Kougin Amman ice cream sandwich is a genius pairing, especially because they just might make the best pastry in the world. I love the up close and personal approach, and the ingredients are incredible. A fun little splurge if you're in the area.

The plush leather cushions on the bench seating inside is beyond amazing. I really appreciate a place that doesn't shy from making you as comfortable as possible. I love the tarnished gold and worn leather. I had the pleasure of being served by Savannah and Maggie. The service is sincere and REALLY knowledgeable. Their love of their craft is infectious and makes you fall in love with going out to eat all over again. I loved hearing their food recommendations (albacore tuna ceviche) and learning about the gluten free beer options. When sitting at the bar, it feels like you are sitting in your own beach house. Nothing compares to a locally crafted beer and a view of Newport harbor. I am forever in love with this place.
