The table I chose (high top with metal chair) was not super comfortable and part of the table was broken, so it was a little precarious. The bathroom was clean. The owner Pumpkin greets you like you are part of her family. She is probably the most welcoming owner that I have ever met. As the space is small, the book selection is also pretty small (Black story focus both nonfiction and fiction). However, you can order books through Nefer's Bookshop.org link and still support them. Drink selection, especially the coffee is GREAT! And Pumpkin can make custom orders too. I hope this business continues to grow and thrive.

One of the two women working there went out of her way to make a fresh batch of coffee which I really appreciated. The place has a very modern and European decor which I totally liked. The pastries looked fresh and appetizing although I didn't have one. Bronxville is a very tough town for a new business and there are already two established coffee shops there. This one is truly unique and totally hits a niche the others don't. I highly recommend it and will definitely return. The staff is welcoming and engaging.
