This is a cute little coffee shop in Bronxville. My friend was the one found it on social media so we decided to check it out. The line wasn't too long but there was a bit of a wait during the time we went. It seems to be a very popular place. They are known for their unique flavors coffee. I ordered Katastic (matcha latte) and my friend ordered mocha coffee. The Katastic tasted good. I wish they have more selection on pastries. I didn't see many that interested me. Overall, I definitely recommend to visit if you are in Bronxville.

Best coffee in Westchester, hands down! Also great for if you need a place to study/have some down time. I normally order an iced coffee or iced chai. Tip: mix the vanilla and the spiced flavor, it's heaven!

Stopped at this awesome coffee shop with a friend. We were looking for a spot to chat for a bit, and this place was perfect. We stayed for two hours and didn't feel rushed. There's lots to do in the area, as well. Worth noting, this cafe was super busy for most of the time we were there (early afternoon), and there wasn't much parking in the area. This part of Bronxville has a lot going on including local colleges, hospitals, restaurants and shops. The cafe itself is small with limited seating. But, the staff were friendly and the bathroom was clean. My friend got a latte and I got one of their iced teas. It was absolutely delicious and massive! Way better than Starbucks! Overall, the vibe was great and the coffee/tea menu was varied. Definitely excited to come back to this spot in the future and try more items!

When I'm on this side of town, Slave To The Grind is always in my peripheral. Grind is split into 3 sections: front has a table or two, order counter with a few stools opposite that and the back with a sofa. The latter was (is) actually the coziest- but I'm not sure if that big sofa is still there or off limits because of COVID. That's just the beginning. Then there's the hot or cold beverage menu, muffins and whatnot. Their Chai and hot cocoa are muted in taste - but I think I'm more appreciative they even have those available as opposed to just coffee. This is a nice leading light in Bronxville. Plus service is friendly and music selection always rocks!

The staff member who served us was extremely sour. Drinks were not great either. Chai latte was terribly sweet.

The coffee is okay, nothing special. It's always crowded with long waits. Lots of teenagers hanging out.

I got the lox sandwich, topped with lox cream cheese, onion, and tomato. It was delicious and a solid sized portion of lox. Too bad we don't live around here because we would definitely be regulars!

She gave us our bagels and forgot out drinks and hero. Then I had to stand there to make sure she made the drinks. And then she forgot the hero again. Then gave attitude about the drinks. She made two cappuccinos instead and filled them to the brim so that when we opened the flap it spilled on my husband and burned him. I was polite and said thank you despite all this and the response was a mmhm. Don't get upset if you get the order wrong three times and the customer isn't happy about it. We were there for 34 minutes waiting. Just waiting. Not going back there ever again. Don't go there if you want any type of service. When we got home the bagel orders were wrong as well. The only thing they got right was the Babit since the cook in back made that and my bagel with strawberry cream cheese. That's it.

We were not impressed. Fast forward to August 2019. We needed to pick up a quick breakfast after grabbing Starbucks. We needed to get on the road quickly as we were driving our daughter back to school and were trying to beat traffic. Oh my word. The bagel sandwiches we ordered were terrific. Tasted similar to what we order when we are in the city. You tell them what you want, they will make it. When I don't want to go to Lange's or Park Place Bagel (parking in Bronxville on a Sunday can be a pain) we tell them exactly what we want (memorize the menu folks wherever you go) and they make it for you, although they do not have alfalfa sprouts. The chicken noodle soup is lovely, parking on street or in the lot, great beverage choices, HUGE HOT SAUCE SELECTION, really cheap and folks who work here are so super nice, friendly and accommodating. There are tables for dining in and it gets crowded but not too crowded. There are students from Sarah Lawrence but also folks from the surrounding area. No pretentiousness, simple decor. You will not be disappointed.
