    Barbacoa benedict
    Kevin W.

Came here for a bday brunch and the food did not disappoint! I had the barbacoa Benedict and it's one of the best Benedicts I've had in a while! The barbacoa was tender and juicy while the hollandaise was creamy and had the perfect saltiness, I do wish they added a bit more since one piece had more than the other. The potatoes were great, they were crispy and salty! We also had cocktails and they were great! Cheap for brunch and pretty boozy. They also have a pretty basic beer selection but I highly recommend their cocktails. Service was just mediocre, it wasn't a busy day but it felt like our server didn't want to be there. We also asked about non meat options or if we can get the Benedict without meat and she just gave us a weird look like it's never been done before.

UPDATE! I've been here twice within the past two months and the obsession is real. Breakfast, lunch or dinner - the menu slays, but the most superior item on the menu is the chicken salad sandwich. The bread is thick cut and crunchy, the chicken salad is the perfect balance of ingredients to sauce and the arugula makes for a peppery finish. Add a side of house made chips on the side and you've got yourself the perfect lunch. You can make a reservation online; service is great and welcoming, and prices are decent. Sure, they are a bit steep, but everything is these days so just enjoy!

We were just here for restaurant week and had a fantastic time. We had a reservation and were seated right away in a spacious booth. The service was impeccable. There was always someone checking in on us, refilling drinks, and clearing away dirty plates between courses. I had the crispy artichoke, short rib, and carrot cake along with a glass of wine. Everything was excellent and come out quickly and fresh. I was particularly obsessed with the artichoke because it's something I love and have never had prepared in that manner. The short rib melted in my mouth. The carrot cake was the perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. I truly enjoyed the experience there.

Wonderful cafe and staff. It is small inside and would recommend reservations. Outside seating is spread out and covered, which adds some privacy to your dining experience. The chicken salad sandwich with housemade potato's chips, which are a must, is delicious. My sister got the Cobb salad which is loaded with all the good stuff!

Cute restaurant in a house. A nicer more pricy dinner but food is delicious. I'd recommend for a special occasion.

Short Rib Grilled Cheese - mouthwateringly delicious

Just wow... I was transported to a different world. (It was one of those days and a random Yelp review sounded delicious... ) Where do I start? The Food! We started with a crispy artichoke/goat cheese appetizer and decided to share the short rib grilled cheese and a Mediterranean salad. First of all, all of the reviews of the short rib grilled cheese are spot on. It's over the top good. (My husband ate half of my half and he's not a short rib guy, Im the carnivore in the family) Im actually craving the artichoke appetizer as Im writing this. Then the staff recommended the key lime trifle. Mind blown. The Service was casual, very friendly, and welcoming. We sat outside and were comfortable despite it being a very hot day. The atmosphere was so relaxing. They have an outdoor space which feels like you're in a private garden. I'm looking forward to going back (understatement of the year). We drove 30 minutes out of our way for Cafe Terracotta and it was absolutely worth it.

Jackson was our server, so upbeat and positive! We needed that today! We had lunch this time; and it was amazing. If you haven't tried this little restaurant; you are missing out. It's on Curtis street in downtown Littleton in a Victorian house! They are known for their brunch on weekends and reservations are recommended! Unique and delicious food.

This place is by reservation, because would be almost tough to get in during dinner hours. Love the feeling of coming to a home and being served dinner, the vibe was like coming to someone family's house and being served .... The staff were great and very helpful. The appetizers were delicious ... Dinner was exceptional The only thing that was ok and maybe needs more help is the cocktails. They taste like someone just put alcohol and juice and swirled it ...

Café Terracotta is cute vibe when you have brunch on the brain. I went here a couple of months ago and sat outside with my boyfriend. Service was a little slow but they did make sure our food wasn't cold. I ended up getting scrambled eggs with hash browns with a side of sausage gravy. It was pretty good, I wished that they served biscuits instead of English muffins. My mocktail mimosa was ok, it was flat with pineapple juice that lacked luster. Other than that my experience was good.

We finally had a chance to eat in the ding room and it was extremely pleasant - quiet and cozy.. Front desk was very accommodating with a time change. Waitstaff good as always. Best gnocchi I have ever had in a restaurant and the house salad rules. Cafe Terracotta continues their winning ways.

    Old fashioned was amazing!

Everything. Everything went well. Was simply delicious (every meal ordered was simply amazing). I can honestly say I haven't had that wonderful of a steak and potatoes in a long time. Service. Impeccable. The floor manager served us - his name is Jackson - and his sense of humor just added more perfection to the evening. We were together as siblings as my mother had decided to come off dialysis. Jackson didn't know this, but he came by and dropped off champagne. This is when you know you are somewhere where the staff has the ability to "read the room." I spoke to him later and told him why were we're there and he said he "had a feeling." We had no idea this place was here, but they better get used to us - run, don't walk, for an amazing meal. And hats off to Jackson - he will never understand the light he added to what could have been a tough evening.

I met a friend here for lunch this summer. She recommended it, and I was a little early so went in and had a cup of coffee at the counter. The guy waiting on me was so friendly. When I asked about the menu, about the barbacoa, he gave me a taste. Later, when my friend arrived, we sat out on the front porch. I ordered huevos rancheros with barbacoa and she had a salad. My meal was very good but so large it could have fed at least two people. My friend's salad looked delicious (as did so many things on the menu.) I'm looking forward to coming back. TIP: I was unfamiliar with the area, so was a little surprised when my phone guided me through a residential section of town. The cafe is on a quiet street that has another restaurant and a real estate shop.

We started the meal with two mocktails - both were great. The House mocktail was made with seedlip botanic infusion, honey syrup, lime, and

What is the noise level like here? Is it loud inside?

It is a converted house so on a busy night it can be noisy. However, they have a wonderful patio that is both covered and uncovered so that's a great option if the weather is okay. There is also a round table with booth style seating (in a crescent)…

During my June, 2024 vacation to Colorado, my friend, Felixx, invited Alyssa and me to meet up with…read morehim for after dinner drinks at the Lazy Greyhound on Saturday, the 22nd. Wow, I didn't expect to be blown away by a bar! The Lazy Greyhound is not your typical watering hole - the establishment is a chic speakeasy-style cocktail lounge inspired by the classic British gentlemen's clubs of the 18th and 19th centuries. Nestled within downtown Littleton on Main Street, the location is a hidden gem amidst numerous breweries. After easily finding free street parking nearby, we arrived shortly before 8:30 PM. Entry was like stepping into a different world through an unassuming exterior - inside, the dimly lit room's timeless elegance with Chesterfield leather sofas was softly illuminated by the three stained glass pieces above the bar, one of which depicts the venue's namesake. The tasteful décor adds a touch of class and sophistication to the intimate ambiance and handsome atmosphere. After we were granted to enter past the red velvet rope at the front door, we grabbed a seat at one of the Chesterfields. The comfortable lounge seating made for a cozy spot for relaxed socializing and the music volume was perfectly pleasant for personal conversations. The setting was casual, but refined, with vintage touches. My kind of place, for sure. To complement the stylish environment, The Lazy Greyhound offers an extensive menu featuring a unique blend of timeless classic cocktails, "OLD DOGS/TRIED & TRUE CLASSICS," and creatively crafted modern drinks, "NEW TRICKS/SEASONAL CREATIONS," as well as beer, wine and "SMALL BITES/SHAREABLE SNACKS." Remarkable service also adds to the delightful experience. Our server, Zach/Zack/Zac (sp?), was warm, friendly and genuinely engaging - he took the time to guide us through the impressive menu and was eager to offer beverage suggestions based on our preferences. I was looking for something with an egg white foamy topping, so he suggested the AMARETTO SOUR, IMPROVED ($15) which was velvety and the signature almond sweetness was not overpowering. Alyssa went with the ALWAYS ON CALL ($15), a deliciously creamy coffee-forward mixed drink. We also ordered the PINK SQUIRREL which Zach/Zack/Zac comped for us due to the long wait. The retro, indulgent mixed drink tickled us pink with its hue and creamy, sweet and nutty flavour. Serving the PINK SQUIRREL on the house to us reflected The Lazy Greyhound's commitment to customer care and satisfaction. Felixx ordered the yummy MEAT & CHEESE BOARD which was served with thoughtful presentation. True story: I super suck with electronics and am practically blind without my eyeglasses, so I accidentally undertipped Zach/Zack/Zac while using the handheld payment system. When I saw the receipt back at Alyssa's house, I was horrified to see that I hadn't tipped him what he deserved. I returned to The Lazy Greyhound on the 24th just before 11 PM. Even though they were closed and the doors were locked, I knocked until someone answered so I could personally give cash to Zach/Zack/Zac to make up for my mistake. He was very gracious and thankful. The Lazy Greyhound immediately earned its spot as a favourite bar of mine through their intimate, speakeasy-style atmosphere combined with their innovative concoctions and welcoming service. They stand out as a premier destination for a high-quality, relaxing and memorable evening.

Great staff, reasonably priced cocktails and a good atmosphere without being too loud…read more One of the few cocktail lounges I've been to recently where you can actually hear the conversations from your company. Each season they rotate their specials and their spring drinks are in! I actually prefer their last couple specials compared to this time around but they're still good! We ordered the equinox, master of the house and old fashioned. The old fashioned is pretty boozy but an easy one to drink, it's your basic old fashion but tasty Master of the House sounded interesting, but I guess I'm not really a fan of spicy drinks (even though I love spicy foods). I ended finishing it but my friends enjoyed it! The equinox is a light and refreshing drink, which could benefit from a little more lemon (or the lemon juice was on the lighter side that day). Overall it's a spot we frequent when visiting our best friends in Littleton. We love the quaint and Victorian atmosphere and he staff has always treated us well.

Yelp's weekly suggestions are some spot-on and timely. Had it not been for one of them I recently…read morereceived, I don't think I would discover this hidden bar. Its overall chicness in a spacious lounge-style room immediately cooled me down once I arrived (on the day I visited after work, the temperature outside was soaring in upper 80's.) The time was around 4:45pm. If I am not mistaken, their happy hour is 3-5pm. I thought I was in the middle of the HH rush but there were still plenty of seatings available and yet the place was nowhere near empty. And yet, I found just the right spot so I would be away from all the chatters emitting from the people mainly sat at the bar. The selections for wine (red and white) as well as the tap beers are quite the variety. During the HH time, the drinks are only $5 for beer on tap, well mules, wells spirits and any wine on tap. For a chic/elegant/upscale place such as this place, this pricing offer is extremely generous. I simply couldn't think of anything other than refreshing cold white wine so after getting a little suggestion from my wonderful waiter, I went with the Angeline Sauvignon Blanc (the regular price is $12 so I saved $7.) As much as I am a wine person, I don't go by the rigid rules. White win should generally be served between 45°F and 55°F (7°C to 13°C) and yet at home I chill my (white) wine in the freezer for a bit so it will be super cold. This is a must for me. And to my surprise, when they served me the Sauvignon Blanc it was pretty close to the super chill temperature I am used to. As if they read my mind, I was quite surprised and happy with the cold crisp white wine. It was a quick stop to have a little "after work" cocktail on the way home so I didn't get any food and yet that crisp chilled white wine I was served instantaneously made me a big fan of this cocktail lounge. When I asked my waiter when the place opened. He said it opened in 2019. I simply couldn't believe it. If it's been around for this long but the fact that I recently heard about it stunned me. And if I am not mistaken, the waiter said that another location is about to open in a different area in the Denver metro. It's nice to know that this business is thriving. Good for them.
