We had brunch at ViewHouse and overall had a good experience. The food and drinks were good, and the service was outstanding and really made the visit enjoyable. My only issue was the nickel-and-dime feeling when the bill arrived. There was a 2.5% back-of-house fee and an additional 2% credit card fee added on. I understand restaurants are trying to control menu prices, but seeing multiple extra charges on the check sends the wrong message to customers. Just build the cost into the menu prices and pay the back-of-house staff accordingly. Credit cards are also not something new -- restaurants have been accepting them for years, so adding a separate fee now feels unnecessary. Unfortunately, these added charges can also hurt the wait staff because some customers may reduce the tip amount to offset the extra fees, which isn't fair to the servers who provided great service. read more

Such a great location. Upstairs and downstairs open air two bars restaurant has bathroom on both level levels. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with just lettuce, tomato and cheese. It came on a brioche bun. I don't like any dressing so I was very pleased that this chicken was very moist and tender. The sweet potato fries didn't taste fresh. They were just OK. It wasn't very busy when we got there and Service was pretty slow. Had to flag down our server several times which was a bummer. The tall tables and barstools are super awkward and hard to get in and out of, and everybody kept banging their chairs into us, which was annoying. It was hard to even get up to go to the bathroom the way they are designed. But the weather was beautiful. The food was good and overall pleasant. read more

Best things first? Really love the atmosphere here. Downstairs feels pub style with huddle and bustle and then you have upstairs which is more calming. This place has a great charm to it and could be a great date place or family dinner as we had. The staff was very on top of the service. We never had an empty glass and they were happy to answer questions. The food however was sub par. One dish too spicy, another too bland and then even the basic Mac and cheese needed a lot of help. Came here to watch some games going on and it was perfect - plenty of TVs and a variety of food options. The service was good as we were consistently being checked up on. We got the spinach artichoke dip which is a MUST! It was probably the best spinach artichoke dip I've ever had and would come back just for this. My only complaint is that that the parking is not great - there is not a parking lot so you'd have to park on the street and walk. I've been to the View house in Centennial (or Greenwood Village) a few times, but the ambiance at this one was just nice and 'chill' We sat on the rooftop (LOL I have no idea if that's what it's called) but we could see the mountains clear as day! Now the food. I had the Fish n Chips special. This was a lunch deal for $13.99, I believe. So, with that you get a choice of entree and a side. Now you would think that 'Fish N Chips' counts as ONE item. (fish =fish, chips = fries) but nope - the fries count as your 2nd item. (if you choose to go that route). That was a little odd - but nothing I could do so I did get the fries as my 2nd item. The cod was pretty tasty though. The fries were not that bad either. Slightly above average for your typical bar food. My husband had the burger and no complaints there. If you want something tasty with a good view - definitely check it out. Otherwise, it's completely the same as any other view house you go to. Oh! Try the cucumber drink thing on the rocks! That was pretty good for the price! Our server was a rockstar too - I forgot his name. The only reason why i did not give this a 4 star rating is because of the Fish n Chips deal. read more

We enjoyed a Sunday evening on their patio....view was amazing for sunset! Our server Garrison was amazing and recommended the Strawberry Mule which was refreshing. The food was delicious. My only feedback is that the value for the $15 Pork Belly Bites isn't that great for 5 pieces. They were delicious but we felt like the serving size should be a bit more generous. I've been to this location countless times but less and less lately. The last time I was at this Littleton location was about 6 months ago. When I sat down at the downstairs bar the chair I sat on felt like it could collapse at any moment. As I played musical chairs trying to find one that felt solid enough for me to feel confident sitting on, the bartender apologized and said they have new chairs on order that should arrive soon. As I said, that was 6 months ago. Now, knowing to look before I sat, I find nothing has changed. No new chairs and most are wobbly and many have broken or missing parts. After a couple of beers, I decided to sit upstairs. Same issue there, maybe even worse. I had one beer and left. I've seen this issue before. This often occurs when a business is struggling financially, which really doesn't make sense. Risking a lawsuit over an injury because a chair that costs $100 or less is not a good management decision. It's short sighted. The wait staff is always fun, attentive and friendly. The choice of beers on tap are great, the amount of sharp, big screen tv's is terrific! I haven't eaten at a ViewHouse since they consecutively failed a bunch of kitchen inspections a while back, maybe a year or two, so I can't comment on that. It's a great place to watch sports games and get together with friends, but if you value your safety, try to get a booth to sit at. Management: Replace the broken and failing chairs! Wait staff shouldn't have to keep making up excuses for poor management. read more

It was a perfect place to meet up for a work meeting. Bright, sunny and very welcoming environment. We were seated at a booth and there was no one else in the restaurant when we first began. It was a wonderful menu and they have lunch specials. I tried out the lunch special and ordered their berry salad, think summer salad with berries, pecans, feta cheese?, and an acidic berry vinaigrette. I also was able to choose an entree as part of the lunch special so I ordered their version of a Thai peanut chicken rice bowl. It was a great deal, the salad was amazing, and the bowl was very clean. But not spiced in any way so it tasted a bit bland to me. Will not go back and I already talked to the manager enreka about and asked for a refund . not a good place to eat for the quality of the food and how it's cooked. waiting for a refund, will not go back. UPDATE:Got a refund of $62.00 out of a $250 bill. This is the worst establishment I have ever been too. The food is horrible and could make you sick, our party of 4 got sick after eating there food . Nice selection of beers and a great sports bar but more. Love the decor and our service was great! They do add a small percent on the check for kitchen crew but it appears worth it to me. I believe this helps with less turnover of staff. I THINK some kitchen staff often run out the meals as well. Be careful where you park. READ signage. It's no joke! Food was pretty good, so was the service. The sole reason for the two stars was that the manager apparently just cancelled the Happy Hour today because of a Rockies game. The place wasn't that busy when we got here, so great move! That being said, it did get busier and I heard others asked about the Happy Hour with the same excuse. Well, this is how I felt about 40 minutes ago, a.k.a. the last time our server came to our table even though he had been in the area 5 or 6 times, but never bothered to stop. Today we went to watch the Broncos game and the service was terrible. I know it was busy because of the game but our server was horrible. My friend was a vegetarian and she ordered the nachos with no meat, told the service because she was the vegetarian, the server said "it slipped her mindl" the green chili was made with pork, and still charged them for the nachos. I ordered the CRISPY BUFFALO CHICKEN SANDWICH (crispy red bird chicken breast, romesco sauce, roasted garlic aioli, bacon, pepper jack cheese, red onions, house made spicy pickles, brioche bun) but sub for a beyond burger (note: all burgers/sandwiches can be made veg or chicken). I asked for bacon on the side. And a sub salad. The 1st burger came with bacon. The 2nd round, it came with no cheese or sauces. The burger came with fries and a side salad which I was charged for. Mountain View sunsets on a rooftop bar! They have lots of beer options and cocktails as well. They even have a strawberry matcha cocktail (which I'll get next time). When I visited they were very clearly understaffed which meant us ordering additional drinks wasn't possible. The food was just okay nothing to write home about for this pizza. Tasted like the pizza crust was from a can or something didn't taste authentic in any way. The parking situation was street parking but free. For watching the sunset it's a good pick I wouldn't order more food here in the future just drinks. read more

Stopped in for some appetizers and drinks after a Saturday hike. We sat upstairs in the covered patio area. It wasn't busy at all but we waited 20 minutes for a waiter to come by. We ordered 2 drinks and chicken nachos. Waiter forgot the chicken part and "accidentally" added an extra drink onto our tab. The service was horrible, the tables were dirty and the place smells like sewage as soon as you walk in. The roof was leaking in places throughout our stay and actually started leaking on our table towards the end of our meal. It's a shame this place has gone downhill. We watched two other couples get up and leave after waiting too long for service. read more

I generally would not have come here but was selected by one of our party. I have been to others and they have always been mid at best. I will say that our server was great, quick responsive and checked on us regularly. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and it was already dirty, with the floors a mess. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich which flavor wise was just ok but it was just two tenders on a sandwich. The apps were also lukewarm. Mind you it wasn't super busy at this point. read more
