Looking for a dessert place. We wanted to try something closer to where we had late lunch. We have a very good place we usually go to for this kind of dessert. Someone in our group suggested Cafe Tokki. Never had so curious to try. Place looks good. Clean and lots of tables for a big group. We each ordered a bingsu. We tried the mango which is always my go to flavor. Ice structure was good, fine and melts in your mouth. Only sad part is that the mango cubes used were not at all ripe. No flavor, kinda hard and used the Mexican mangoes as opposed to honey mangoes. Would been great if they used that considering they charge $14.50 for each one of them. Other bingsu my friends had were good as I was told. Maybe I would have given it more stars if they used the right mango since it is in season. Let's see next time read more

What a cute cafe! It's beautifully decorated and so homey. I was craving bingsu, so we decided to give this place a try. I love that you can order a single serving of Bingsu! Waited 8 minutes, noone showed up at the counter. No bell to call nor they could hear us. Seemed noone care. This is actually happened on my last 2 visits.. After at least 8 minutes, an older guy came out with food on his hand and mouth full. Then served our food without washing hands. Is this guy actually the owner?? This cafe is spacious and clean. I brought my son here for a date during the day on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. They offer an assortment of Korean desserts, coffee, and boba. We ordered strawberry milk shake and a strawberry milk tea. The tapioca was so fresh and perfectly chewy. Both drinks weren't overly sweet either. Sadly have to update my review to 3 stars from 5 stars previously . I don't know if they're under new management or what (all the hanging menus on the store have weirdly been taken down) but they've really skimped on ingredients in their bingsoo. I ordered half mango half corn and there was no corn in there. Literally a ton of syrup and cornflakes- what the heck? No toppings either- just a huge dollop of whipped cream. See my photo last year vs what the bingsoo looks like now. Really disappointing when management starts skimping- if you don't wanna offer real corn then just don't offer it...and their prices have gone up too. Sadly this used to be my favorite bingsoo place but I wont go back now. read more

Cute cafe serving Bingsu, taiyaki, and other Asian desserts. We ordered hot ginger tea and two Bingsu. Note that the Bingsu is shaved pretty thinly so if you prefer larger ice shavings this may not be the place for you. The signature Bingsu was a taro-flavored base with red bean and boba pearls. It was not overwhelmingly sweet and the traditional flavors mixed well together. The mango Bingsu is a milk base that comes with mangos, syrup, and condensed milk on top. The mango chunks were large and sweet which was a nice surprise considering that they're not in season right now. Overall a great dessert experience. read more

Yummy yummy bingsu!! I got a combo bingsu allowing me to try two different flavors. I got the mango bingsu (always a classic flavor) and the injeolmi bingsu (kind of like a sweet rice cake flavor). Both were really good flavors and the amount of toppings to shaved ice were the perfect ratio. Service was great too and were relatively quick with our bingsu order. Ambiance is nice too, good for groups of people to sit and chat but there are also some smaller tables if you were looking for a nice cafe to sit in. I ordered a green tea milk tea, and it somehow managed to be both extremely sweet and really bitter at the same time - it tasted completely wrong, like something had been mixed incorrectly. The attitude was honestly worse than the drink. They were dismissive, unhelpful, and made zero effort to fix the situation. Always save room for dessert? End KBBQ nights with boba? Well Cafe Tokki is the newest addition to Eunia Plaza. Across from Arirang, it's a great spot to end a meal at after KBBQ. Bingsoo, honey toast, other pastries, and drinks make up this small, cozy spot. The interior is made up of a few small round tables and chairs. One side with sofa seats and chairs fits two larger parties and there are smaller sets on another side. Hours are 12-11pm though this isn't listed on their doors. They were out of strawberry and blueberry on my visit, which were my first and second picks respectively. I ended up settling for a mango bingsoo and was amazed. Snagged a boba because I felt like I had to try it while I was in the area and it's new. Brought some friends over for a second visit to gauge their thoughts too but also because Cafe Tokki is roughly in the center of all of our locations. Main complaint with the bingsoo is that after devouring the delicious top, the rest of the bingsoo is pretty bland being just shaven milk. Would be phenomenal to include some filling in the center or offer sides like condensed milk to pour and increase the experience. Mango Bingsoo - amazing mango, tasted very fresh being super soft and juicy. Texture was silky smooth and flavor was sweet. Bingsoo itself was sweet, finely shaven milk. Great consistency. They don't have condensed milk to pour over on top, but it's not needed because there's enough flavor from the sweet milk and mango. Red Bean Bingsoo - similar bingsoo in being sweet, finely shaven milk. On top is dusted soybean powder, sweet red bean, mochi, and sliced almonds. Red bean was delicious and paired excellently with the bingsoo. Mochi was a bit firm but still chewy, like the mochi you'd get at a froyo spot. Makes sense because that's what it looks like. Honey Bread - a very simple honey toast, they don't offer flavors or anything. Sweet, fluffy toast with crispy corners, there's a honey glaze with whipped cream and sliced almonds on top. Toast is precut slightly, but needs to be torn apart still. Was yummy but not sure I'd pay the price for a basic honey toast, would pay more for customizations or flavors though! Classic Milk Tea with Boba - boba is somewhat chewy but is also a bit sticky, not the classic boba spot boba. However, the boba is very sweet so taste is good. Overall an average boba with okay texture but good flavor. Tea is very sweet as well, not sure if you can adjust ice or sugar here because I didn't try and wasn't asked. Classic Okinawa caramelly taste. Lychee Milkshake - milkshakes here are more of a slush. Seem to be blended with ice not milk and so they're not as creamy. Not too bad if you expect a slush but if you were craving a milkshake, pretty disappointing. I'd skip the milkshake for something else like their fruit teas or coffee. Walnut Pecan Cookie - imagine a biscotti but in circular, cookie form. Similar texture and a bit firm. This cookie is akin to the nutty, Italian biscuits and has an almond-like pecan flavor, though it may have been walnut pecan. All I know is that it was nutty. It wasn't very sweet, which is fine with me, but a disclaimer for sugar fiends. S'mores Cookie - mostly a chocolate cookie with some toasted marshmallow on the inside, but if it's not fresh, the marshmallow isn't gooey and is subpar. Visiting late at night, the cookie was not fresh and so I didn't think the cookie was anything special. read more

Cute spot tucked away in a plaza in Lynnwood surrounded by other Korean restaurants. Definitely a solid option for a night cap after having Korean comfort food. Staff was super nice and all smiles which is much appreciated. We ordered the strawberry bingsu with condensed milk and added cheesecake bits. There is an option to do 2 flavors if you want to try out multiple menu items. The snow flakes are super small and not icy at all and have a subtle milk flavor. My only gripe with the bingsu is I wished that it was more saturated with condensed milk. Once we got through the top layer we only had the subtle milk flavor to get us through the rest of the bingsu. The cheesecake was also frozen and had a slight freezer taste to it. Sooooo fluffy! Easily some of the best shaved ice around, the ice looks like literal powdered snow and I couldn't help but savoring every bite. We got a few pastries and the injeolmi shaved ice which was topped with soybean jelly, almonds, red bean, condensed milk, and powder. This is a cute, adorably decorated, open cafe with places to sit near the window to work on a laptop and seating for a group of friends to chat over dessert. They still had their Christmas tree up at the end of January which gave the place a perpetual Harry Potter feel. We tried a mango bingsu and sesame creme cake. The bingsu was huge and enough for two people to share. The mango was fresh but there were other fruits in it that seemed canned. The sesame creme cake was my favorite.
