I love this place! Took our friends to have dessert after our lunch. We were looking forward to haven't mango bingsu. Got there and mango was not available. Not sure why, but maybe too early in the season. We did have the taro bingsu and strawberry and banana waffle. We shared them among 5, maybe we could have one more, haha. First time at this location. Parking in the building easily available. Clean place. Lots of tables.

Great to see this place in business for "so many" years. Parking is still slightly odd, but once you figure it out, it's all good. Nice contrast to Hawaiian and other shaved ice offerings. This Korean "bingsu" is so much more sophisticated, starting with how much finer the ice shavings are. Asian levels of sugar/sweetness which is marginally healthier and a good mix of other ingredients, including the equivalent of ice cream to help you get over the fact that you're eating flavored (frozen) water. =) Service is outstanding and the sitting area - and bathroom - is clean and nicely laid out.

Nice little dessert shop in the Bel-Red area. LUMI is located in the retail area of the Modera apartment complex off Bel-Red Road. A handful of retail parking spots are available in the underground garage, otherwise there's some street parking around. I got the mini size mango cheesecake bingsoo, and was surprised by how good it was! I will say it was a bit on the sweeter side though. Portion size was quite generous for "mini", I feel like it could definitely have been shared by 2 people. Service was friendly but minimal, only interaction is when ordering. After that you will need to get your order when it's ready, get utensils, etc, and then bus your dishes on your own. The cafe is cozy with a handful of tables and some bar like seating next to the window.

Got the strawberry bingsu. Quite a refreshing flavor with real strawberry and strawberry syrup. First bingsu place where I've seen that. I love that it comes with ice cream and that they offer different sizes! Inside was pretty packed on a Saturday night. They have a few outdoor sitting available, but it would've been nice if there was a heater to keep warm on cold nights like when I went.

My kids love this place. We always try fruity flavors and mango is our all time favorite. Place is inviting and very clean. Little pricey but it's different experience to enjoy desert. Condensed Milk is best as topping. Service was Quick and we even asked for extra condensed milk and they were more than happy to offer it.

We came here for some dessert after dinner, and I love trying new bingsu places! When we arrived it wasn't too busy and were lucky enough to get a table, but around an hour after it was packed. We got the matcha bingsu to share amongst the 4 of us, which was the perfect amount since we were stuffed from dinner. I appreciate how the ice itself was matcha flavored, as opposed to other places that just add the powder. The red bean was also delicious as usual, and the mochi chunks were also great. Overall, a solid dessert spot!

Most yummy bingsu I've had. Had plenty of options with desserts and drinks. Pricing is reasonable. A great place to stop by for desserts with good outdoor and indoor space. Service was pleasant.

After dinner, we stumbled upon this little dessert gem--and we're so glad we did! The parking was a bit of a scavenger hunt (only two reserved spots), but there seemed to be some street parking nearby if you're up for the hunt. The place itself is simple but super welcoming, and the smell alone could pull you in from a block away. Right when you walk in, there's a display of the menu that made it really easy to order--and even harder to decide because everything looked so good. We ended up with a bingsu and a bubble waffle (the latter for my 8-year-old, who inhaled it so fast I barely got a taste). The bingsu was refreshing, delicious, and looked like a work of art--almost too pretty to eat... almost. Definitely planning to come back to try more flavors. We may have just found our new favorite spot!

We ordered 3 flavors and the strawberry cheesecake was my favorite but they were all delicious and the shaved milky ice was so smooth and creamy. Very cute place though only had 3 tables and it was packed when I went on a rainy night. We ordered 3 singles to share amongst 4 people and the sizes are pretty big and we could have probably gotten 2. 3 singles came out to almost $50 so it's def a bit pricey for what is mainly ice but I think it's worth it for how unique it is and would go again .

Cute spot. Pretty small location with a few tables. There is a parking garage which is nice! Ordered the strawberry cheese bingsoo. It was good and even the small size was nice to share! I would come back again to try the other flavors.

This is a cute little dessert shop. Have good seating, given they only serve dessert and coffee. Bingsu is their main item. There is plenty of parking in the condo complex visitor parking. We loved their mango bingsu, and the portions are huge, even the mini can be shared among 3 girls if you're eating it as a dessert. Service was excellent too

I recently visited LUMI Dessert Cafe and had a great experience. Even though it was super busy when we went, the staff was very friendly and helpful and made sure we were taken care of. We ordered two bingsu. I got the banana pudding one and my girlfriend got the mixed berry one and both were delicious. The portions were really good and everything was served in a cute cup which made it even better. The atmosphere inside was super cute and everything was very clean. Overall, it was a really nice place to hang out and get dessert, and I would definitely go back.

My friends and I wanted to grab a sweet treat after dinner and we decided on Lumi Dessert Cafe since they had a variety of items on the menu. There was milk teas, fruit teas, coffee, bingsu, honey toast, and bubble waffles. My boyfriend and I decided on the Strawberry Banana Bubble Waffle to share between the two of us since I was too full to want to eat my own sweet treat. It was good, but it is debatable if it is $16 good. The original bubble waffle they sell is $6.99. It was SO cold inside the cafe. It was kind of unbearable, so as soon as everyone finished their drinks and desserts we left.

They also do raffles sometimes, which I think is such a fun touch. Another thing I like is that they always have themed or specialty drinks. I haven't tried them yet, but I think it's fun that they get creative, especially around the holidays or different seasons. I also really recommend their breakfast burritos. The vegetarian burrito and the sausage burrito are both so good, definitely ask for hot sauce because it makes them even better. The only downside is that the line can get pretty long sometimes. I've definitely waited around 15 minutes before, so it's best if you have a little extra time. That said, once you place your order they make the drinks and heat up the food pretty quickly, which helps move things along. MERCURYS COFFEE @ BELLEVUE…read more Parking is conveniently available right out front, making it easy to stop by whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or staying awhile. This is the largest Mercury's Coffee location in Washington. I've been to the Kirkland location, which is drive-thru only, but this café offers a completely different experience. A fun fact is that Mercury's headquarters is located right next door to this location. One of my favorite things is that many of their pastries are made fresh in-house, and you can actually watch the staff preparing them. Their croissants are always a great choice, and I also highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. They even serve pizza if you're looking for something more filling. When it comes to drinks, Mercury's has some of my favorite organic coffee beverages. The Caramel Macchiato is my go-to and one of the best drinks on the menu. The café has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to meet up with friends, study, or get some work done. It's easily twice the size of the Redmond or Kirkland locations, so it feels much more spacious and comfortable. The staff are always friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the overall experience is consistently excellent. If you're in Bellevue and looking for a great local coffee shop with delicious food, fresh pastries, and plenty of space to relax, I would definitely recommend stopping by this Mercury's location.

I got beef pho and a pork banh mi. The pho broth is rich and aromatic, noodles fresh, a comforting solid pick. We were surprised at how well they packed the steak and brisket pho. The noodles and pre-cooked meat were in a bowl and the veggies were on a tray that laid on top of the bowl to keep it separate. All you had to do was pour the hot broth into the bowl and add the accompaniments. Very nice! I felt that the amount of meat was very generous and I favored the brisket over the steak (maybe because it's more fatty). I liked the portion of noodles that I was given. It might not be as much as other shops, but I don't like too much noodles. The broth was pretty mediocre. The flavor lacked a certain je nais se qois. The pork banh mi was also just OK. The meat was a little dry and chewy. And the pickled vegetables didn't seem that pickles. Maybe they were quickled? The star of the show here was the bread itself. The interior was soft and the outside had a light crispness that was delightful and I didn't feel like my mouth would get cut. The shop itself is pretty cute since they basically inherited it from the previous restaurant. And there is plenty of parking in the Crossroads Plaza. I think they opened last October so they still seem fairly new to me and have potential to be better.

85 DEGREE BAKERY @ BELLEVUE…read more Parking at this location can be a bit tricky. This 85°C Bakery is located in a large plaza that's always busy, especially since it's surrounded by popular food spots and restaurants. Because of that, the area can get pretty packed, but I was still really excited to stop by this location. As soon as you walk in, the space feels very open and spacious. I loved how big it was and how many tables they had available. Most 85°C Bakery locations feel more like a grab-and-go spot, so I appreciated that this one had plenty of seating and room to hang out. They also have touchscreen kiosks where you can order drinks and other items without needing help from a staff member. We walked around and looked at all the bakery items, and I'm always a fan of their almond croissants and protein breads. The chicken Hawaiian bun is one of my favorites, and their sausage bun is also delicious it's clearly a popular item. I also ordered their sea salt coffee. If you download the 85°C Bakery app and it's your first time using it, you get a free sea salt coffee, which was a nice bonus. While the food and drinks were great, the service was unfortunately lacking. One customer was confused about her order, and a staff member rolled her eyes at her. The same staff member also rolled her eyes at me and my family while we were in line. Overall, the staff didn't seem very friendly or welcoming. There wasn't much smiling or engagement, and it felt like everyone was annoyed rather than excited to help. We also noticed staff packaging food with boxes out in the open during our visit. I personally think this is something that should be done in the back or at least behind the register, rather than directly in front of customers. Overall, the experience was decent mainly because the bakery items and drinks were fresh and delicious. However, the staff could definitely be friendlier, as customer service plays a big role in the overall experience.
