You have to pay for the condensed milk, but the Injeolmi one already comes with condensed milk. Saw some people working, saw some people chatting. Overall, a good place to come for dessert and good ambiance!

We visited specifically to order a sweet corn latte, a drink which we've never had before and were interested in trying. Sweet Corn Latte, Iced 20oz ($7) - Surprisingly sweetness adjustments are allowed on this drink. The drink itself has a nice mellow corn aroma and a balanced milky flavor. It isn't too sweet. There's some fresh corn mixed in that's not that sweet compared to most canned sweet corn. There's stabilized whipped cream sweet on top studded with corn and then sprinkled with cocoa powder for some color. We asked to upgrade to 20oz but didn't get charged any more. Not sure how that works! (4/5) The drink probably has better presentation if ordered for dine-in rather than to-go given that the cap they give crushes the whipped cream. Photos from other Yelpers indicate that they have domed lids but for some reason they gave us a flat lid. K Cafe Dabang serves some pretty tasty drinks. We shop at the H-Mart around once a month, so it makes sense to return to try some more sweets. Bathrooms: Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women.

My friend and I visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon - a perfect setting for long chats. They also had a clothing pop-up in a cozy corner. We shared the black sesame einspanner, mango bingsu, and strawberry croffle. On the croffle, the sauce was sweet and the strawberries were perfect. Everything was delicious, extremely high quality and so esthetic. I loved the little details, like the spoon shaped like a little spade and a pink straw with a heart cross section. We had a very happy time at Our Place. Visiting here was like being transported to Korea. They even have croffles with flavors like brown cheese, and ube einspanners, and injeolmi bingsu! I highly recommend you visit.

We chose to come for dessert around seven pm and the cafe was packed. The variety of cheesecakes and other desserts to choose from was an adventure in and of itself! Everything looks delicious. Even the regular einspanner was well balanced and delightful to try. We ordered the sampler to try more cheesecake and definitely found our favorite in the Biscoff cookie flavored cheesecake! We'll be back to try the craffles for sure. They do have two locations now, for your convenience, in Edmonds and Mill Creek. See for yourself the delightful desserts of Our Place Dessert Cafe!

They have pretty typical Korean bakery fare and pricing seems to be just a bit higher than competitors, probably somewhere around a 10% premium compared to similar family owned bakeries. On my visit I got two pastries to try: Soboro Cream ($3.49) - Instead of a delicately crackly cookie crust, this bun has a much softer, almost moist topping, which may be due to them placing the bread in the packaging before being fully cooled off, allowing the bun to steam too much. There's a bunch of sweetened stabilized cream inside that's sweet and oily. The bread itself is kind of dry and crumbly, either not a typical milk bread recipe or perhaps it had been sitting on the shelf for too long. (2/5) Corn Mochi ($5.99) - This comes with six pieces. The corn mochi has a nice chewy tapioca flour base. There's black sesame sprinkled throughout giving a burst of nutty flavor. I expected to see whole corn kernels baked inside but I think they just use corn flour in the dough. It's way less sweet than the soboro. Texturewise, the inside is bouncy while the outside has a harder baked crust. (4/5) Overall Le Bon Patisserie is a pretty average Asian grocery store-paired bakery. It's more of a place to buy bread for convenience rather than anything special, but it does the job decently well.

I am always intensely disappointed with myself for not remembering how much it sucks, especially with 85 Degrees bakery just down the block. My latest foray led me to two loaves of milk bread for $11!!!! WTF? First of all, the two loaves look absolutely different... one is a square, and the other one is more like the milk bread shape. The lady behind the counter assured me they are the same. Spoiler alert: they are not, but they are equally awful. For those of you who knows REAL Japanese milk bread, it is like magic. I f***in' love milk bread... and while I don't use drugs, I imagine the euphoria I feel when I bite into milk bread is similar to a drug high. La Bon's milk bread is literally the worst white bread I have EVER tasted. It's worst than any grocery store brand and tastes like paper mache, wait, no.... I ate paper mache as a kid and this is far far worse. The pure and utter sadness I feel every time I put a piece of that shitty white cardboard into my mouth is worthy of a country western song. And everything else from that place tastes like cardboard. DO NOT GO. Or if you do, just be forewarned.... godspeed.
