Maybe not the most authentic or amazing food, but for fast casual, it gets the job done. You order at the counter, fill your own drink and they bring your order to the table. Their Bánh Mi Sandwiches are very good. Good location and staff. I tried the garlic butter sauce with pork, it was a perfect balance of flavors. I thought the jalapeño would be overwhelming but it complement the rest of the ingredients nicely. Why 3 stars? I've eaten here probably once a month for the better part of the past three years. (enough that we filled in 4 or 5 of the punch cards back when they still did them) It's always been consistently good. I ordered through Grubhub for the first time and was _incredibly_ disappointed. Please read your order requests! If someone asks for no cilantro, it's probably for a good reason. Ruined meals for two and the pho noodles were obviously made/stored much earlier, if not days earlier, because they were hardened pucks. Really disappointing experience. They are very friendly, and I love love love their lavender boba! The normal tapioca balls don't taste horrible like most others do this is a nice texture and tastes very good! We stopped by Cafe Trang during our bike ride since it was in a convenient location. It was an order first and sit down style. I ordered the vermicelli bowl with garlic butter steak and added an egg roll. My fiancé ordered the garlic steak banh mi. We got our food super quick, and I thought the vermicelli bowl was pretty good. The garlic butter steak was flavorful and the egg roll was my favorite part. The only thing I didn't really like was the vermicelli sauce that comes with it. I've had many vermicelli bowls, and I felt that the sauce was a bit too salty for my taste. I tried the banh mi, and thought it was really good. The toppings went well with the steak and the bread was a bit crisp on the outside but also soft. We also got the tropical fruit smoothie which I thought was extremely refreshing and had a great flavor especially after a long bike ride. read more

Their ordering method is interesting for a Vietnamese restaurant. You order your item (base), then let them know what you want included in it. My boyfriend and I had the spring rolls, pho, and vermicelli noodles. They weren't terrible, but they weren't great either. Each item we had tasted bland. We did whatever we could to enhance the flavor, but couldn't fix it. The interior was nice and clean. Maybe I'll consider stopping by again in the near future to give it another shot. read more

BUG IN FOOD, DONT COME HERE I use to come here a lot. I loved their pho'. I went in yesterday and there was a bug inside my pho'. I always have the habit of looking At my food, as I was going in with my chopsticks I see a black bug around a piece of cilantro, this has never happened to me before at any other restaurant, I'm so upset. I came right as they opened at noon on a Saturday. As the first ones here I wondered how prepared they might be, considering the amount prep that goes into Vietnamese cuisine. I was impressed with the cleanliness and professionalism that this establishment presents. Being in a newer part of West Jordan, I was hopeful of this place and I'm happy I wasn't disappointed. The food was great first of all, no getting around that, but the presentation was also well done. It looked great, considering the freshness that Vietnamese plates embody within the ingredients, I can tell they only want to give you the best there is to offer. All of the vegetables were clean and beautiful. I love the stye/brand they have, kind of a mix between Cafe Rio style ordering and a gorgeous Vietnamese restaurant. The outside seating is a wonderful option to those perfect weather days. Highly recommend it! All in all I would tell my friends and family to try this place. This place is fairly knew to this development but it has decent Vietnamese food. You walk up and order your food and they make it right there in front of you. Update, I came here to eat and take to go orders for my co-workers. I asked for a small sample bowl of broth just to try it cause you never know when youre gonna buy that full bowl of pho only to hate it right? They didnt give it to me and said I had to pay for the full serving to try it. That bugged me a bit cause I come here quite a bit...on top of that, it's actually traditional to have a small bowl of pho broth with food sometimes. Had to remove a star for that. I got spring rolls and a pork banh mi. The pickled carrots were way too vinegar tasting and over powered the flavor in the spring rolls. I wish the rolls were a little tighter as well. I dont think I'll order them again. I'm scared to try the pho, nothing personal. I just have a preference spot not far that never let's me down. The pickled carrots didnt taste as over powering in the banh mi and for it's price, the banh mi is worth it. Terrible. First of all, the menu is all over the place and confusing. I had no idea what or how to order. The ladies serving behind the counter are no help. This was, and I'm being generous here, cafeteria food. Panda Express is miles beyond better than what I just had. I got the teriyaki "chicken" with vermicelli noodles. My chicken was pink and rubbery, the noodles were soggy. My boyfriend's meal was even worse. He said this place used to be really good. Well,only time will tell for how much longer your business is going to last if you keep that up. You should be embarrassed at how foolish you are making yourself look. If you really hate your job that much, you should quit. If you are the owner of this place, please sell it because you are obviously miserable here. My husband and I have frequented here often, and loved it in the beginning. We both love their pho, and I personally have had an obsession with their egg rolls and boba tea, even if they are a bit overpriced. But the restaurant has been steadily declining and has become so inconsistent. A couple weeks ago, on a Saturday at noon, I came in and stood in a line for 20 minutes with another family in front of me, and the front completely unmanned. The family in front of me became antsy and started poking their head around trying to draw attention to themselves. This didn't help. The only reason the employee came up front was because I called the store on my cellphone in hopes that the store phone was up front. I didn't feel this was too big of a deal since I still ended up with my food and it was delicious! Here's what got me though- after a long hard day at work today, I needed my boba tea and egg roll. So my husband picked some up on the way home. DO YOU SEE THE PICTURES?! That is not boba! And although there are a few boba pearls in my tea, 90% are these.... strange, 3-day-old-jello-esk chunks. Cafe Trang is very hit or miss, depending on who is working. I usually get their vermicelli with just egg rolls and my fiancé gets the rice plate with pork. I ordered a bahn mi sandwich and it was really yummy. The problem was that I had no idea how to order, and the employee behind the counter was soft spoken and difficult to understand. I wasn't sure what he was saying half the time and ended up just saying "yes" to every ingredient he asked about. Most of the time he would just point to something, but I had no idea what it was. I tried to tell him that I just wanted whatever was listed on the menu board, but he didn't seem to know what was listed and still just asked me about everything.
