Vegetarian and vegan friendly!! Small little spots in a strip mall, it's easy to miss but glad we stopped by! The guy employee greeted us upon entering and was friendly throughout our visit. The highlight was definitely the lemongrass tofu bahn mi! The tofu absorbed all the flavors of the unbelievably delicious marinade and definitely exceeded my expectation. So incredibly delicious I was tempted to order one to go. Another plus is they have VEGAN pho. It was very flavorful compared to other vegan broths I tried in the past. Being a pescatarian it's hard to find pho that offers meat based broth. Lemon tofu lettuce wraps were also a great choice. Just as good as the bahn mi tofu! This place is a true hidden gem! Me and the fam have been here a handful of times, usually on Sunday after church since it's nearby and open. One of the best pho broth I've tasted! Yum yum! Today I got the lemongrass tofu vermicelli noodle bowl and 10 out of 10. I devoured it. The flavor was exactly what I was craving and I was surprised it had a little spice without me adding any chili paste. Loved it. The bowl was very filling. Everything was fresh. Staff is always kind. Service is efficient. There aren't a ton of tables but we've never had a problem getting seated asap. There's usually a steady flow of customers. It's a cozy restaurant. I ordered egg rolls as well but I ate them too quickly as seen on the photo I have lol. Service 9/10 The service is great! Only rated 9 solely bc they usually just have 1 worker who may at times have a more difficult time getting customers needs met if it is really busy. What a GEM to find! I was really really impressed with my first visit here! Really cute restaurant and it was just warm and inviting to come and chat with a work colleague over great food. I ordered the Vietnamese sandwich and upon the first bite, my tastebuds were in heaven and immediately thought, "should I get a second viet sandwich to go for dinner?" It was that good! My colleague ordered a noodle dish and it was pretty tasty as well. What blew us away was also the Thai iced tea and boba milk tea - it was SUPER fresh (meaning the boba was fresh and soft) and I WISH this restaurant was closer to home. This was a pit stop on our way to Bryce/Zion. It's in a strip mall but overall had pretty good food and great service. We ordered the pho, spring rolls, and lettuce wraps. The food was solid - but the lettuce in the lettuce wraps weren't too fresh. They swapped it out right away though! I wish the restaurant was a tad bit cleaner - there were a bunch of flies buzzing around and the tables weren't cleaned until we were leaving. A buddy of mine took me there for the first time a couple days ago. I'm a bit of a Pho nut so I was a little surprised I'd never heard of it. Well I was in for a treat. The Pho was delicious! The spring rolls were also delicious. It was late in the day so I didn't try the Viet coffee but plan to next week. The ambiance is nice and cozy and the service was excellent. Takeout tour 2021 You & I Kitchen takeout is a great idea. They have pretty good hours 11am to 9pm closed Tuesday. We ordered a few selections from the menu. First off we got the eggrolls. The wonton wrap is super crunchy they are big , very tasty and they come with a sweet vinegar dipping sauce. They cut them up into bite size pieces and I appreciate it. Next we got the cream cheese wontons. They were filled nicely with a sweet cream cheese and fried they come with a sweet red sauce. Theses are a bit sweeter than I prefer but that didn't stop me from eating them. We also got the specialty noodle bow. It was Lemongrass beef spicy noodle. The aromatic herb infused beef broth is tasty and spicy. This is different from Pho and actually to spicy for my taste but I ordered it for my husband who loves the spicy. Finally I ordered the sunny side up egg sandwich. I was skeptical but I did it anyway. I sure am glad I did because it was scrumptious. The egg was cooked perfectly. All the fresh crunchy vegetables went well with the soft fried egg and bread. I highly recommend this sandwich. We will definitely be trying more from You & I Kitchen in the future. read more

Food was great! The pho was rich and hearty. Perfect on a cold day My parents both got pho and they really enjoyed it. They have a special hot sauce /satay sauce that they brought out for us to try. We asked for a extra small bowl so they could siphon off some pho broth for me to dip my Banhmi sandwich in. If you haven't dipped banh mi in pho broth before, you're missing out and need to try it! ** I ordered the grilled meat banh mi and added a fried egg. Yoke was cooked all the way through (no big deal), next time I will ask for an over easy egg or sunny side up egg because I prefer runny yoke. So much food! This place is located where the old Pho V used to be, that was the first place to receive a death threat on Yelp for leaving them a negative review. Glad this place came and I wasn't aware they had been here 8+ months. My 3rd time here and their Pho is fabulous, not greasy, not full of MSG. They cook it with beef bones up to 18 hours. The beef is high quality and the veggie plate is quite nice too. Tried their kimchi fried rice 2x and laughed cause the owner and his wife are from Vietnam not South Korea. :-) Fried Egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, and banh mi also delectable. Small selection of boba teas and they are great! They rival Kung Fu Tea, Ding Tea, and 7Buddha on the brown sugar milk tea. Haven't tried their others to compare. It's been too long since my last review. Today I will be posting two! This is the good one, the other is an absolute train wreck. A Yelp friend responded to a request to my search for the best pho. I have tried at least 25 locations, from Ogden to Orem over the past 10 years. Most of them are pretty good, several are very good, and a couple are favorites, but I was feeling I was in a rut. And the cost of a good bowl with all the meats has approached $20 after tip. J suggested YI Kitchen. A bit of a drive but let's go. A small place (10 tables) that you won't stumble upon unless it's your destination. First observation - meticulously clean. Including air ducts, lighting, floors, restrooms and all seating areas. Second, the staff operates perfectly. Greeting, water, explanation (I always play dumb, it's a skill) and order. And finally, I found my favorite pho. The bean sprouts were huge and crisp. The basil was picked to order. The broth was incredibly flavorful but not overdone with fat, and the meats were top choice. I have only given one other 5 star rating for pho, and while I would never remove a given star, YI is the best! OK friends, MAKE THEM THRIVE!!! read more

You and I Kitchen is in the spot where Pho V used to be. I'm happy for the change now after having tried them a couple times. They serve Pho, Banh Mi, Vermicelli or Rice Bowls, Fried Rice and Smoothies, along with some of the standard starters you'd expect from a place like this. On our first order, which was to-go, I got the Specialty Noodle Bowl --Lemongrass Spicy Beef Noodle. It was up there with some of the better versions of Bun Bo Hue I've had. I asked for it extra spicy but was told they will put the chili oil on the side, as they don't know how much spicy I can handle (answer: all of it). The broth is a little spicy already and the ingredients were all very good, fresh, flavors really stood out. My daughter got the Meatball Pho. She reported that she thought the broth was above average. She's a big fan of Pho and has had it from at least a dozen local places so I think that's a pretty good endorsement. Today I got the Garlic Rib-Eye Steak Sandwich. I enjoyed it. That said, there are better Banh Mi in town. The pickled(?) daikon and carrot didn't taste pickled at all. That was really the biggest ding for the Banh Mi. I also got the Fresh Spring Rolls. This was somewhat disappointing. Not bad just not as good as many others I've had. I got shrimp and that part was fine. They were rolled nicely and they didn't fall apart when I was eating them. The peanut sauce was good, I added chili oil and sriracha to mine. The part that was a little disappointing was that there was only lettuce, rice vermicelli and shrimp inside, no cilantro, no mint, no basil. They are super friendly and very close to my house so this will be a regular spot for me. read more
