The last two times I've ordered here, this location draws a picture to go along with the names we use. My husband and I laugh every time. We love Jersey Mikes, and this location has won us over. Not sure who draws the pictures, but please don't stop! We love it! I had a very disappointing experience at this Firehouse Subs. What stood out the most was the way the manager, Katie, treated her employees. She spoke to them in a rude and disrespectful manner in front of customers, which made the environment uncomfortable and unprofessional. Watching employees be talked down to while they were trying their best was disappointing. A manager should lead by example, and based on what I witnessed, that wasn't the case. I wanted a sandwich and thought I'd give jersey mikes a try. I have tried jimmy jones and wasn't too impressed. Walked in and staff was friendly and suggested great sandwiches. I got a #8. And I asked about what they suggested for my husband. He likes pastrami and I think he looked like manager or owner suggested the #4 or #11 which was on their secret menu. So I went with 11 which I think was ham and salami. Both on wheat. I had them make it mikes way so I can try it it out, They didn't believe it was my first time! They said being first time I get a cookie for free. Definitely hit the spot. Sandwich was built perfectly IMO and tasted great. Their wheat bread was awesome, and I never would think to put vinegar and oil and season on a sandwich and def would be doing that again! When I'm in the mood for a sandwich, I don't hesitate to visit Jersey Mike's. They are consistently good with fresh ingredients. Service is quick and friendly and the store is always clean. It's a great experience all around. My only complaint is the price. I eat like a 12 year old, so my sandwich is usually bread and meat. Maybe lettuce if I'm feeling adventurous. I realize that this is a unique situation-most people order enough toppings to justify the cost. But since I don't, sometimes I struggle to pay the full price. And then I remember how good it is. We have eaten here a dews times and the food and service were great. However I stopped in tonight for a small order and was very disappointed. The guy asking for my order was very rude and condescending to me and his co-workers. The bread he used for my sandwich was stale, and to top it off I was overcharged for my order. This Jersey Mike's is top-notch and deserves high praise!!! I ended up with 18 parent chaperones for a school field trip and of course I wanted to feed them a great lunch as a thank you for volunteering and the Jersey Mike's by my school cancelled my order shortly before pick-up and I was in a mega predicament, until I called this shop in South Jordan and Julius and his team came to my rescue! They were polite, helpful and we're able to expedite my order with perfect precision. My parents were very pleased to have excellent sandwiches, and one even told me that it was one of the best sandwiches she's ever had! I ordered on line and paid. Got a text saying when it would be done. I was a few minutes late. I had left a tip because I'm handicapped and wanted them to bring order to my car like 15 feet in front of store. When I got here the guy said he wouldn't bring it to the car. Then he said he never got my order. Then he immediately found it. So I'm here waiting for him to make the order. I'm really upset that they couldn't bring it to the car. We ordered two roast beef sandwiches. After getting home we noticed the raw meat smell and the raw bloody meat on the sandwiches. When we called the store, because we would not have made it there in time before they closed, they didn't believe us. They finally and hopefully credited our account. Most Jersey Mike's you will taste the exact same thing. That's probably why you go once you like their stuff. The other day I went in and the bread was crusty (probably from the night before since it was at start of shift), I asked for some red hot relish and it tasted funky. Really tasty sandwiches and the service has been excellent every time I've gone. I have celiac disease and I know gluten-free can be a huge pain in the bum but they go above and beyond to make sure the risk for cross-contamination is low. The tub option is safest but for the times I've opted for the GF bread I haven't gotten sick. I appreciate the care they put into changing gloves, separate cutting boards and knives, and wiping things down beforehand.
