This place has a focus on specialty coffee. I ordered the Blueberry Latte iced, having had blueberry coffee in the past and finding it delicious. The cafe makes an iced coffee and used a flavored syrup, so the flavor profile takes some getting used to but not terrible. Also ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel and it was amazing. Wherever they get the bagels from does an excellent job. Also bonus points for using white cheddar instead of yellow. It's both sweet and savory and perfect after a hike at sourland. Last, don't order through the Yelp app as their system is not quick to update. Placed my order at 10:26 and did not show as ready till 10:54. If I had gone to the cafe website and ordered through there I would have been notified at 10:41 my order was ready. read more

What a LOVELY discovery for me on this rather dismal day. As a first time customer I was very pleasantly surprised to find a long and tempting list of coffee drinks - lots of luscious sounding new combinations (not same old/everywhere). I chose a Salted Caramel Mocha Latte which was absolutely divine. Perfection. EXACTLY how I wanted it. I found the ambiance to be extremely pleasant - furnishings in pristine condition and everything super clean. This is a spot where both male and female customers would feel equally at home. The Barista was helpful, making appropriate suggestions. I asked about seating during COVID, and customers are welcome to do so. Also, this is one of the few places I have found since COVID where you are welcome back WITH your laptop. The Barista highly recommend that I return to try their crepes (served all day). This place has potential but lacks the food to back the menu. Everything looks great on the wall but the tastes is just not what it should be. CafeMerica should focus less on what they hope to achieve with all its ambitious menu and focus on more flavorful food. It's okay to say you have a delicious offering if you back it up. I was looking for a place to grab coffee before a round of golf around the corner and I am thrilled to have found this spot. My first trip here I got the caffe mocha and it is delicious. The second time around I just happen to be passing by and had to go back. My girlfriend got the chai tea latte, which was also delicious, and we got a apple pie cinnamon crepe. This place is a treat. I love this local cafe. It has reasonable priced drinks and food. You can order ahead and take out or eat in at one of their comfy tables. They serve crepes which as yummy. I tried one with strawberries and Nutella and pleased! My favorite is the walnut cinnamon nut bread which they ask if you want heated up. They sell Starbucks drinks but also several other really cool different flavors. The staff is incredibly friendly and caring, especially Jessica and Colette. We used to love going to CafeMerica because we enjoyed the coffee/crepes so much, but will never return after what happened this past week. I had met up with a friend and had coffee with her and brought my 3 year old (he always comes along). We were rudely told to "bring our noise level down because people are working." There were only 3 other people in the cafe aside from the 3 of us, and my son was crying on and off because he got frustrated. Had the worker come up to our table and politely asked us to lower our voices, it would have been ok, but she was disrespectful and condescending. My friend approached her, but she told us there are acceptable places for noise such as a park...which basically was telling us to leave. It's unfortunate because we were frequent flyers here. When we got there, one of the workers even noticed how big my son was getting, but because this lady was rude to us, we won't be returning or supporting this business. I guess next time they should have quiet hours posted and a sign that says little children aren't allowed inside. read more

PLACE IS OPEN. New coffee shop showed up in this area which is great since no need to drive into Princeton for local coffee. We got the nitro brew coffee with cream, berry smoothie and coffee. Pricing is comparable with other coffee shops. Nitro was really smooth and delicious but a little too sweet because of the cream. Their coffee is delicious . Berry smoothie is okay and refreshing. I love to support small business but I must be honest with my review. Keep in mind that this review is after my first visit. I had a cinnamon latte which cost the same as a famous name brand but was very watery. I was super underwhelmed. I also had a turkey and red pepper crepe which was at best mediocre. My friend had a good cup of coffee and chicken noodle soup that was flavorless. I am super disappointed especially since my latte & wrap were $19.00. This is not a family friendly place anymore! I've been here over a dozen times to meet with friends. A disgruntled employee told my friend to keep her son quiet because "people were working" in the cafe. This is a cafe, a place to socialize, not a library nor an office. He is a toddler and was not acting out in the least. When I calmly asked about there being a posted sign for requesting quiet, she yelled at me. There were 6 people total in the place at 12:30. We were half of the patrons and were told to leave. This business will fail due to discrimination against families and children. read more

Came in here with my daughter one day and it was our first time. We live right down the road so we figured we'd give it a shot after school one day. Walked in and everything seemed nice, except the employees looked miserable and there were bugs everywhere. Flies, fruit flies swarming the trash and buzzing around the employees heads. The "freshly brewed hot coffee" tasted extremely watered down and was not hot, and the sandwich we received was burnt and hardly edible. The baked goods in the case that someone told me was "from a local bakery" are really just the same things i see at Costco, just triple the price.
