I really like this place, I didn't in the past but now it has become one of my favorites. The environment is calm, just don't sit close to the bathroom, the opening and closing of the door can become annoying. They have a very extensive menu and everything I have ordered has authentic Mexican flavors. We have enjoyed tacos, chilaquiles, flautas, enchiladas, etc. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely keep going back. Service is a coin toss, I just always try to be nice and they are nice with me in return. This is a good sign!

Took over 10 minutes just to get the water after being seated and overall the service was really slow. The food was OK, but the service makes me not want to come back again. The place is nice inside.

Asked for a to-go side Caesar salad before leaving and this is all they gave me in my to-go container for 8 bucks.

Ordered a side Caesar salad to-go and they only gave me salad at the bottom of the to-go container. Mind you, I had already ordered a side salad with my meal while I was there, which was drastically larger. Upon leaving I requested for the same side Caesar to-go and they only gave me a little for the same price which was 8bucks! Then I called the restaurant to express the matter, talked with someone briefly and then they went quiet and hung up.

One of the best enfrijoladas I've had!! I would highly recommend these if you come. Otherwise, I got the horchata as well and it's pretty standard. It was a modern, newer layout inside with dimmer lighting. The restaurant seats around 50 people with booths and tables. Service was fast. Parking was pretty open with a full lot located around.

This is the rare family owned restaurant in The Woodlands that has continuously improved over the years. It has excellent fresh Mexican and some Tex Mex food and many other interesting options. My office gets the fajitas from time to time so on this day, I was thinking fajitas and came here for the first time in a long time. It was excellent. The restaurant has a very comfortable vibe. Service is excellent. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner throughout the day, which is a big plus for that midmorning meal. Well Done!

I do not appreciate the deceiving practices of the establishment. When I ordered the Gorditas of Chicharrón Prensado from the menu, I was served only two gorditas. According to the menu description the plate is composed of three gorditas. Also, when I asked the server how come the dish had only two she just replied that's how the dish is served. I didn't make a big deal because the people I went with were having a good time. Also, when we had finished lunch, I noticed the coffee cup of the person (male) seated in front of me had a lipstick mark. Disgusting! The ambiance seems attractive, but once you start paying attention to detail you will notice the restaurant is cutting corners to maximize profits. Honestly, I didn't want to go this time because the first time I visited and asked for a coffee refill they charged me for another cup. According to the waiter they charged for the extra cup because I had ordered an Americano coffee instead of a house coffee. So I sucked it up thinking maybe that's a restaurant policy I overlooked. Going back to my second and last visit, there was not soda/ice replenishment service. 2/4 people I went with liked their dish. The third person and I were disappointed. Next time, I want Mexican food I will have to drive south to Houston... Overrated

In my opinion and based on my experience. Decent but expensive Mexican restaurant at the western edge of The Woodlands. Located in a strip mall between two dental offices. Had reservations through Open Door, however did not need them as the restaurant had plenty of open tables. Settled on a booth but found that it was not clean - had food remnants from the previous diners. The pleasant young man who received us at the door proceeded to clean the table and the booth seats. Ordered Chips and Queso with Beef, Prosecco and An Old Fashioned, all of which arrived promptly. The Queso was runny and lacked taste. Food consisting of Cochinita Pibil Taco with Habanero Sauce (we had eaten the original in Rivera Maya - fantastic Mayan cuisine), Chicken Fajitas Mexicana, and Chicken Enchilada with Mole Sauce, also arrived in quick order and was tasty - the Mole Sauce was rich ahd choclatey. With an 18% tip, the tab came to $112 for three persons. Quite expensive, given that the food was nothing extraordinary; the Cochinita particularly so as the dish consisted of only three small tacos - perhaps suitable as an appetizer. Bottom-line, good service and decent food, but you pay a pretty penny for it!

Our second visit was an absolute delight! My husband and I were celebrating Valentine's Day and decided on their 4 course dinner. Everything was absolute perfection. Our server Joseph was amazing! Definitely give them a try, it will not disappoint.

This restaurant came highly recommend! The ambiance is great!! I love it! The decor in my words is hi end adobe ( recessed cut out in the walls displaying art and lights). Low light with mini table lights, a very nice touch... The guest are all multi cultural with all languages being spoken. And the food, the sopas are a must !!! An awesome appetizer! An the mole Enchiladas.. well, be prepared for a mole flavor that I never experienced before.. it was great!! A little sweet with what I can only describe as a barbecue sauce blend.. the chicken was good and the sides too ( though a little light) ! If there is a complaint, the temperature of the dish was more of a room vs. warm/ hot. Overall, worth a visit if in the area. Just my opinion.

    something chicken and tasty!

Our server was very friendly and was attentive. This is mexican food but not your traditional tex mex foods. This is more authentic and home made mexican food. Everything was delicious and we all really enjoyed. Awesome chips and salsa....I think she said the salsa was habanero based...wowow I would go for just the salsa!

I don't come often because parking is always a nightmare, and tonight was no exception. When I showed them the app, the staff seemed confused on how to do a redemption. So they had to call the owner for help. The owner apparently told them not to honor the redemption because they were in the process of switching rewards program platforms, and what used to be a 50‑point reward was going to be a 300‑point reward. The staff said my points would transfer eventually, but I only will have 63 -- not enough under the new system. Hey, I'm no entrepreneur. But I am a customer who eats out all the time. And to me this is a textbook example of an owner who doesn't get customer service. I drove all the way there, dealt with the parking, and came specifically to redeem a reward that still showed as valid in their app. It's not my fault their system hadn't switched over yet. These cakeball and truffle treats are only the size of a donut hole. It's not one of their higher end desserts. The obvious right move would've been to honor the reward and give the customer the treat. But nope. They chose the stingy route instead. And with that one decision, they lost another customer. Congrats and enjoy your cakeballs.
