Very tasty donuts and a cute space. Staff was friendly. They are quite pricy though - I think some special ones are even more I forgot to check prices before ordering. This box was $30

Cheers to their specialty drinks and I love how we can enjoy coffee mugs again! (...instead of the pandemic paper coffee cups...)

Donuts lived up to the hype! My flavor of choice was matcha cream -- not overly sweet, fluffy dough and just the perfect hint of matcha. I need to sample more donuts and next on my list are the Dubai Chocolate, Mocha Tiramisu and Strawberry Milkshake, Milky Cream Supreme... All sounds so yummy, right? Ambiance was cozy & modern with natural lighting and modern wooden decor, plus I like how this place is thoughtfully decorated with handcrafted paintings, fresh flowers and green plants. Service was good and efficient - staff with smiles and polite demeanor even during long lineup's. Yelp reviews are solid, totally agree with the 5 stars -- I enjoyed my time at Goldie's with its vibes and view and they served a solid flat white. Good specialty coffee drinks paired with yummy donuts = Great donut location to visit, especially one that comes with amazing scenic views on a nice day! Plus there's the bonus of free parking spots right in front of the store...yes, I got a spot and I am always grateful for my good parking karma. Side note to visitors: be happy when you find free parking spots available in Vancouver... parking comes with a price tag in this city. I have no complaints with meetings at Goldie's or walking over here from the ferry terminal. It's a slightly longer drive from Vancouver but perfect drive for a date. And I definitely recommend return visits when catching a ferry or when close by the Horseshoe Bay Village!

Located near the Ferry Terminal. We had some time before our ferry and we decided to walk around the area and to head here to pick up some donuts. Prices here are not cheap. I got the matcha donut and B got the Vanilla donut. The donut itself was generously filled and was very fluffy. Seating inside is very limited. I waited for about 10 mins in line before I was served. Expect to have to wait if you come here on a weekend. Highly recommend trying their donuts. Another note: A friend found this place and she said that they make really good coffee.

Depending on when you come, this place can be fairly busy. So likely no free parking. After we got here after our hike to St Mark's Summit, around 1pmish, the parking lot was full. There are 4 longer term (3hr) spots -filled. And 4 x 15 minutes parking spots - also filled. Had to drive to a paid parking lot nearby and pay parking. 10$+. not loving this. Well as far as the donuts are concerned, this is on par with the best of the best in Vancouver's - such as Mello and Doughnut Love. A thing they do better is their specialty coffee drinks which are also awesome. Plus they have ample of seating. Had the tiramisu, chocolate creme, Dubai special, and blueberry scone. Also iced cream latte and iced peanut latte. Both drinks were spot on and guilt-free after a 4 hour hike. We were in the shop for over 1.5 hours until the entire place was empty. Guess what? Those 4 spaces were still occupied by the same cars. Leads me to believe they are staff parking. Would give it 5 stars but the parking situation is a bummer.

Second time to this donut shop! It was recommended to me by a friend. It's pretty busy, especially in the summer, and the line up's will often go outside past the front door. I tried the Strawberry milkshake donut, and it was very tasty and fresh! The strawberry was sweet and tasted like summer. The donut was soft and a little chewy. The cream inside was light and airy - not too sweet.

Cute donut bakery place next to the ferry terminal! A nice area to walk around and came here to grab some donuts! They had many flavors. Not a lot of seats inside. I wasn't too impressed by the matcha flavor donut, but my friends enjoyed the strawberry cream one!

Original Dubai chocolate donut $7.50. Yummy

I saw this place on google map several months ago but only visited it recently. Took a friend who was visiting vancouver to Horseshoe Bay and decided to come in for coffee. I didn't expect it to have filled donuts like Mello plus other items. It's Korean run and I have noticed Korean run cafes tend to do good coffee. The place was so good my friend wanted to visit again the next morning, before the night flight home. So yes, we came here twice in a row. She loved the tranquility of the place and view of the mountains. It was a busier morning the second time we came here. Popular spot for locals and those waiting for or arriving from the ferry. The flat white was on point. The cereal milk donut was soft and fluffy with a light cream filling that tasted like cornflakes. I also tried the Dubai chocolate donut. The staff recommended the original which had pistachio and white chocolate filling. He said that's the least sweet of the 3 flavors. It was still sweet to me but it was really yummy. My friend got the ham and cheese croissant and she said that was good. I bought the savory Korean salted garlic butter bun and it was nice warmed up. If you can only choose one, go for the donut! But if you want something chocolatey, get the Dubai chocolate donut. I will come here in future, especially when waiting for the ferry. It's a bit of a longer walk compared to Blenz and Starbucks but it's worth the calories. Prices are ok too. (I'm still shocked by the price of hot chocolate at blenz - $6.50 for a small).

Matcha, strawberry milkshake, passionfruit mango donuts
    Seraphina T.

Goldie's has the best donuts I've tasted in Vancouver! When I walked into the store I thought it was a Mello copycat. However despite identical appearances, Goldie's was far superior and tasted cleaner than Mello. I bought the matcha, strawberry, and mango passionfruit donuts. The matcha cream had a deep flavour, strawberry milkshake didn't taste artificial and had a nice milky taste. It seems that they use real cream to fill their donuts rather than "whipped filling". The passionfruit donut (not filled) was alright, though I felt the flavour didn't come through, mainly was sweet and yeasty. The cafe itself had a beautiful view of the water. If you're on the way to Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal, it is worth the further walk to this quieter side of the village to visit Goldie's!

I love riding all the way to Horseshoe Bay so I can enjoy Goldie's Donuts. Last week I bought the Oreo, Tiramisu, and Strawberry Crème. Today I came back early so I could get the Triple Dubai Chocolate. It is so rich and decadent.

Nutty cloud, mocha tiramisu, vanilla cream custard brioche donuts - IG @bougiefoodieboi
    Kyle W.

Almost all the brioche donut spots I've been involved long lines, so this was a good deviation from that. We went here on a Saturday and it was not busy - probably 5 min wait tops from lining up to getting the drink and food. We got the nutty cloud drink and mocha tiramisu and vanilla cream custard brioche donuts. The brioche donuts are dusted in sugar and filled with a good amount of cream. The mocha tiramisu had a nice coffee flavor and the vanilla cream custard is fairly sweet. The donuts are quite soft. The nutty cloud is good - has some thick cream on top and the peanut flavor is quite apparent. Overall, solid place for some donuts and coffee.

Matcha cream latte and Nutella donut
    Donna D.

We stopped by around 5 PM, and while I love that they're open until 8:30 PM, there were only three donuts left when we arrived. We opted for the Nutella Glaze donut and two iced Matcha Cream Lattes. The donut itself was a light brioche-style--perfectly satisfying for a shared treat. While the Nutella wasn't filled with cream, it still hit the spot for a sweet tooth craving. The Matcha Cream Latte was a highlight: sweet, with a fluffy whipped topping, and full of matcha flavor. The location is ideal--right by the park and close to the ferry terminal, making it a convenient stop. The staff was friendly, but I'd recommend visiting earlier in the day for more donut options. Overall, a pleasant experience!

Can't ask for a better view of the harbour while enjoying great coffee with cream filled donuts. While the fillings were delicious and not overly sweet, the simple bread style donut batter was irresistible. Airy and tasty at the same time. The salted butter roll was rich and salty. One was not enough.

From KFC to KFD. Korean Fried Donuts. Very similar to Mello. Cream filled donuts. You can be the judge after trying them both. I'm basically impartial. Neither is better than the other, IMHO. They're both very good. Relatively new. It's bright and bustling with business. Inside seating for maybe about 20. Parking can be a bit tricky given the small size of Horseshoe Bay My only criticism? Americano was a bit weak.

Everything looked so good, so narrowing down our pick was very hard! At the end, we ordered two flavours- Matcha and Tiramisu. The matcha doughnut was soft and the filling was light yet full of matcha flavour that one would expect, I loved every bite! My friend had the tiramisu doughnut and she said that she enjoyed the fluffy texture of the dough and the creamy filling- it felt like eating tiramisu in a doughnut form.
