I haven't reviewed this Ladro yet? Ooops! I like this location because it's pretty big (never had a hard time finding a seat) and frequently open later than the Bothell Library. The tasty coffee is a nice bonus! They also have baked goods and added pre-made (Molly's?) sandwiches and salads about a year ago. I guess I usually visit on cold days because until this weekend I hadn't realized they have an outside seating area. I really like being able to sit outside on a warm day! Sitting outside also led me to realizing they have a drive-thru (through?). I wonder if that's new... there used to be another drive-thru coffee shop about a block away, but everything in that parking lot was demolished several months ago. I don't visit often because I don't spend much time in "downtown" Bothell, but I do like this location. Check it out if you're ever in the area and need a place to read/work/study! read more

A friend and I visited on a Sunday mid-afternoon, and the place was fairly empty - not that much seating however, as a heads up! I ordered a tall vanilla latte, which totaled around $4, and the taste was meh. I don't know whether it was just today, but now I half think that the barista maybe forgot to put in the espresso shot, because it had no coffee taste whatsoever. So great coffee presentation, but unfortunately a poor first experience. :( read more

Decide to try this coffee place after being to Social grounds many times across the street and being satisfied. But that was a mistake! This place is average and the coffee is as well. Got the cold brew coffee which was filled with 70% ice. Also had a salted caramel mocha special which was so-so. The treat we tried was a almond cranberry cake was very dry and needed the coffee to push it down. There is plenty of seating here and a drive-thru as well and the atmosphere is quiet and serene. Other than that nothing wants me to come back. My tip if you do come here for coffee which I don't recommend then ask for very light ice for cold drinks read more

I'm really sorry to all the Caffe Ladro fans in the world (PNW) but I'm not much of a fan. Yes, it's a coffee shop, yes it's not Starbucks or another major coffee chain, but they don't even look like they are trying. The carpet hasn't been tended to since the 1800's, the design of the overall place is falling apart and the servers look like they've all been told they are losing their jobs, at least that is how unhappy they look. Also, what's with the creepy logo? I know Barbie is disproportionate but that detective guy is just too much! read more

Love their signature cafe ladro medium roast coffee beans. Nutty, and just the perfect espresso beans, you can go wrong with these, and I swear by them. I had their pastries recently which was pretty good. I had the chai and pecan Bundt cake, almond cranberry cake, apple and butter cream cheese turn over. I loved them all expect for the almond cranberry cake. Not my cup of tea, it was too sweet but could be be someone else's favorite. read more

I often go out of my way to pick up coffee at Caffe Ladro. Their coffee is delicious. I especially enjoy their Medici coffee drink - the fresh orange peel in their syrup is amazing. They also have a super tasty gluten free cranberry almond cake that is alone worth the stop. Last week I stopped at the Bothell location after a trip to the doctor's office. I was in a splint and sling. Jenny helped me. She was exceptionally kind and compassionate and gave me a complimentary coffee. It was such a thoughtful gesture and reinforced all the reasons i like to go there - in addition to the great food and drink. I hope Jenny's manager reads this. She's a genuine gem. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised by Caffe Ladro in Bothell! Their indoor space is roomy and comfortable with a large case of food options. My coffee was delicious. The best I've had at any Caffe Ladro location. The highlight of the warm sunny day was the patio! It's well surrounded by lush greenery and spacious. The cafe was very quiet when we visited and a great spot to study or work. The baristas were welcoming and helpful. While kid friendly, it was so quiet I felt it was best to take my toddler outside so as not to disturb anyone. That was just my preference though, and we were both greeted warmly. The only thing this place has going for it is the style. Pretty neat really. I arrived 15 past opening... Ordered a simple drip coffee... Barista told me "sooo. I forgot to make it this morning. It's going to be 10-15 mins." Huh?? What's that saying??? 'You have one job...' (Obviously I'm aware she has many jobs here...but come on. Brewing the drip has to be top priority at a cafe!!!???!) Their vanilla latte was plain awful - presentation of my coffee was great with the pretty latte art, but taste was just yucky... I took three sips and decided to call it quits. In terms of customer service, it was practically non existent. Felt like the employees there have a "just order and screw off" demeanor. Perhaps i caught them on a bad day, but one bad experience was enough for me. Maybe I'll be back in a couple years to give it another try, that is if they're still around. read more

Called here on 11/06/22 around 11:20 am to check if they are open after the power outage. We drove to 2 cafe's before calling here only to find them closed due to power outage. Called them before we made the drive and a girl picked up. Asked her if they are open and she responded in a condescending tone saying "Well I am answering the phone so yes you can deduce that we are open". Before I could say other places have been closed due to power outages she hung up on me. Whoever you are please get better training at dealing with people because that is your job. Thanks for saving me the drive went to a Starbucks with lovely service. Will not be visiting your cafe ever, it was going to be my first time. Come here regularly (weekly) to meet with friends since the place opened. It is a 'cool' addition to the Bothell area and while I don't care for their house-blends of coffee, they've always got some good single-origin or other interesting blends to try. My friends always seem to like the pastries and breakfast sandwiches. The staff is usually good, especially Tim who remembers the name of everyone in my group. The place is really looking shabby though - a table I just set my laptop on wobbled so much I thought my coffee would dump. Lots of chipped paint, and wood trim, and on every chair I can see, the vinyl seat has split and is fraying. The restrooms have always been a little sketchy, but they finally fixed the 'temperamental' toilet that had a caution sign on it for over a year. Would love to see the place spruced up like the rest of Bothell. read more

I come to this spot twice a week. The drive-through is fast and the staff are very friendly. The space displays art for sale by local artists and reminds me of a cabin-market on your way to the country. It's quaint and not overdone. I often see folk having business conversations, working on their laptops with head phones; its a great meeting place and remote work site. The parking lot is small, so plan to park on the side street or just use the drive-through. The only reason it's not a 5 is that the steamed soy flavor is inconsistent depending on who is making the coffee. If they could get it down so that it tasted good regardless of who is working, this place would be a "Whoohoo! As good as it gets!" read more

Good location in downtown Bothell, and quite a comfortable place to grab a nice coffee and enjoy a chat with a friend. They have a variety of non-milk options, so I tried hemp milk in my latte. My friend got a Medici, one of their signature drinks, and thought it was great. I love the mocha freezes that they make there. They are simply outstanding! My wife loves the cafe latte and espressos -- they are always first rate. Much better than Starbucks. We order via the drive thru sign. The big problem with ordering is the noise from the traffic which makes it hard to order. Be sure to get a pre-paid coffee card. You get a free coffee after every few purchases! Also, during the winter months it's very dark at the actual drive through. One of my favorite coffee places in Bothell. It's a great alternative to Starbucks, which is on every corner. Caffe Ladro could be called a chain of sorts, since there are a number of them in and around Seattle, but they still manage to maintain excellent quality in their coffees, food offerings, and a cozy atmosphere. The internet has been a bit wonky a couple times, but certainly would never be a reason not to return. Love the vibe and try to stop by at least once a week. read more

Great coffee shop in the heart of Bothell's growing downtown. The place is very inviting and comfortable for sitting with friends or have if a small business meeting. We thoughht the prices were reasonable and enjoyed the ambiance. Our only regret was that we visited during a very rainy day when we could not sit on the Adirondack chairs on the porch. read more

This review is for the drive-thru. I wanted to park and go inside but when I pulled into the small parking lot I was routed through the drive-thru. It's quite cramped in that parking lot. It didn't help that there was construction happening at this corner as well. I will try & park on the street when I come in again so I can go inside. I ordered a Vanilla Latte. The staff here is amazing and always friendly. My wife and I just moved here from Ohio and have been going to Ladro's frequently. Every encounter has been friendly, positive and they always remember us. They even gave us a free coffee each to welcome us to the community. I really don't get it. The coffee was not that great, quite bitter a la SBux crap. The music is loud. The "oh look it's loungey seating' is no where near as comfortable or well set up as Lyon's Den or a few other places around town. And it's some of the more expensive coffee in town (again, a la Sbux) No thanks, I'll pass. read more
