This place is the best! I got an iced mocha with raspberry and my wife got a specialty cold tea (she doesn't do well with caffeine) My coffee was splendid and so was my wife's tea! We also I ordered a chocolate muffin. (They bake everything fresh throughout the day) it was just out of the over. Man 10/10 We also had the herbed scone. Also a great choice. Had a slight kick to it. We also shared the biscuit cup. She asked us if we had everything and I clumsily said yes. A few minutes later I realized we didn't have our gracy biscuit. After spending all morning talking to kids about how to protect the sea turtles whose likenesses populate Gulfview Boulevard, I needed a snack and a spark. Caffeinated Bakery offered both in name and excelled in delivery. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, a whole bunch of gluten free and vegan options, and they're a certified Ocean Friendly Business, which means they don't serve plastic bags and styrofoam containers, they recycle, and they only offer straws on request. It seems like a no brainer for any business close to a beautiful beach like Clearwater's, but these noble folks are one of the few in the area that have taken the extra steps so far. Also, my dog was super jelly of my morning glory muffin, so it was extra nice when Jill brought out fresh-baked pumpkin-based doggie treats. Everybody went home happy. read more

My husband and I stayed one week in Clearwater Beach and our only regret was not finding this place sooner. Their best cappuccino was the best he's had outside of our honeymoon in Italy, and it was served with a friendly smile by Jill, the cheerful owner. Everything here is organic and many options are also gluten-free. My husband has an egg yolk allergy, and Jill mentioned that she would be happy to tweak her recipe to accommodate that (we were leaving that morning but appreciated the gesture). We actually ended up having breakfast here twice: once on our second-to-last day, and again right before leaving town. The first morning I had an orange cranberry scone which was absolutely scrumptious - very moist and not heavy like some scones can be. On our last morning, I had the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, also on a scone (a savory one this time). Something we were surprised about in Clearwater Beach was that many of the coffee places did not open until 9 AM. I mean, what's the point?! In contrast, the Caffeinated Bakery opens promptly at 7 AM, the perfect time to get a steaming cuppa joe. Definitely check this place out, it's less than a block off the main drag.
