I've been here a few times and I think they have one of the best coffee menus in the surrounding area. They often have special menu offerings depending on the time of year. Last year, I tried their coffee flight which was Star Wars themed and it was delicious. Most recently, since moving around the corner from their location, we tend to grab quick iced coffee. Each time the coffee is very good and flavorful. Service can be a little slower, depending on the time of day you go. We went close to closing one evening and there seemed to be only one person working so getting our drinks took a little longer than normal. They also have snacks, sweet treats. read more

I tried out something different today and came out to this coffee and breakfast-lunch spot before my hair appointment and first impression walking in is retro style with a twist of icons on the wall and the decor and layout is definitely perfect for all my coffee lovers this is the spot to add on your bucket list . I love how they have variety of seat options couches,hightop, and regular indoor and outdoor seating and they have board games to come play and have nice drink and good food made with perfection. Services was smooth and quick definitely a good spot to come in during a off day or even a work day to get a variety of drinks coffee tea and special drinks that they have based on movies and favorite sweet treats . I tried their Cubano espresso which contains 2oz of espresso mixed with brown sugar its a perfect balance of sweetness and I tried there lunch menu item the Cuban sandwich 10/10 flavor and the bread was nice and soft perfect sandwich . My wife found Pourfavor Coffee Shop on Facebook, so we decided to take the drive to check it out. It's tucked inside an apartment complex, with shops on the bottom and apartments above, so parking can be a bit scarce. Inside, though, it's cozy and welcoming with plenty of seating, plus a few spots outside in front of the shop. The staff was friendly, even though when I asked about the seasonal flight, the only description I got was that it was "football themed." I figured it might be new, so I gave it a try anyway. The seasonal flight was $21 for four shot-sized lattes. They tasted good, but honestly, not worth the price. We also ordered a hot chocolate, which unfortunately was not good at all--I wouldn't recommend it. The lemon bar and pistachio ricotta were okay, but nothing that really stood out. Overall, the space is nice and the drinks weren't bad, but for the price and the experience, I don't think it lived up to the hype for us. read more

We decided to check out Pourfavor on Valentine's day weekend. The atmosphere is welcoming and calm. There's board games, a handful of children's toys, and a variety of seating (small tables, long tables, bar stools, and couches). The menu has a decent selection of drinks & food. The only thing missing on the menu are prices... which left me a little sticker shocked when I completed my order. It was fun to try the Cupid seasonal coffee flight, however, it was 4x the cost of a regular drink (for smaller portions of 4 drinks). My partner got a butterscotch macchiato and enjoyed it. We also chose to get breakfast burritos and enjoyed the salsa that came with them. We would return for coffee and food, but we'll skip the flight. read more

Today's coffee was absolutely disgusting. I ordered for both myself and my partner, which I specified to the cashier when asking for recommendations. The first order was the Lucky Charms latter with oat milk then for myself I ordered the Frosted Mint Mocha also with oat milk which both were apart of the seasonal menu. The cashier assumed after our conversation about varying opinions about Mint flavors that I only wanted a singular drink(while i stated in the beginning to order for 2 people). I received the Frosted Mint Mocha and the Spinach & Ricotta pastry instantly. While I had to remind both barista's of my initial drink order (Lucky Charms Latte). The Frosted Mint Mocha lacked any frosted mint or mocha. The Lucky Charms latte was insanely bitter after having added the addition cream to which was recommended by the barista. read more

Pourfavor is a lovely little shop. They offer a wide variety of desserts, small bites and coffee. It isnt the quietest but still manageable to the point that you can sit and work. I had a Cuban Sandwich and wasn't pleased. It lacked authenticity, missing the pickles (c'mon) and the pork was so juicy the bread was soggy. I ordered a Cortado, sweeter and it was delivered without sugar. After adding my own, I enjoyed it very much. It's reasonably priced compared to other local coffee shops in the area. Met up with two friends and brought along two babies in strollers and we comfortably sat inside and enjoyed some coffee and food. They have seasonal drink specials like this frosted mint mocha for St Patrick's Day which I appreciate! The baristas were very friendly and overall was a nice place! I really wanted to try the coffee flight but it was like $22 a pop and that is just way too much to be spending on my coffee for the day... but I hear it's a large serving so maybe would have been good to split with someone. read more

I love going out for coffee and Pourfavor has been on my list of coffee shops to try for a while. Since I was in the area, I definitely had to stop in. I absolutely loved how cozy this shop was. The beautiful art on the walls and the string lights really made it stand out. The shop looks smaller from the outside but I was shocked to notice all the seating all throughout the place. We were quickly greeted when we walked in and I was blown away with the large array of pastries and baked goods. Everything looked amazing! We decided on the Quesito which was a sweet puff pastry filled with cream cheese and drizzled with caramel and the Spinach and Ricotta Croissant. We then ordered our coffee drinks and sat in the chairs to wait for our items. The Mocha Frappuccino was absolutely delicious! The chocolate drizzled all throughout the drink really set it off. The Caramel Latte was pretty good as well but I'm sure it would have been better with an oat or almond milk versus the regular 2% milk that I chose. The pastries were served warm and tasted good. An iced salted carmel latte & an iced vanilla chai latte is what we ordered while visiting this coffee shop. I must confess that I was disappointed with the drinks. The iced chai was warm with a few ice cubes in it. I wish it was cold. And I've had carmel lattes with stronger espresso taste, which I favor. I could not really perceive the espresso in my drink. I basically tasted milk and a hint of salted caramel syrup. While service was average, the shop was welcoming with its urban feel and awesome art. I loved the hanging string lights and seating areas. A variety of baked goods, sandwiches, coffee flights, etc. are available. As for my lattes, I think I'll try another spot. read more

I came here because I was told one of the owners is a) a veteran, b) Puertorriqueña, and c) that the coffee here is amazing -- confirmed. The coffee was great. I ordered a cortado and was not disappointed. I also purchased some ground coffee as a gift for someone (who is obsessed with Frida Kahlo, and said they enjoyed the blend.) Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. A 4.5 rounded up for the bright, energetic vibes the place itself exudes, and for the fair prices. It did take a while to both place the order and get the food and drinks but it was definitely worth it for the coffee! I just got a hot decaf vanilla latte with oat milk and it was delicious. Very cute heart design on top too. I also got the breakfast burrito and it was just okay. The menu said it came with salsa but it was not there. I had a delightful lunch at PourFavor! I ordered the chicken pesto panini with plantain chips. I also got a chocolate eclair for dessert. The sandwich was really yummy, I enjoyed how generous they were with the pesto. I love pesto! The crispy plantain chips were such a nice change from chips. I loved them! Service was nice. I finally got a chance to visit Pourfavor! I'm so glad I never gave up on visiting them. First the staff. They were amazing! They were so kind! The drinks were so good. I enjoyed the coffee flight we got. They had some really unique flavors on the flight. The sandwiches we ordered were perfect. My bacon, egg and cheese tortilla wrap was pretty good. About a 1-1.5: Oh, man - I really wanted to like you, Pourfavor, but the drinks we got were just not good. This Puerto Rican cafe and bakery offers espresso-based drinks, various hot and cold beverages, coffee flights, seasonal specials, an all-day breakfast, lunch items, and desserts. I was highly recommended by the staff to get the Samoa Mocha, which I did, as well as the Chewbacca Cold Brew and the Toffee-tastic Cold Brew. Unfortunately, these were all undrinkable. The Mocha was super watered down and diluted, and there was no taste of the famous Girl Scout cookies - it was more like an artificial sugar syrup was added. Both of the cold brews were super bitter, and both just could not be distinguished from one another as they tasted the same. The service was friendly, and I loved the vibe and the decor of the place - the seating could be well-maintained, as the tables and the chairs were dirty, and it was a pain to find napkins to wipe them down. I'm not sure if we went on an off day, or maybe we should have stuck with the Cuban sandwich? I just wished we had the similar tasty experience others have had at this local spot. Friend came into town and she wanted coffee first thing. Always down to support local businesses so I picked a random "coffee shop" on Maps and this is where we headed. First thing I noticed (only because I'm a Foodie) were the pastries displaced! Cakes and cinnamon rolls and macaroons etc! They all looked amazing unfortunately this was not a trip for this. I ordered chicken pesto panini. Service was prompt and food came out fairly quick. My friend said their coffee and avocado toast was really good. Poorly placed chicken was a lil dry but pesto had good flavor. I was surprised how eclectic the joint was with the amazing art and decor and then I got a basic paper plate with a disarranged sandwich with Lays chips scattered on my plate. I was a bit let down when they told me they don't take orders on the phone only through the app. Oh well, no problem I was already there. No line. Very overpriced... the flavor of the coffee is ok but not great. It was over 40$ for two flights... as a decent amount of the glass seemed like it was whipped cream, I don't think it was worth it. Also, I get trying to be environmentally friendly with the paper straws but it's nearly impossible to enjoy hot coffee with a paper straw as it disintegrates, we did not use them. Perhaps they are best used for cool beverages? Service was quick as there were not many people there. The ambiance was quiet with more of a dim cozy lighting. This establishment has such a great vibe and the staff members were really friendly. That's the reason I gave them three stars and not less. This is the second time of a handful of others times I've been here that I'm really disappointed with the taste of the products. I got the wedding cake coffee which includes almond and amaretto flavors. I asked to have the milk substituted with either almond or oat (whichever one they had) and that is all my coffee tasted like. The pastries were ok but both barely had any filling. I grew up eating these pastries both here in the states as well as when I visit the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. No matter where I've had them, the flavors tend to be pretty consistent but not so much here. I'm really sorry I didn't enjoy the coffee or pastries as much as I wanted to. read more

Absolutely LOVE this Coffee Shop! The owner is always popping in and checking on the staff and the customers and always has a friendly smile and asking customers if they need anything. You can tell that it's a great place to work.. food is delicious but the coffee is my favorite in Hampton roads. I get the medium roast and I'm here at least three times a week. There's a great spot in the back to meet with a large group and I've never not had a place to sit comfortably when I choose to stay a while.. it's fun to play Pac-Man to release the stress of the day and it's always so cozy and inviting inside. read more
