Came here to dine at Council Oak steakhouse Located in the casino facing the Boardwalk. The Casino is Lovely very big you can def get a little turned around at times. It has a very grand interior great staircase for photo ops. Located in front of the Amusement park on the Boardwalk. Hard Rock Cafe is located in between Showboat and Resorts Casino. This is open 24 hours and have an array of asserted things to catch your late night appetite when the restaurants are closed. The prices are reasonable and definitely not over priced as one would think. The did not have bananas but I got the watermelons and they were sweet tasting. This is located right in front of the smoker and non smoker fire pit areas. So you could eat outside as well. And right around the bend getting of the guest elevators. Easy access. The breakfast sandwiches here I enjoy. Really good selections. I wanted room service but $18 for 3 pancakes. Not good regardless how much I win. So this place is the perfect solution. The coffee is okay, but is the only option until Starbucks or Harpers opens at 7am. The quick serve snacks seem okay, but the highlight to me is the desserts! The ice cream freezer rotates through items so each time we visit we can enjoy something new and different. And the carrot cake is delicious-large enough for two! read more

Open 24 hours a day. They offer sweet and savory items for sale. They also serve Lavazza coffee which is pretty good. The area is super clean and the staff is amazing! The staff here is always keeping the area clean and well stocked. They are all super nice and friendly and excel in customer service. Whoever mentored the staff should get a raise. It's always quite refreshing to see a group of people who take their job seriously. Well done Ocean! read more

I appreciate this place being 24 hours. Everything looks delicious and the price is expected from a nice hotel like this. Since I am a fan of Oreos, I got an Oreo cheesecake and cupcake. The cupcake was so basic, even I thought I could make a better one myself. Do not bother paying $6 for a cupcake that's no better than the one at your local grocery store. It is bigger than most cupcakes, but don't let the pretty picture deceive you. The cheesecake on the other hand, was delightful. Probably better than the Cheesecake Factory! However I wish my slice was bigger. This is a great place for sweets with exceptional service. Lots of places to sit and dine. read more

I love that the cafe is 24 hours. There are a good amount of options to select in regards to breakfast sandwiches but I saw no bacon. Maybe it was sold out ? I got my food within a good time frame and I was greeted immediately when I walked up to the glass just to view the food options. read more

This was much needed as previously there was a tiny coffee and baked good shop that did not accommodate the number of customers every morning. The goods are fresh although the coffee needs improvement...the free coffee on the casino floor is much better. Amazing coffee, great and fresh desserts. Then the last day that we stood at the hotel my boyfriend got a Taylor ham and egg in a bagel. He made this face that I couldn't comprehend, then picks up the Taylor ham for me to smell it! The smell was gross and it wasn't Taylor ham. Idk if they purchase a cheap one or it was bad, but it was not appetizing after smelling it. I was actually upset he didn't return it and got his money back. I had a toasted plain bagel and had to add butter which I wish was done for me its just easier for them with a large butter container and real utensils - I was opening tiny butter packets and using a plastic utensil to spread the butter. They take absolutely no responsibility for messing up your order. Far from apologetic and trying to make it right. I ordered a 20oz drink with oat milk. instead received a 16oz with whole milk of a completely different drink. I order the same drink every time I come which is prob 5 times a month. I said oat milk twice just in case I wasn't heard. When I received my drink they wanted to charge me extra for them screwing up and I waited another 10 minutes while my food got cold for them to make a new one. About 6 people who came after us received their food. I asked if ours was ready yet and a young woman snapped, "yeah, it's coming next." Then she proceeded to engage another customer and ignore us, so I asked again. It finally came out and I was defensively told, "you know, we had a lot of orders."
