Looking for a brunch place and they have good reviews. Checked in and had about a 20-minute wait. Not bad. Deb had the quiche. Said it was one of the best she has had. It tasted good to me as well. I had the Rueben Benedict. Delicious. If you like Rueben's, you love this. Fries needed work though. I like crispy fries. Overall, a pretty solid spot for a brunch and the prices are reasonable.

We came here for my boyfriend's birthday brunch and had the most amazing time. We were greeted as soon as we sat down and were given the smoothie of the day to sample while we looked over the menu. We ended up getting the oceans Benedict, A Harper's classic and our server's (Stacy) favorite, the French toast. We polished off everything and left absolutely stuffed full, can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Stacy for the wonderful experience and starting the birthday off right :)

The last time we stayed at Oceans we came across this place as we were leaving and decided the next time we stayed we were gonna go. That brings us to today. We had a 1030 reservation and were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. We had pregamed the menu on the TV in room, but ofcourse once we got there we changed our minds We got the sticky bun to share...and glad we only ordered the one because it is HUGE! You can see the remnants of it in my picture. Perfect level of sweet served in a skillet! Let it sit a minute because it's hot. I ordered the butcher shop omelet, came with chorizo, bacon, cheese, etc. It is PACKED! it looks small in the picture compared to what you'd get at a Jersey diner but it's deceptive. I could not finish it, and it was delicious. The orange juice was very fresh also.

Very disappointing overall. The food was either completely bland or overwhelmingly seasoned. We tried to branch out and order some of the more unique items on the menu rather than sticking with the basics like pancakes and eggs -- that turned out to be a major mistake. As I walked around the restaurant, I noticed that nearly every table had the "safe bets": bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Now I see why. Since it was our first time here, we wanted to try dishes that you don't usually get for breakfast. The quiche lorraine had no flavor whatsoever. The poached egg on the mitake mushroom benedict was so overcooked it was almost gummy -- I didn't even know you could get that kind of texture in a poached egg. The mushroom and the home fries were similarly bland and under-seasoned. The shrimp and grits, on the other hand, were completely overpowered by whatever blend of spices they used. And apparently, they love crispy fried onions here, because they top nearly everything with them. In my experience, touches like that are often used to cover up poor cooking in the kitchen. Also worth noting: the cappuccino came out lukewarm. No flavor, bland sides, and an overall underwhelming experience -- especially considering the prices. We probably won't be returning. Dio, however, was an excellent server. Friendly, attentive, and warm -- he was the highlight of the visit. None of the food issues were his fault, and he truly provided wonderful service.

Food was TOP! Exactly as described in the menu. Service went above and beyond. Very kind and attentive staff. The restaurant itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated.

Harper's is a brunch restaurant inside Ocean Casino Resort. They are open Mon - Fri 8AM - 1PM and Sat - Sun 8AM - 2:30PM. Every time I stay at Ocean I make sure to stop at Harper's. I've seen a few inconsistencies with the food and service here, but overall it's a great place to grab breakfast/lunch. I'm one to try different things on the menu, but when it comes to Harper's I always order the same thing; steak & eggs. The dish consists of two petite filet mignon medallions, two eggs any style, bearnaise, home fries, and toast. Service is good to great depending on who takes care of you. Fran was my server on my last visit and he awesome. He was friendly, accommodating, and attentive from the moment I sat down. Good breakfast spot, plenty of classic options on the menu, good size portions, reasonable prices. Service was a bit slow but our waitress was the nicest person. Spacious and comfy sitting area.

Came here for brunch Saturday with my boyfriend, a little after noon and we got seated right away, greeted by our server Stacy! Who was really informative and really sweet. We each got two eggs any style, and then we shared a short stack of pancakes. The food was good portions and really good. We also got a tasting of their daily smoothie which was mango and strawberry and it was really refreshing and tasty. For drinks I ordered a pomegranate mimosa and my boyfriend ordered the daily smoothie. Beautiful restaurant with a view of the ocean and great service.

We went to Harper's around 1 PM on a Sunday, there was no wait and we were seated promptly. We were immediately greeted by someone that filled up our water cups and within a minute or two our server Mike came by and promptly brought coffee over. The coffee was wonderful. We placed our order. I had the eggs with potatoes and chicken sausage. I was happy that they had an option for gluten-free toast. My husband ordered the steak and eggs. Our food was delivered in a timely fashion and looked very appetizing and also tasted great. The portion was large for me so I took my extra for later. The restaurant itself has a prime location with views of the ocean if you sitnear enough to the windows, everything was clean and inviting. I would definitely recommend if you are at ocean or in Atlantic City.

I had been to Harper's several years ago and had found it very over-priced for mediocre food. However, it moved locations within the Ocean Resort and seemed to take their food up a notch, while bringing their prices down one. The new space, which used to house an excellent Hawaiian restaurant, was spacious, modern, and relaxed. The service was timely, and our waitress was a sheer delight. We ordered a pot of the French Press Coffee, which was rich and super strong, just how I like it! For my brunch meal, I opted for the Maitake Mushroom Toast, which started with two large slices of sourdough bread, which were topped with a hefty amount of sautéed maitakes, crispy onions, and a poach egg each. I ordered the included truffle hollandaise on the side in order to pour it on as needed, and I thought it was generously packed with truffle essence. The toast came with a side of breakfast potatoes, which were greasy, but soooooo delicious. We were very impressed with Harper's changes and would definitely return.

Excellent breakfast and service. A little pricey but that's to be expected at a casino restaurant. Had the Turkish Eggs which was a very unique and refreshingly light. It was a play on a traditional Eggs Benedict and was delicious. My wife and I went twice on our last stay at Ocean and we also had the shrimp and grits, Ocean Benedict and the quiche. All were awesome. Probably one of the best breakfast spots in AC!

The food was good I had the shrimp and grits it was delicious. Service was fast although crowded the food came fast. Place was cleaned and nice atmosphere. Definitely will be back.

Harper's made my list after doing some research on notable trendy brunch spots in AC. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess, informed them about our reservation and were promptly seated. I will say, the Ocean Resort and Casino is definitely my speed. Harper's has all the making aesthetically of the Instagram worthy brunch spot. It's open and airy feel with trendy, neat, and clean sleek decor made it very inviting. Their reservation system was efficient, and the staff were polite and attentive. However, the food left more to be desired. Before we ordered, our waiter, Nancy gave us complimentary mango smoothies in shot glasses. For starters, we had the sticky bun which was quite large but good to share with our group. Our waiter, Nancy, did warn us that the portions were large and suitable for sharing. I could tell the bun was not fresh but the flavor was decent. We definitely had other patrons looking over at our table because I think the size of the dish brought on some attention. The hot chocolate was a decent size and flavorful. It reminded me of rich flavored hot chocolate from my childhood. I ordered the egg white omelet but forgot to ask if I could replace the mozzarella cheese with cheddar cheese. In my opinion, the mozzarella cheese did not blend well with the vegetables in the omelet. The home fries and wheat toast that accompanied the egg whites were good. The whipped butter definitely hit the spot. Nancy and Francisco were a great team that took care if us! We were thankful for their hospitality.

    Ask the Community - Harper's

I have a group that are staying at Harrahs Resort by the bay? Is there parking at Harpers or is there a way we could get to Harpers for breakfast on Saturday?

I recommend driving to Ocean casino self parking lot. Parking is $15 per car for non members and $5 for a signature card member (Signature member is a basic new card holder) Just go to the 6th floor (casino floor) and join the membership, it's free…

    Are there gluten free options?

Hi, Stefanie! Please refer to Harper's website for their current updated menu https://www.theoceanac.com/restaurants/harpers

They also have a great $25 dinner special on the weekends, however we weren't looking to eat that heavy. But the live music on weekends at 7pm brought me in without the specials. We started with a down East blackberry cider $8, and a wanderback Hugo pilsner $7. We took our time sipping slowly while the band's set up and began to play. I think our server was more eager for us to make a food order than we were to eat yet. But when we finally did order, we chose a Tennessee Avenue tycoon salad and the "Phish" grilled fish tacos on corn tortillas. The salad was fresh but ordinary, with grilled chicken, blue cheese, egg and bacon. Spouse opted for some sort of orange dressing instead of the normal avocado dressing, perhaps it was the same one I loved on the fish tacos, a chipotle aoli. The Phish tacos were on soft corn tortillas that needed more time on the flat grill with a little oil to crisp them up! The fish was nice and white with good sized pieces in each taco. The cabbage slaw inside was wet, mashed avocado and so was the aoli, so a little gloppy but good even if it fell apart. These tacos are normally served with a side of chips, so I asked what options I had besides potato. Our server happily volunteered a grilled vegetable side which I loved until I found out it was an $8 upcharge of which he didn't inform me when ordering. That's an extreme amount, for not advising the customer prior. We stayed for a second round, I had another blackberry cider because it was delicious. Spouse switched to the Blue Horizon Kolsch, but apparently it was high test because it was $10. It was a lovely evening but, room for improvement. The band was fantastic, played all our favorites and we stayed a lot longer as a result of the great weather and the lovely picnic tables in the "garden". The beer hall has done a great job making this a fun hangout!

I stopped in for dinner around 6:15 PM and, as always, the atmosphere was welcoming. There's indoor seating, a full bar, and a fantastic outdoor space complete with games, a fire pit, and one of the best music playlists in town--often accompanied by live entertainment. It's the kind of place where locals and visitors naturally mix together, creating a fun and friendly energy. One thing that always makes me smile is the sign when you walk in explaining that the bartenders and servers may be outside and asking guests to let them know they've arrived. Honestly, who could blame them? With the fresh salt air coming off the Atlantic Ocean and the outdoor atmosphere they've created, it's exactly where I'd want to be too. Tonight I ordered the crab cake platter, served with garlic French fries and coleslaw. The crab cakes were very good, packed with flavor, and the fries were crispy, garlicky, and absolutely delicious. A simple meal done right. Everything was fresh and appealing, I eat small portions so I took one crab cake and some fries home with me. I did ask about dessert, nothing was available, I don't do sweets frequently, I'm surprised they don't request Momma Chocolate, at Bar32 to make some extras for days they are closed. My server, Bella, was upbeat, bubbly, and attentive throughout the evening, adding to an already enjoyable experience. Parking is easy, with both free and paid options nearby, plus curbside access. Whether you're a local looking for a regular hangout or a visitor exploring beyond the casinos, Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall is well worth the short walk from the Boardwalk. Highly recommended for good food, cold drinks, great music, and some of the best local vibes in Atlantic City.

2-Star Review -- Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, Caesars Atlantic City…read more August 23, 2026 at 5 pm I really wanted to like Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Atlantic City, especially given the reputation of the chef and the prices you expect at a restaurant like this. Unfortunately, our experience was a big disappointment. The seating was the first problem. We were initially offered seats on a railing directly next to a very busy walkway. It felt more like sitting in a mall food court than dining at a restaurant associated with a famous chef. We were eventually moved to a bench-style seat that was so low that we had to sit in separate chairs next to each other just to be comfortable. It made it difficult to even talk to or see each other. The food didn't improve things. Potato Leek Soup: Served lukewarm, with very little flavor and a consistency more like a flour-based paste than soup. The bacon pieces were actually the best part. French Onion Soup: There was more cheese stuck to the outside of the bowl than actually in the soup. The broth tasted more like bouillon than a rich beef stock. Burger: Also arrived lukewarm, which was especially surprising since I ordered it well done. The meat itself was good, but the pickles were easily the highlight--they were excellent. The burger came with one small piece of lettuce. Fish & Chips: This was the best dish of the meal. The fish was good, although there was quite a bit of excess breading on the ends. There were also gnats flying around the dining area, which certainly didn't help the experience. Another odd thing for a restaurant of this caliber is that there are no restrooms inside the restaurant. You have to leave the restaurant and go out into the busy hallway to find one. Again, it contributed to the feeling that we were dining in a food-court environment rather than a destination restaurant. The service was just okay. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was memorable either. When our food arrived, our server asked if everything "looked" alright, but never returned to actually ask how the food was. For a restaurant carrying the Gordon Ramsay name, I expected much more attention to detail and hospitality. Overall, I honestly felt the service was comparable to what I'd expect at a local pizza shop or an airport restaurant in Concourse C--not what I expected from a famous chef's restaurant. Two stars. The fish and chips and those pickles were good, but that's not enough to overcome the seating, lukewarm food, lack of flavor, gnats, mediocre service and overall atmosphere. For a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, I expected an experience worth remembering. Unfortunately, this is one I'll remember for the wrong reasons.

The staff working the buffet line were also all really nice and genuinely seemed happy to be there which makes such a difference. Food wise there were a lot of standouts. The chargrilled steak had a really nice flavor and the prime rib was super tender and juicy. The pastas were cooked perfectly and the sauces were light, bright, and flavorful instead of heavy. The mac and cheese is an absolute must. They use big shell noodles with a creamy cheese sauce and toasted breadcrumbs on top which gives it great texture. The collard greens were surprisingly one of our favorite things and we went back for seconds. So much flavor. The spiced shrimp is a hidden gem and definitely something we grabbed multiple times. The pizza was also surprisingly good. We tried the mushroom and spinach and it honestly tasted like something you would get from a really solid pizza spot not a buffet. The only thing I would say is the chicken parm is hit or miss depending on how fresh it is. If it has been sitting it can get a little soggy so I would try to grab it when a fresh tray comes out. Pro tip leave room for dessert. The dessert section is incredible. The gelato was rich and creamy especially the chocolate. The croissant cinnamon roll hybrid was flaky on the outside with a soft gooey center and the cookies and cream cheesecake was rich without being too heavy. I also really liked how the seating is set up. You can sit on either side of the buffet and choose between booths or tables which makes it feel a little less chaotic. This is definitely a spot we will keep coming back to when we are at Borgata.

A pretty solid buffet considering there aren't many buffet options in the area!…read more Sushi - dry and tasted fake Seafood - all of their fishes were the highlight of the offerings! The carving station had a salmon larger than I've ever seen too. Also appreciate that they offer a spiced version of the cocktail shrimp. Meats - prime rib was very dry and overcooked but the grilled steak has really great taste Everything else is pretty standard for a buffet. Huge compliments on all of the sauces they offer to go along with your food (steak sauce, au jus, melted butter, etc.).
